  • Generate CSV with pl.sql column names

    Hi guys,.

    Well, I am back after a long hiatus in this form, was occupied by SAP BI project.

    Now do some oralce - sap project, well here, I needed to generate a CSV of many many queries,

    I can do via sql, but I tot it would be better to write a package or a common procedure to generate csv files

    ex, if I pass the query to the proceudre it should generate csv on the server directory file, later I send these file to the users concerned.

    The e-mail part is later, but first of all is to have a package of generic to launch and run the query n generate the csv file.

    I guess this should be possible using native dynamic sql and utl_ package, but I don't know how to get the columns name,

    If one has implemented this please explain me the way,.

    ex:
    Select emp,mgr, empno from emp;

    emp mgr empno
     1    1    123
      2   1    234

    something like that
    hope my question is clear

    Maybe try this

  • SQL query generated by insertion/update of data vi?

    Hello!

    I'm new to LabView, now rated as my company's management plans to buy licenses for several developers. I'm now playing with the database connectivity toolkit and try to insert/updated updated data sets. Everything is good with simple tables, but when I try to execute relatively complex queries are often mistakes LabView diagnosed everything as "syntax error in Update statement" or something like that with no specific details.

    Is it possible to read the actual SQL queries generated by these vi or is there a (preferably free) tool to monitor all SQL queries called by my LabView program?

    Here is the link I promised last night. It includes a review of the issues with the CSD and why it is not necessary. There is also a link with some drivers that allow you to do what you need to do and are free - and a brief tutorial on the access to databases.

  • Two similar computers blue-screening for 3 months on a daily basis

    Hi all

    I have two workstations Dell Inspiron (Windows 7) put in place for a small business to point of sale. In December the two computers began blue-screening and restart the mid-day up to 4 times. (We do well more than one). Because even if the computers are similar models, they were purchased a few months apart, for this reason I think that a hardware problem is very unlikely.

    What I did:

    I looked in the newspapers, I discovered that, for each kernel power event, there was a bug control error.  There are two different values hexa% 0x000000d1 and 0x0000000a. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL respectively.

    I used the BlueScreenView program to display data in the minidump files:

    Here is an example of the result of BlueScreenView for 0x00000000d1

    Here is an example of the result of BlueScreenView for 0x0000000a

    Day before yesterday, I diagnosed as a driver Realtek LAN obsolete and updated the driver. Bug control did not happen again, but I'm not convinced he is gone for good again.

    Thanks for any help,

    If this driver update does not resolve the problem, you will know soon enough. Best time to leave a few days and use of computers on a daily basis prove or disprove / convince that his party for good.

  • ORA-06528: PL/SQL Profiler generator runtime error

    Version 11.2.0.3.  I have installad DBMS_PROFILER:

    I tried to use dbms_profiler.start_profiler in PLSQL code with user NUFN and discovered that lacked the NUFN user privileges on the objects of the Profiler. So I ran the following grants:

    grant the update, insert and delete on plsql_profiler_units to NUFN;

    grant the update, insert and delete on plsql_profiler_runs to NUFN;

    Grant execute on DBMS_PROFILER to NUFN;

    But still no luck:

    SQL > START

    I can't find what is missing from my user NUFN for her to be able to run DBMS_PROFILER.  Help, please!

    Thanks Bella, I had not run @?/rdbms/admin/proftab.sql as my user NUFN but as sys.  But you know what?  Even after execution of @?/rdbms/admin/proftab.sql as NUFN, the problem persisted!

    So I traced my session, read the trace file and found nothing wrong (but I have no experience in finding fault with the workings of dbms_profiler).  But I found the SQL code executed by the dbms_profiler.start_profiler command, which is:

    PARSING IN CURSOR #4574691968 len = 155 dep = 2 uid = 155 oct 2 lid = 155 = tim = hv 530047132716 = ad 3718124591 = "7000000946da848" sqlid = "akx2pxvftw51g."

    I tried manually the same HOME, and bingo, I discovered the cause of my problem:

    INSERT INTO PLSQL_PROFILER_RUNS (RUNID, RUN_DATE, RELATED_RUN, RUN_OWNER) VALUES (PLSQL_PROFILER_RUNNUMBER. NEXTVAL, sysdate, 'manually', 'ME');

    ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace execution times

    After performing ALTER USER NUFN QUOTA UNLIMITED ON STATES; the problem has been resolved.

    Conclusion: after DBMS_PROFILER installation for a user, make sure that the user can write in objects DBMS_PROFILER (SUBSIDIES and QUOTAS).

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you

    The problem was a combination of factors.  Specifically, THIN LUNS on EMC VNX with Windows 2012 R2.  It's to do with how 2012R2 TRIM questions and cancel orders MAPPING in the table.  Basically, he blows on MS and has a knock on effect on all LUNS.

    The thing in our case is that we have a chassis package HP blades, for the most part running ESX, Windows R2 2012... and we essentially had a single physical machine 2012R2 out the table in its entirety...

    Defrag on 2012R2 exasperated this issue and was a way to find the number of logic (light IO) massive unit on the Page file for example, LUN during the defragmentation operation

  • How to synchronize production and QA planning app on a daily basis

    Hi all

    We intend to plan planning backup app to production to QA on a daily basis, so that we have a fall back option available incase something goes wrong with the production. Please let me know what would be the best way to achieve this? Or if you have another simple solution, what would be really useful! Thank you!

    We expect under objects would be updated on a daily basis in the production and those that should be brought keep QA in harmony:
    -> contour Contour/Essbase planning
    -> creating new security user filter
    -> data Essbase

    The options that we thought:
    -> use LCM to automate the backup process (do not know how to do this, will move through the document)
    -> use ODI to automate the backup process
    -> copy the production to QA scheme

    Things to note:
    Using the system 11.1.1.3
    Simple planning applications with max 2 GB of data

    It is stored in HSP_SYSTEMCFG and the EIE_SERVER column

    See you soon

  • If I can revise the SQL code generated by OBIEE

    Hi all

    I had a problemetic SQL generated automatically by OBIEE. I have to rewrite or at least add a tip to make it complete within a fixed period.

    But I'm not sure if OBIEE offers us this feature to change or customize the SQLs it generates?

    Please help to give some advice.

    Thank you very much.
    Leon

    Hi leon,.

    OBIEE increases the performance of the aliases table, cz as he can't do oneself joined himself.
    Please visit this link this will solve your problem to improve performance

    UPDATE POST
    @leon, you cannot change the SQL code generated by obiee, your obligation to use EXISTS instead of IN operator, then you can do this in the physical layer of RPD by accessing the properties of the table and select SQL problem and write your query with condition EXISTS on the relevant tables. So that in turn Bi server accepts and converts according to its methodology.

    UPDATE POST-2
    @leon, you can use rownum in your where clause, but check the query generated by OBIEE and the results obtained by rownum satisfied your requirment.
