Play all does not not on media player 11

Hi, I have a weird glitch that is just developing, and I can't work, how to sort. When I double click on a song in my library it plays only this song and no one else (if the repetition is on he replays the same song;) If not, it just stops). Also, if I click with the right button on a song and click on 'Play All', the same thing happens - just play a song.

I had WMP 11 for a few years and its always good work so far. I have not updated or change anything. The only thing I can think is at the point where I found that I had the keyboard apart and can have pressed a shortcut to disable this feature?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello

Sorry that I did not respond earlier alerts have not worked properly and I have not seen you replied. There is nothing in your newspaper that seems to be the problem you are experiencing. You have a file that is corrupted, organize.wmv, but this is NOT a system or a WMP file, only a film created. You also have a Korean dictionary file which is corrupted which does not apply to your question or WMP. The rest are a few repetitions of these two questions so nothing there to help at all.

Another player would have of course seems to be a possible root cause if you have installed one of these?

Did you find the solution?

    Hello

    The Blu - ray disc format is not supported in Windows Media Player. To play a Blu - ray Disc, you must use a non-Microsoft program that supports playback of Blu ray and a device that can play Blu ray discs.

  • Why not Windows Media Player 11 does not recognize w4a files in the library list more.

    I have Windows XP Pro (SP3) with Windows Media Player 11. I had a virus wipe my hard drive (everything has been updated) and after reinstalling and updating everything, it no longer recognizes the w4a files, but it automatically plays them the OMP 11 if I click on the file in Windows Explorer.

    Before the accident, all the files on my computer w4a was included in the library. Now the entire albums, as well as individual songs are missing. In fact, now NO w4a file is listed. So my question is, why does Windows Media Player 11 recognize the w4a files?

    Hello

    Method 1: I suggest you try the steps from the link below and check if it helps.

    a. close Windows Media Player.
    b. find the file of database on the computer that contains the entries of your library. In general, the library database file (CurrentDatabase_219.wmdb) is located in the following directory:
    (Drive :) Users/xxx(the user name)/Appdata/local/Microsoft/Media Player
    c. right click on the file and then click Rename.
    d. rename the file by changing its file .bak extension.
    e. start the player. When you do so, a new database of library file is created.
    f. press F3 on your keyboard to open the add to Library dialog box search for computers.
    g. click the Browse button to search for a folder on your computer that contains digital media files. Specify the location of the folder in the box look in.
    h. click on the search button.
    The player will search for digital media files and playlists in the folder you specify and add to your library. If you have your files and playlists stored in different folders on your computer, you may need to search for files several times, by specifying a different folder every time.

    Method 2:
    You may need to rebuild the database of Windows Media Player.
    Here's how:
    To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:
    a. exit Windows Media Player.
    b. Click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
    c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
       Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
    d. restart Windows Media Player.
    Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • When I copy a CD in Windows Media Player 11 does not apply media information.

    With the XP sp3 operating system, I rip the CD purchased and Windows Media Player 11 does not apply media information. Either he gives and error saying that it cannot be done because I am not connected to the internet while I'm connected, or it can recognize my internet connection, but I have to do a manual search and manually apply the name of each track, even if they are present and order under each line I have to click to match the name of the correct track.

    It's so frustrating to have to fight manually for applied information on the media which is clearly presented, and after all, album art that shows correctly in the finder info media constantly refuses to fill in the library and I have to go to a separate Web site and copy and paste it in. Yes, he found elsewhere on the internet, with the help of the connection which was present all along!

    It's crazy, the info is already there! And why do I go online in any case the info is in the CD? This doesn't seem to be a problem with the previous players. Please provide a fix for this useless, frustrating dinosaur, waste of time, a process!

    You can always create a Flash "DVD. That you might be looking at the wrong place. Microsoft has carefully avoided any licensing MPEG-2/DVD and simply uses the libraries of other DVD software on your system, when no such thing is installed, it never works.

    Hello

    The title says it all... My 'play' button does not work. All the other buttons on the Panel works... Like power, next song, previous and silent song.
    I use the Satellite L500-12th, I had for 3 years now with no problems until today.
    Can I do to solve this problem?

    Which player do you use? Maybe Windows media player?

  • Do not have media player.

    Original title:

    Running windows 7 64 bit

    Do not have media player. Can't see a reason why not that it is supposed to come with installed WMP. Can't seem to download WMP either, even if a window has suggested that v11 is not eligible for my version, but then wouldn't download the version that he finally recommended

    WMP is included in all editions of Windows 7, but is not activated [ready to use fact] for Pro / Ultimate Editions.  I guess you must have one of these editions.

    In all editions, this is the same WMP version 12.  WMP11 is not compatible with Windows 7 The following two procedures apply to all editions of Windows 7 and are not destructive - nothing is installed or uninstalled.

    1 to enable WMP12 in any Windows 7 Edition:- Control Panel, [view by - small icons, if necessary], programs and features, [left] Windows enable or disable features, multimedia features, set the check box, Windows Media Player , Yes, OK, Restart the PC.  It is now available for use [and will remain so despite reboots, etc.].

    2 on the other hand, if you have always wanted to turn off:- Control Panel, [view by - small icons, if necessary], programs and features, [left] Windows enable or disable features, multimedia features, clear the check box, Windows Media Player , Yes, OK, Restart the PC.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    The above applies to the normal versions of Windows 7.  If you have a regional special versions KN/K/N, then use this link WMP for editions N-K-KN - download Media Feature Pack - Microsoft Download Center [this download does not work for the normal versions, i.e. those delivered with already included WMP].

  • No video on mpg not files Media Player in WIndows 8.

    I have video files that have been converted to another format mpg. They play perfectly on my WIndows 7 PC. I use WMP and Movie Maker. I have a new PC with Windows 8. In one of these programs the videos play sound only. No error message. Do not know if I am missing a CODEC or all that. Any thoughts?

    It did not work for my case.   I ended up having to upgrade to the "Media Center" edition and then everything worked fine.    It was an extra $ 9.00.   I guess that some people do not use Media Player, it is decided that out of the packaging.

  • The Stream.play () method does not work why?

    I want to create an application to switch streams and republish them under continuous flow unique to the remote server.

    In the first step, I tested "Livestream code" of the "Multipoint publishing example" p. 184 of "FLASHMEDIA SERVER 4.5 Developer's Guide ADOBE®" If ns.publish method is used. He managed.

    I try stream.play method now.

    I wrote main.asc code as in the Stream.play example (p. 162) of the 'the ACTIONSCRIPT Language Reference® to ADOBE® FLASH® MEDIASERVER 4.5 server-side", but I have a certain problem despite this.

    I try to spread on my local server (Uri - "localhost/studia") by two customers - OUT and my request for "Livestream" accordingly (with stream name "livestream2") and retraslate it to a remote server by using my "studia" on a local application.

    The connection between two servers (with application "on-line") appears in the Remote Server Admin Consol, but the flow of my local server do not come to her.

    Here's my main.asc script:

    application.myRemoteConn = new NetConnection();

    application.myRemoteConn.onStatus = {function (info)}

    trace ("Connect" + info.code + "\n");

    Respond to all customers

    for (var i = 0; i < application.clients.length; i ++) {}

    application.clients [i]. Call ("onServerStatus", null, info.code, info.description);

    }

    };

    Connect use NetConnection object remote server (the remote server works with other application wery well)

    application.myRemoteConn.connect ("rtmp://RemoteServer/live");

    Estimate of the server data flow

    application.myStream = Stream.get ("livestream");

    application.myStream = Stream.get ("livestream");

    If {(application.myStream)

    application.myStream.play ("livestream2", 0, -1, true, application.myRemoteConn);

    }

    The Stream.play () method does not work why?

    What I've done wrong?

    In this case, I recommend a mixture of solution...

    Something like that will be interesting to check:

    var tempSwitchingStream = Stream.get ("myswitchingstream"); create a stream live temp on the server local app...

    tempSwitchingStream.play (livestream1, 0, -1);      Subscribe to tempSwitching to livestream1... That is to say get the content of livestream1 in there... I can also switch to different streams inside... tempSwitchingStream will get the contents of the stream of //switched

    If (tempSwitchingStream) / / if there is

    {

    NS. Attach (tempSwitchingStream);  Subscribe to my net workflow to receive data from tempSwitchingStream

    NS. Publish (livestream, "live");  now flows net is get data from tempSwitchingStream, so publishing those data with the name "livestream" on the connection to the network... NET already know its NetConnection... See above

    }

    Did you get the point? I created a temporary stream that can pass the stream in its method of game and then I push this temporary stream to a remote server...

    However, it is tricky... Majorly, in most cases similar to yours, people write applications on the application of remote server to get the stream and he spend the pull in play method as described in the first method discussed...
