Default scale to the size button question frame

I imported my media and dropped a DSLR 1080/25 clip to set my calendar and then went about moving other images in the timeline in which a large part is of different sizes to find that I missed something, the scale defaults to the size of the image button in the preferences, but when I press it I find that only new images I bring you to the project behavior in this way and all the stuff that I have already loaded in the project will not.

Do I have to re import all my clips on the project to get them all on the scale on the line time or is there a way around this?

You can select any number of items in a sequence, right-click on one of them and select the size of the image (or, if you have the latest version, 7.2.2 affect the size of frame, which resizes without pixelation).

  • Default scale to the size of the image in 2015 CC

Other issues on this subject come from 2012.  I use CC 2015.  I have preferences - default scale of size of frame check box. He has always worked in this project.  I thought that this meant simply that when you cut large images in the timeline, they automatically adjust to the size of the current image of the project. I've done several times before, and I can resize images - zoom - without loss of quality.   All of a sudden when I'm cutting the large images (JPEG, etcl) in the timeline with this project that's making them huge in the Progam monitor.  Am I missing something?

    Thank you

and I can resize images - zoom - without loss of quality.

Unfortunately this is not true. When you use default scale to the size of the image the image is set to 100%. Which means that when (zoom) amplify it exceeds 100%, resulting in a loss of quality.

Select all of the images on the timeline, right-click and press Set to the size of the image.

It suits them also in the chassis, but according to their original format.

When you zoom in there is no loss (until you reach 100%).

  • Is footage Epic 5K - there a way by default "scale to the size of the image" horizontally?

    Hey there,

So basically I have a 2 sequence of k (2048 x 854, 2.40:1 aspect ratio) and I work with 5 k Epic Full Frame footage. With "scale to the size of the image" on, it fits the image from top to bottom, leaving black space on the sides. I know that I can just step up, but it means that I have to disable the subsampling if I want without loss of quality. So what I want, it's so he can mount the frame horizontally and be able to adjust the framing from the top down. Is there any setting I can change to make this happen? Is the part of the RED workflow I'm missing?

    Thanks for reading.

I agree with Ann, as usual.

Stay with me on this because I have a workflow that might work for you.

Don't forget that you can create a sequence using a size of the image that is 2048 wide, but it is large enough to display your picture video when revised downward. If the image full frame are 16:9, it would be 1152.

Once you have this sequence, you can drop all your clips on it, their balance all by the scaling of one, copy and paste the attributes to all the rest as suggested Ann.

Now you can simply use this sequence rather than the individual clips, so that your source media. You can chop it to everything in the Source monitor and delete sections of the sequence on the sequence of 2048 X 854. This means that you just have to use the parameters of position up and down sections, and it will be an easier than all the scale when you drop them on the timeline. Or, of course, you can create a sequence of 2038 X 1152 for each of your media clips in place, in order to keep the names right. It is up to you.

Now, it is probably useful only if a lot of the clips work well without be moved upwards or downwards. If the center of section works well for enough of them, it probably you will save time and trouble.

However, if you want to enter the path for almost all of them effect anyway, then it might be just as easy to their one size at a time. Although the position can be changed more easily than the scale, click on the query parameter and setting the right position in the program monitor.

You could put three different copies of a handy clip at the front of the timeline. A cup Center, one at the top and bottom of the frame. You can copy one like that you want when you want.

Many ways to skin this cat.

  • Question on "Scale to the size of the image by default"

    Hello

I put my sequence of 1080 p at 25 fps.

However, my source material are a mixture of 4K video and also extracts of 720 p and also some pictures.

I noticed that if I uncheck the "Default scale to the size of the image" box, each time, I put the clips imported into the timeline, it's too big and I have to go the effect controls panel to reduce the size. It is very time consuming especially if I have a lot of 4K video clips on the timeline.

According to me, that if I check the box of 'Default scale to the size of the image', when I put the 4K video on the timeline, it fits very well. My question is when I enlarge him to say the Pan effect, of the resolution will be downgraded compared to when I do not check the "default scale to the size of the image" box?

    Thank you

If you use the scale to the size of the image, either in manual application or by ticking the "default image size scale" in preferences, your clips will be scaled down (in the case of the 4 K sequence) or upwards (in the case of the sequence of 720 p). In both cases, the clips on the timeline for reference the original source material, so all of the pixel content present in the 4K source, for example, is always available for you to resize.

You will notice, however, that if you open Motion and see the scale component - it will read 100% because - the clip on the timeline has indeed been reduced to sequence frame size - making it difficult to * how the clip was be reduced or enlarged as the balance indicates the same.

A better way to edit the clips to the timeline the clip on the timeline, and then select and right click or control click and choose the size of the image, the value and now scale will reflect the percentage reduction or expansion, so you can see how much you can resize until you start to lose resolution.

Unfortunately, the set to the size of the image is not yet available as a default, you will need to use it manually.

  • Scale to the size of the image

So I see that if I set the scale to the size of the image it dimensionnera my clips on import and I lose the high resolution... Sucks a bit

Is in any way at all to the scale of the element when importing to the timeline? Final assembly used to do this, and it was awesome...

I work with mixed 1080 p and 4 K images... So we are mastering 1080 p and whenever I shoot a clip of 4K I have to manually resize 50%

Is it possible to automate this scale to 50%? The main reason I want to do with scale is some of the 4K clips that we have planned for crop... If default scale to the size of the frame that will mess up...

Really surprised there is no easy way to do... I must be missing something...

There is a way easier to do, but still not as easy as it should be.

You can do a right click on the elements in the sequence and choose SETTING to the size of the image.  This will allow full resolution cropping.

Be nice, if we didn't have that as a general preference, along the scale of intelligence.

  • Question on the scale to the size of the image.

So if select scale to the size of the image on 4 k sound clip now 1080... When I Zoom in on this now clip 1080, am I zoom in the film source 4 k or 1080? Also if I uncheck scale to the size of the image the 1080 images back to the 4 k?

    Thanks in adance

You are zoom in a framework of 1080 100%, which means losing the image quality.

In other words do not use size framesize but the framesize value, it will keep its original framesize of 4K.

  • Wavy vertical lines distort up and down when I use the scale to the size of the frame in CS6

In recent days, while I import images HD to SD comp and use the scale to the size of the image now I have these wavy vertical lines at the bottom and the top (instead of black). I have a problem when images are suspended, when I play it's ok, and also the problem appears when I export images. I have to reduce my images manually in some 62% and then it's just the way it should be.

When you create a PDF from a scanner, is there a way to set the default value for the size of 8.5 x 11 letter custom every time I make a PDF from a scanner?

    Hi kevin7frg,

You can go to "file > create > scanner > configure presets PDF»

The dialog box that appears, you can choose 8.5 X 11 as the default width and height of PDF pages to scan.

    Hope that helps.

  • Scale to the size of the image width or height?

I noticed that this feature puts across clips with the orginal until the width proportions or height responds first the size of the image.

However, anyway is to dictate who? Say I have a sequence of 720 p and I have a clip of 1270 x 780 for example.

And I want the width to be filled entirely despite having to cut some of the pixels off blackouts.

If you want the ability to choose between

height, width or both in the dialog "scale to the size of the image."

    You can apply here:

If not... create, copy, and paste

  • Pixelation when scaled to "scale to the size of the image?

    Hey all,.

When I put a clip from 4 k to 'adapt to the size of the image' on a timeline of 1080 p and then it swings a bit, are there any negative pixelation/aliasing occurring as opposed to simply scaling the 4 k clip to the timeline 1080?

In my view, that it is impossible to discern, but I was wondering if I do something wrong in my workflow.

    Thank you!

Yes, "Scale to frame size" is destructive. If you open the effect controls panel and look at the scale parameter that you choose this option, you will see that the setting remains at "100" means that your newly reduced film is now 100% and everything above that will cause the loss of resolution.

What you want is the much better "to the image size" option just below (in the context menu), which will scale your footage to 50%, in order to preserve your goodness in 4 K.

  • Mobile version, do not scale to the size

I have a website I did (www.motherducts.businesscatalyst.com). Until today, for some reason, the mobile version would scale to fit the screen of the phone. Now, I'm stuck with the problem in the attached photo. I don't remember changing anything that should affect the ability of the site across the various cell phone screens. Yesterday, I had a few problems where clicking on a button on the mobile version would be a reason any redirect you to the desktop version of this page, despite double control I had buttons to go to the correct pages without a doubt. I just seconded the buttons, then their relinked on the pages and which corrects THIS problem. But now my MOBILE version will not evolve to adapt to the size of the screen. Any suggestions? Notice how it is shifted completely to the left. It can also be difficult to see, but there is a considerable amount of white space at the bottom as well.

in Muse, delete this text box empty and republish the site, this should solve the problem.

Just set up slide a quiz with all the buttons the way you want they look on other slides, and then select one of the buttons and go to properties > turn and look for the small drop-down list at the top right of the accordion.  Select apply to all objects of that Type.

When you do this for each type of button on the slide of questionnaire, all similar buttons in all other slides in questionnaire within this project will jump at the same place.

  • default value for the size of the array

    GDay,

I have a cluster with some values and an array of Boolean. I use the cluster in different screws, so I recorded it with a typedef.

I would like to add a required table for my table size 2-dimensional Boolean. How can I afford?

    Thank you very much

    bemvo

Store default values or using the table to really reshape does not execute the action to force a mandatory array size. You can't really set a size of array binding 'automatically '. A programmer can plop down your typedef on the block diagram and change the number of lines/columns in any way they want, regardless of whether it has default values. This way, your program must check each time the cluster is used. If you choose to generate a mistake is yours, depending on which means that data.

On a broader note, LVOOP (or similar) can be used for this sort of thing. By example, if you had an accessor function to set the table this accessor function can check that the size of the array.

You may also be able to do with XControls, but I don't know since I have very little familiarity with the people.

  • How the timecode by default for all the clips instead of frames?

I've been using PP for a few years now and I must have hit a setting by chance and I can not understand how to fix it. All my clips in the preview area and the default bins for the frame (for example 889) instead of timecode numbers (for example, 00:29:19). It's very embarrassing because I prefer to see time instead of managers. I fixed it in my sequence and I can manually change the clamp while in the preview but area it is very painful and I can't figure out how to change it for locations. I used a Canon Rebel T3i to 1080 HD if it helps... It has only become an issue recently.

Go to file > project settings > general and set the video timecode display Format.

  • How to make the default value of the hdpi button to

I noticed that if I add a HiDPI button to a Muse site, the default state for retina display devices is to be turned off (IE content is not displayed in HiDPI), but if I do not add the button on the site, it is by default to it.  I that my site by default on 'on', but include the button so that users have the option to turn it off.

Does anyone know how to default Muse HiDPI 'on' when the button is included?

The HD button will work and be enabled if users visit on the HD compatible monitors. The gray status appears when on a site or a monitor that does not support the HiDPI. Red State is displayed when you are on a site HiDPI and have a compatible monitor or device and means that the images are not HiDPI. The Green State is the same as the Red State except HiDPI images are loaded.
