• Render without transparency

  The bulk of my comps pre rendered totally fine, but two of them are black instead of transparent (the background color for the model).  I inspect the files again and that you can see no reason that they would have a black background, as there is only text above the background.  I made these to setting "Animation" like all the others.

  I think the only difference is that for these two files, I made them instead of "PreRender" them.

  In the Inspector, I noticed that those with transparency say 'premultiplied' after 'millions of colors' while those without transparency does not "premultiplied".

  Check your output with care module settings. It should be made right Alpha million + RGB + alpha in all cases. If you're without game alpha the color to premultiplied (MAT).

  If your imported files with an alpha, it will be displayed in the property inspector in the project Panel. If it does not say something like Millions of colors + then you did not indicate the output module to render with alpha. If you use the animation codec that the inspector should look like this.

  You have two options here.

  (1) cut the layer to start where you want it to appear.  You can do this by dragging the handle of the layer where you want to start, or by visiting at the same time, you want to start, by selecting the layer and pressing 'alt + []'.

  (2) use hold keyframes.  At the beginning of the layer, set the opacity to 0, activate keyframes, then right-click on the just created keyframe and click on "toggle hold keyframe.  Then go to where you want it to appear, and then set the value to 100. This emerges from one value to the other rather than the interpolation between values.

  The problem is that this charger adds that the information of an image loaded as an instance.

  I need to export a PDF from Indesign CS5 for a print magazine. They ask me now, don't use transparency. But I used some shadow and the effect on my text that I want to keep. Is it possible to keep my effect and give a pdf without transparency. Do I have to iron out some element with other software.

  (I export PDF v1.3 as requested by the magazine).

  Use THAT PDF/X-1 has predefined, which exports a flattened PDF CMYK.

• How to remove a layer without transparency?

  I want to disappear a layer (equivalent to about 40% opacity) unless it becomes transparent because I have another layer under what I won't show through it.  I'm trying to tame the image without transparency.  It seems it should be easy, but I can't understand it.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

  1. duplicate the layer opacity change needed.

  2. block transparency, select all, fill it with white. Set the opacity to 100.

  3. pass the double layer that you did in step 1 and change opacity.

  White blocks the underlying layers to show through. I think that something like what was suggested to post 4.

  The idea of above-mentioned levels or curves should work too:

  1. new adjustment with a clipping mask layer

  2. move the black point to white

  3 change the opacity of the adjustment layer. The opacity of target = reverse. So if you want opacity 40 put the layer opacity setting of 60.

  Please note that these procedures will not necessarily produce the same result. Similar, but can be slightly different depending on the transparency of the target layer mask.

  I want to use a book file to combine several smaller files (let's call them "chapters").

  Each of my chapters has a number of objects (cmd - D).

  I said who placed objects remain outside the main .indd file and allow re-binder if one of these files is updated or replaced.

  • So you place graphics and text files in an InDesign doc (we'll call it aCHAPTERc) and use the features of InDesign to arrange a nice layout.
  • Repeat this process for each chapter.
  • Collect all of the chapters in a book for the paging file, generate a Table of contents, may be a clue.

  Now what? If you want to print, you can export the book to PDF and send it out for professional printing. Or you can package the book (use the menu of the control panel in the upper right of the book panel) and collect everything you need for printing through InDesign in a single project file, as well as folders nested for fonts and graphics. The zip file and send it out for professional printing.

  These days, providing a high-resolution PDF is more common. So, why use the package? Let's say you're not particularly organized. (I am and always start with a project folder and subfolders and put everything that relates to this project in these folders.) But let's say you're not. You can still use the package afterwards, just to collect and copy all of the assets of the project in a new folder (assets include book and chapter files, fonts, graphics and .idml file and a .pdf print quality). Zip, archive and you are ready, when someone says: "Hey, can I get a copy of this article moved you 10 years ago? What is happening to me more that you would think!

• InDesign makes clearer images when I add an object or an additional transparent image?

  I often have a problem that i' of like to see solved, but for months I found no tutorial that would help me solve the problem.

  When I'm designing a book or a magazine and have a picture on a page or spread [double page] and decide to add a transparent object or apply an effect on one of the images, the other image [s] on the page or even spread seem to emerge, as if I applied some sort of effect of brightness on them , which I did not.

  and if I remove the effect that I applied on that image, other images suddenly back to their original appearance.

  Anyone know why this happens? IM missing probably a few obvious step or not to do an additional action...

  I should add that I always add the images in CMYK mode [in color] and grey scale (black and white) and 300 dpi, although I don't think that the problem comes from there.

  I know that InDesign is not a color space in real grayscale, unlike Photoshop. David Blatner, a real InDesign expert, has created a good video series on color management in InDesign on Lynda.com. He said, "in InDesign, a grayscale image is defined as CMYK or RGB. If the mixture is set to CMYK, then InDesign sees this as a CMYK image with data only on the black plate. • Why the placed object frame moves without content

  I use ID CC for a few months (previously used ID 5) and have a problem with moving a placed image. I don't know that some knowledge of something that has changed with the upgrade path, but cannot figure out what I'm missing.

  It was that I place the object (with the Selection tool black selected), and then I click it and drag it to where I want to. Now, most of the time, I'm doing this and only the frame moved without content. After several attempts, it seems to me succeed to catch the right way (but I don't know anything) and finally had all to move properly.

  Should I not I just need to click on it (with the black selection tool) and drag to the right place? Is it necessary to click on a certain place of the picture (doesn't seem to be) or something else I'm missing?

  With the Selection tool if you hover your mouse over the image to the Center, you will see that it turns into a hand icon and a double concentric circle (content grabber). If you want to move only the image use content grabber. If you move a little past the content grabber goes into a black arrow. This indicates that you can now move the frame + image together.

  The operator of .NET TestStand delivered Interface has a manifest file included in the project. This manifest file contains the controls of Micrsoft.Windows.Common that is necessary to identify the XP theme that has been configured on the operating system.   Meeting space Windows took over my computer, wanting me for some experience of laboratory on Vista computers. They change all my files write of false event logs to send to Microsoft to take me off of the internet, mess with my screen and what they want because I will not help them.  I read on the Microsoft Forum here that many people complained of Windows support for their computers.  It sounds ridiculous, but it's true.  It is very difficult to enjoy your computer when this happens.  In the Microsoft privacy policy, they tell you how to cancel registered iv6 that has to do with the meeting space.  They just hung.  They took off my Norton Security 4 times the other night because I wouldn't get them administrator.  Who's going to do this right? I don't know who is behind all this.  I tried to do a re-installation of operating and they controlled that.  I guess I'm stuck with them for life.  People of virus cannot remove them because they are Windows!  Attention to your users of Vista, they want a private network and they slide people across the firewall.  I have proof of all this and friends who have been witnesses and we try to understand the best way to move on this.  I just wanted everyone to know.  Signed Just wants to be left alone-Christie Thorington ZD

  If you work on projects in collaboration with other Vista users, meeting place is a program very handy to have around. It allows you to share files on a network to change them with a remote colleague. A lot of people were disappointed with Microsoft dropped Windows 7 meeting rooms.

  Hi all

  I am trying to create a bunch of different themes, with various wallpapers and color schemes.

  I use right click on desktop-> personalization.

  At first, it seemed possible to create different themes by going to the image I want, right click on 'set as wallpaper', then enter right-click-on - desktop-> personalization, right click on the theme "non-registered" now watch the wallpapers, I just chose, then selecting "save us." This appeared to save the theme under personalization-> my themes.

  I got up to 5 different themes under "My themes" by doing this.

  But now, #5 theme, it works all of a sudden is no longer like that.

  Now, when the value a new picture as a wallpaper, it does not change only "Unsaved theme" for new wallpaper, it changes at the same time theme #5 to this wallpaper as well. When I save the new theme theme #6 and then go to change theme #5 to the wallpaper I had originally, it replaces theme #6 as well. It is impossible to change a wallpaper without changing both of them.

  I don't understand why it ehaves in this way. Why can't save just a theme and then not have to worry that it will be crushed randomly if I do something else with a completely different theme?
