Pixelation around edges of the glassy buttons

Hello

Can someone tell me why I get pixelation around these glassy buttons I created in Photoshop? They exist in the PSD and then get worse when they are saved in JPEG format. FOR INFO:

(1.) the PSD is already at 300 DPI if not as they are of low resolution.

2) the circles are layers of form that have been rasterized.

Thank you!

I think that PowerPoint supports PNGs as well. Which is a non-destructive format and takes in charge the transparency.

Warunicorn makes a good point, sorry if that seems too obvious, but by creating the forms make sure you it is created with a vector shape and not a form of raster. You can find in the top toolbar when using elliptical shape tool.

  • Photoshop button has a line of pixelated around it?

With the help of Muse, I did photoshop buttons in the past and they shot very well, but it will not work.

For this instagram button, I did, when I scroll over it it appears that border weird pixelated black around it (see below or here: http://imgur.com/1YresDF ).

The other buttons on my page don't this and seems fine (see below or here http://imgur.com/jhPezZj ).

    My approach:

Normal state of my button is black and scroll it on the State is white. So why do I get this weird pixelation? I did black icons in illustrator and then brought into photoshop. I am duplicating my black icons, then the tool using magic wand or color range selection I am highlighting the black icon and their white paint. So, I have two layers, one white and one black. I save, go to muse, and then click import Photoshop button. I attribute the normal layer as my black icon and the scroll on my white icon. Then I click OK and adjust the icon in the muse.Screen Shot 2015-08-24 at 9.44.49 PM.pngScreen Shot 2015-08-24 at 9.45.19 PM.png

What's my bad process? Help, please

    The fixed!

For the curious, this time, after that I did my button in illustrator, I exported a PNG. What I had to do was to locate the PNG file in my Finder, right click and "open in photoshop." Once in photoshop, I duplicated the layer, used the magic wand to select the black icon, he painted in white and then saved my project with a layer of white and black.

For some reason, which got rid of the awkward sketch when I brought in Muse.

What can be done if anything.

Pages that use "mixed content" (parts of the use of the HTTP page and some use HTTPS) are not secure against tampering, they will not display the site identity button. To resolve this problem, make sure that external resources you are incorporation are available over HTTPS and you use HTTPS to nest them.

For example, to iframe widgets like the Facebook 'Like' buttons, make sure that your iframe use src = "https://192.168.1.20 /...". »

I bought this laptop a few days ago, and early on, I noticed that the light around my power button does not work.

Everything works well, but because of the price, I expected to work correctly.

And what is perhaps the reason for this?

As far as I know that the power button or to be more precise, the margin around the power button should be lit / lighted.

In my opinion its not serious problem but if there s a problem for you and you are not satisfied with that, I recommend you contact the dealer to replace the unit.

I tried for hours without success to snap a portion of a photo by using the tool "Polygonal Lasso" and I get the error "no WARNING WARNING: no pixels are selected to more than 50 percent." The edges of the selection will be not visible.  No matter where you are looking for a solution, it always seems to suggest that you change the "panache".  I did this.  Several times with zero success.  There must be another solution.  Can you help me please?  Thank you.

You set the pen in the toolbar options to 0 px (zero) before using the Polygonal Lasso tool?

  • Fragments around the edges of the form?

I'm in the newest AI CC, macbook pro 15 "- most recent operating system."

I just opened a file HAVE clients and noticed there are few fragments around most of the forms, even in areas where it should be completely solid. I have seen before but never found what is the cause. My guess is, perhaps, that it has been saved in an earlier version of illustrator or something. Any help on why, or how to fix it would be great.

  • Unexpected border around the text buttons

    Hi all

I used buttons from friendly text like this:

    1.PNG

and now all my text buttons have turned like this on all my projects:

    2.PNG

If I select "transparent", the image is displayed:

    3.PNG

I don't know how it is possible as text buttons have no option of the border.

    Please what is happening?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Is it on any PC or only specific parts?

I don't know if it still applies to Captivate 5 and 5.5, but it can. When you use a text button, it will adapt to the Windows theme used. Though it may appear to go on your own PC, but look differently on another, depending on the theme of Windows in use.

This is why the Image buttons are useful. If you want to make sure that they always appear little any computer or Windows theme is used when you view your presentation.

  • change the width of the menu buttons

I'm sorry to keep peppering guys with questions, but I can't elaborate on some changes.

Please look at my site and let me know if I canShrink amd Home button more buttons. http://lettersfromyournightlynelson.com/

I added my master page menu and made everything in the dialoge properties box. I tried

to drag the edges of the button menu and even tried to take the text areas.

I want to give the place the button clips/videos and also want to be able to move the text to the down arrow. I don't want to go much smaller on text or make the page too much larger.

I don't have the advaced knowledge. I do my own buttons for that?

    Thank you.

Hi Nelson, you likely configured the menu to use a uniform size under Menu options. Try to set it to a rather uniform spacing in order to save space around the home button. In addition, if the text of menu items is always facing arrow icon down, you need to increase the width of the page of a few pixels more or you could try changing the positioning setting pieces in vertically; Center aligned if it seems pretty neat in your case.

    Thank you

  • Default scale to the size button question frame

I imported my media and dropped a DSLR 1080/25 clip to set my calendar and then went about moving other images in the timeline in which a large part is of different sizes to find that I missed something, the scale defaults to the size of the image button in the preferences, but when I press it I find that only new images I bring you to the project behavior in this way and all the stuff that I have already loaded in the project will not.

Do I have to re import all my clips on the project to get them all on the scale on the line time or is there a way around this?

You can select any number of items in a sequence, right-click on one of them and select the size of the image (or, if you have the latest version, 7.2.2 affect the size of frame, which resizes without pixelation).

  • Refresh the layers/buttons in Acrobat Viewer (Windows 7/Mac)

    Hi all

We have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on Windows 7 and update our PDFs to display up to 13 layers which can be enabled or disabled using the form and Javascript buttons.

All displays and functions fine Reader XI for Windows 7, but when we try on the drive (worm 10.1.7) for Mac there are a few questions. When we zoom in to 100% and click one of the buttons, layers and some buttons disappear. Only after moving the mouse they reappear.

I searched for a way to refresh the document or something similar, but have not yet found anything.

A similar question was posted earlier:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3282147#3282147

No one knows what is the cause and if there is a solution?

There is no JavaScript command to force a redraw of the screen.

Acrobat and Reader have somehow quite complicated writing on the screen because they are made of mixtures of pixel and vector content, often in different color spaces. It is not uncommon to find things randomly disappear if the page has intensive overlay or a bunch of annotations - sometimes only a mismatch develops between the contents of the viewport as conceived Acrobat and the data cached in the display buffer. Dirty window waving a mouse around or changing the zoom will force a repaint, where pop stuff reappears in.

Most of the time it is indicative of something not quite right with the display driver, or a lack of RAM - PDF itself is rarely to blame; If it was you will get the same effect on different computers.

FYI, if you compare the versions of reader, remember that the 2D graphic acceleration has been removed in the XI Acrobat family.

  • How to stop the desaturation on the edges of the brush

When you use the brush in shade mode it desaturates and reduces the brightness of the edge pixels.  It is very annoying when you try to change the color of some elements of the image.  If you release the button of the mouse and then continue to apply the tint, it leaves a visible line on the edges of the earlier application of tint.

An example is the linked image (enlarged to 700%).   The idea is to change the original red color to blue.  The first use of the brush works very well, but as you can see, on the use of the second when he rides the first application, it leaves a border of pixels that are darker and desaturated.

How this behavior can be changed?

    http://I41.Tinypic.com/30datlj.jpg

    Hi again.

I also have dark rings and runs at 100% hardness. It's just not as noticeable.

I think it's caused by the way anti-aliasing of the brush stroke interacts with the hue in blending mode. Hue creates a result color with the luminance and saturation of the base color and the hue of the blend color. When you make your first brush stroke, pixels from anti-aliasing at the edge of the brush stroke will have different values than the pixels of basic original or the pixels inside the race. A path overlapping later will interact with the new pixels base created by the first shot. The result is dark or rings of tracks on the edges of the strokes that overlap.

So if you really think about it, the tool behaves as expected. Maybe not an ideal behavior. But quite understandable. Long story short, I don't think that the behavior can be changed.

R Kelly's suggestion works because the brush does not change the values of the pixels of the base layer. And is probably the best solution.

    Peace,

    Lee

  • Where can I find the Forget button?

After the v33.1 on OSX Yosemite update, I tried to add the Forget button, but I can't find it anywhere. I followed the steps listed on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forget-button-quickly-delete-your-browsing-history#firefox:mac:fx33 , but the button is not listed.

Even a re - install has not been around. How can I get the button?

A second re - install makes the Forget button appear.

    For Mac:

    1. Download the Installer (DMG file).
    2. Close Firefox completely.
    3. Open the DMG file and pass the Firefox DMG file in your Applications folder. Your personal and such settings will always be there after installation is complete.
    4. Open Firefox again. Now, just follow the steps listed here here and you will find the Forget button where it should have all along.

  • When the tabs are right of the Firefox button, how you lesson their height must match that of the button?

When Firefox is maximized, the empty space below the Firefox button is almost 1/3 height.

About: config, I see entries to specify what the minimum and maximum width as "browser.tabs.tabMinWidth", but none for its height.

The height of the tab is based on the built-in style rules. You can override the built-in style rules by adding new style rules in a file named userChrome.css or using the stylish accessory. (The advantage of using the Stylish extension, is that you don't need to restart Firefox to see the rules being applied, so you can experiment more quickly.) The tab that contains the text, icons and possibly a close button, it may take several rules to get the size of the way you like it. I saw a recipe in my quick search, but I'm sure you can find some good suggestions if you dig around.
