Play an Edge object

Hello

I create my own Web site.

Question: How can I make an Egde Adobe object to the top game, but only when to touch the hand of the mouse?

Thank you!

You must add this interactivity in the edge itself, rather than in the Muse.

You can create a transparent border rectangle and place it on top of your animation with a click event that would engage playback of the animation.

Hope that helps.

See you soon,.

  • How can I get video mp4 for playing the edge animate .oam on page Muse?

    Ok.  I'm pulling my hair out here...

    I am just placing a file of .oam edge animate with video on a page of Muse. The .oam contains a simple icon (that grows and shrinks slightly in a loop to draw attention) that, when clicked (event "on click") made a video .mp4 appear and start playing. Then the video disappears at the end, leaving the new icon (no controls - it just plays and goes when it's done).

    The animation/video playback works fine in edge animate and animate preview of edge browser but when I place the .oam file in my page of muse, the video does not play. I tried the same file without the event 'on click' where the video plays essentially on its own after a second aboard animate and edge Preview in the browser and even once, it does not read in Muse.

    It's embarrassing and I don't know how to solve the problem.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? My .oam file contains a .mp4 file a.webm file, although this will be part of a stand-alone Museum Kiosk and therefore does not need compatibility .webm.

    I'd appreciate any suggestions really.

    I thank very you much in advance!

    HA!

    Doggone it! Somehow, I knew that it would work very well for someone else. This seems to be how these things go, isn't it? Exciting video, huh?

    In any case, I use Safari. I tried the image displayed in preview in the preview of the Muse and then tried in "Preview in browser" and it did not work for me. I just downloaded Chrome and will try to image previewed in there. Perhaps that will work.

    Holy crap!  I literally just released the entire HTML for the site of the Muse and opened it in Safari from there and it worked like a champ!  A problem with the perhaps "Preview in browser"?

    Well, color me happy! Perplexed but happy!

  • Is it possible to get a video to play behind an object?

    Hi all

    What I really want to do, it's video look as it is started from a non-rectangular and elliptical framework. Is there a way I can place video as usual in InDesign and place an object with an elipse cut out of it, the same color as the background so it seems that playing a circular video. Of course, once the video is activated, it keeps jumping forward. Is there a way to keep him behind the object? Or y at - it an easier way to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

    You can create a dummy MSO framework that remains on top of the video to AutoPlay. There is a 'Masking Videos' item in the application of the advice of DPS.

  • can images with transparency display edge art object - what I'm doing wrong, how it be fixed

    Hello

    With the help of MUSE CC 2014

    I need to place images photoshop text (with transparency) on a full screen slide show but I'm artifacts edge around the inscription which looks like, well frankly, horrible. I do not remember previous versions of MUSE is quite as bad as this, I'm doing something wrong? Is there a trick to overcome these ugly artifacts?

    PSD images are either imported SS

    Thank you very much in advance for any help.

    Hi Vikas

    I was falling a pds on the scene file. No other layers as transparent image and bg. I was reducing the image down in the Muse that I discovered exaggerates the visibility of image edge objects. After a little reading, it appears that there is a known issue with Adobe Muse, something to do with the algorithms that muse use images nationwide. I also think that the color of the layer has contributed a bit to the effect also.

    Problem solved when I gave up the way of the PSD and rather any SS as a PNG image.

  • Animation of an object trigger onboard animate while scrolling

    Hello

    First of all, I appreciate your help.

    In fact, I have a HTML element with some Edge objects animate inserted using Dreamweaver CS6. I would like to be able to trigger this edge animations animate when the graphics appear on the screen after scrolling the page. I guess I can do it with JavaScript, but I can't figure out how.

    Do you know how I can achieve this? The HTML page is full of animated graphic with Edge, the one after that the other, and each is expected to play when it is displayed on the screen.

    Here's the line of code that load the Edge object to animate:

    "< figure class ="biomarcadores"> < object id ="EdgeID"type =" text/html"width ="677"height ="470"widget-dw-data ="Edge"data="edgeanimate_assets/Assets/bio_graph5.html "> < / object > <-figure >

    Once again, thank you for your help.

    Best regards

    Alex

    Yes, I did. Actually, a few days after the publication here Raymond Camden posted an article in his blog about delaying an edge asset animate up to this that visible.

    In my case, its solution cause a problem because I had more than one animation to trigger on a page. So I started a discussion with him, which helped me to solve the problem and make animations play just at the time when they were in the display window.

    The link to his post is the http://www.raymondcamden.com/index.cfm/2013/4/3/Delaying-an-Edge-Animate-asset-until-visib

    Just be aware of the names of the objects in your animations in case you have more than one on a page too. If objects of different animations have the same names, animations will work as expected. I set this give a unique name to each object animation / id.

  • Data members of the object to contain LabVIEW - classes will not object accessors in CSC

    I found this weird bug with LabVIEW 2013.  I create a class that has objects as data members and I'm not able to enter in the CSC.  I can do it manually via the GUI of Perforce, but it's kind of a pain.  Here are some photos to show what I mean

    Here's a generic VI I can add

    Here's the accessors that I can't add

    Accessors that are standard labview data types (strings, tables, figures, etc.) are fine, but it does not play well with objects.  Has anyone else encountered this?

    Could this be a problem of name?

    Can see that you name as the vi name.lvclass.vi

    Have you tried to remove the name of the vi .lvclass?

  • "Jump" to a specific slide in adobe captivate with edge animate.

    I want to "jump" to a specific slide in adobe captivate using interactions created in a file hosted from edge. Is someone able to help me with the javascript code needed to do this?

    So I don't know what was going on in April which did not possible but now 9 Captivate at least you can below to communicate a slide jump in Cape Town from the edge.

    I have an Edge file with a unique symbol to this topic called edgeButton which is just a simple rectangle with text on the subject. On the click to edgeButton event, I added the following script:

    window.parent.postMessage ('2', ' * ');

    Where the '2' is the second slide in a Captivate project. Here's a visual aid on board for the game to the top:

    On the side of the course of things, I set up a simple empty project with two slides on it and have disabled the PlayBar. On the first slide, I imported the OAM Edge file from above and on the second slide are just a simple text caption so that you know you have arrived at this slide after clicking on the "Click me" button in the animation of embedded edge. Here is a visual aid for the CAP put in place:

    Notice that there is a progress of the Actions run on the onEnter of the master slide. This is what looks like this Action:

    First, we add a Pause action so that the project does not automatically. Then we add a Javascript action to perform on the window 'active'. The script in the window Javascript crap is:

    window.addEventListener ("message", slideJump);

    function slideJump (event) {}

    Console.log (Event.Data);

    window.cpAPIInterface.gotoSlide (event.data);

    }

    If you use IE, change the first line of window.attachEvent ("onmessage", slideJump);

    What we have done here is connect Edge (that Cap incorporates in an iframe) with Cap using the postMessage function that allows document windows communicate with each other. Since the Edge object is inside the DOM of the CAP, the script of edge must publish its message to its parent window, which is the Cap document window. Add the listener for the event message to Cap on its current context of window and after receiving the message that we call the function slideJump and suss out the string that was sent to the wire using event.data, which in this case will be "2."

    We record the value in the console

    Console.log (Event.Data);

    just for sanity check our channel, then pass the string to the common JS Cape API interface

    window.cpAPIInterface.gotoSlide (event.data);

    the Cap project going to slide #2.

    If you're curious, here's a Stack Overflow write to postMessage . Communication between edge and Cap can work in two ways via postMessage, btw. Here is an example where we do something similar, except that we control an animation of edge of assets to Captivate with postMessage.

    I know that this response is a few months late to the party, but if all goes well it helps or helps someone else who might be looking for a response to a similar problem.

  • Load and control external HTML within edge?

    Precede the things, I am above all a Flash animator - I can work my way around Action Script, but because the swf files are on the outs, I started playing with edge animate and HTML5 in general...

    Let's say I want to use the edge to allow users to control an animated character. Now, in Flash, I'd create just a nested timeline-we'll call it him McFlashy - like this:

    • 1-50 of executives is a period of 'pending', supposed to loop in the meantime for users press a button;
    • executives McFlashy 50-100 jumps then returns to frame 1;
    • frames 100-200 McFlashy vague and said "Hello!" The SWF file is dead! ' and return to frame 1;

    So I just put buttons (IE JUMP_btn and SPEAK_btn) on the scene with '. gotoandPlay.McFlashy_mc("jump") feature. Pretty simple stuff. Now, I want to recreate it on board animate...

    I used CreateJS to export the animation as a file HTML (McFlashy.html). What is the next step?

    • How can I tell Edge to load the McFlashy.html in the main file created by Edge?
    • Can I control WHERE the McFlashy.html appears on the scene?
    • How can I get the dashboard buttons control the file McFlashy.html as I mentioned earlier?
    • Is there a better way to do so than what I'm looking for?
      • Suppose that I have to use Edge.
      • I can't import a PNG sequence or same Sprite sheet in front could be better, but unltimately, I need control of the long and complicated animations that have audio like this, so PNGs and Sprites aren't the best option (I guess)

    Thank you SO much for anyone who takes the time - I feel pretty lost here

    Hi, FuzzyDrawings-

    First of all, welcome!

    A couple things to note here.

    • Exports of CreateJS in the HTML canvas tag that Animate does not interact with.  Animate will be useful if you want to re-create your animations natively.
    • You can control where McFlashy.html appears on the scene
    • About interactivity, you should probably watch the lesson 'Extend' in the application (when you first launch Animate, click "Getting Started" and then "extend").  You can certainly do animation scenario using Animate, but the biggest thing you have to remember is that you do not work in keyframes, you work in milliseconds

    I suggest you play with Animate first and then think about what you want to accomplish with your animation.  The approach can be substantially different from what you are used to in Flash.

    I hope that points you in the right direction!

  • 'Play' button

    I have a problem with my button "play".

    Object (_root).button23.onRelease = function()

    {

    Object (_root).button23._parent.nextFrame ();

    Play();

    };

    I thought that it would work, but eventually he skip a bunch of images and pressing again, just repeat the last bunch of images.

    Untitled.png

    Each one in the upper layer the selected is the code that was pasted on top. The button's alpha to 0% on executives, I don't want it to appear.

    I don't know why it won't continue to play.

    Where is this code to the main timeline (_root)?  Where is button23 compared to the main timeline (_root)?

    The following line does not seem fair...

    Object (_root).button23._parent.nextFrame ();

    The button23 _parent would be what you aim as Object (_root)

    You should be able to write that as

    _root.nextFrame ();

  • How to "hack" my Edge Animation for IE8 / IE7?

    I know: animate Adobe Edge is made to mdoern browsers. But I do a full page document on board, Animation (lemonade known all over the world...). About 10% use Internet Explorer 8, less IE 7.

    I know: ist there is the option in the settings to give lte IE9 users a cry to install the Chrome Frame Plugin to publication. But seriously: this isn't a solution (no one installs a plugin just to see a site. most users cannot install due to rights at work).

    So I do my edge onepager animate final also work in IE 8. For this, I found that I can change this file:

    myProject_edgePreload.js

    There is a function:

    function isCapable(){
              if(hasTransform){
                        if(requiresSVG&&!hasSVG)return!1;
                                  return!0
                        }return!1
              }

    If I change (ugly, I know), Internet Explorer loads the animation (instead of the scene for older browsers):

    function isCapable(){
              return 1;
              if(hasTransform){
                        if(requiresSVG&&!hasSVG)return!1;
                                  return!0
                        }return!1
              }

    But then I tried to include PIE.js and modernizr.js for almost the next step animation works in IE 8. (a) I tried shopping scripts with a conditional tag of IE into the head of the HTML file. Not worked. And (b) I tried to load via yepnope like this:

    yepnope({
        nope : ['iefix/PIE.js']
              , complete: fireup
    });

    function fireup(){
                           if (window.PIE) {
            $('.ie').each(function() {
                PIE.attach(this);
            });
        }
    }

    But this has also not worked.

    Expensive stuff guys: I know, this is not the right way in your plans to animate dashboard. But I'd REALLY like to have a version running in IE 8 instead of a dull placeholder. Can someone help me, please?

    Hi, dworni-

    You managed to catch us as our development team was on vacation.

    Unfortunately, IE8 doesn't support some of the CSS that rely us on to play projects edge animate in IE8, so try to work around it so that you can play them may not give you the result desired.  The compromise that we had to animate its current feature set while always supporting IE8 was, as you said in your original post, using the chrome framework.

    That being said, you might want to try hacking in your JS files in your project compositionReady instead of in the header of the project to see if it works at all.  As you probably well know, you are in unexplored territory and completely taken over here... (thar be dragons)

    Good luck!

  • Failed to create a simple 3D object

    Hello!

    Recently I bought Photoshop CS4 exodus, and I've been enjoying it a lot, since I'm 3 elements. I was (trying to) play with 3D objects, and they are really cool. But that's just the problem. I can't figured out how to create an object 3D again. When I create a new canvas, the 3D menu is grayed out. I've done it before, but I don't see what I did differently. Could you please help?

    Thank you.

    Eli

    Check if opengl is always checked. Edition, preferences, settings of GPU. Even with a blank canvas, there is 3D options. All, but not certain.

    If you have a JPG file (for example) open then switch to 3D, new shape layer and you can see a few basic shapes.

  • Error() MediaPlayer does not?

    Hey gang,

    I am trying to connect the error() signal in the MediaPlayer to a location private in a custom class.  The code is:

    connect(&m_player, SIGNAL(error(bb::multimedia::MediaError::Type, unsigned int)), this, SLOT(onPlaybackError(bb::multimedia::MediaError::Type, unsigned int)));

    and the slot is:

    void Job::onPlaybackError(bb::multimedia::MediaError::Type mediaError, unsigned int position) {
        qDebug() << "Job::onPlaybackError(), mediaError: " << mediaError << ", and position: " << position;
        emit finished(m_taskName, 256);
    }

    I can see in the console there is an error if there is no such thing as the mp3 that I'm playing, but my slot onPlaybackError() is never called.  the application compiles and works very well, but the slot never fires.

    I have an another slot defined that I connect to the playbackCompleted() signal in the MediaPlayer, and it works perfectly... Really there is not much difference between the two that I see.  both are defined as private in the header file locations.  that is to say:

    private slots:
        void onPlaybackCompleted();
        void onPlaybackError(bb::multimedia::MediaError::Type, unsigned int);

    no idea why we could work and the other is not?

    Thank you!

    J

    Yes, that would be my next suggestion. 'File not found' is not really an error in media, more like a system I/O problem, so maybe as you say that's not pulled the signal of error on MediaPlayer. I expected MediaError.SourceUnavailable to be triggered, but the docs do not provide a lot of details on this one. Maybe you need to use QFile to confirm the existence of the MP3 before submitting it again to MediaPlayer.

    oddboy wrote:

    Hello

    I tried Q_ASSERT (result) on the connect line that bothers me, and the app does not end.

    I also print the qDebug() 'Result' variable.  Here is what says the console:

    ############# Q_ASSERT(result) is  true

    And yet, the signal never fires.  I'm starting to wonder if error() signal is not pulled for the problem that I'm trying to catch - which is actually an mp3 player that does not exist.

    My test is simple:

    create a MediaPlayer

    Set the source to a mp3 player that exists

    Play() sound

    result = everything is ok

    Rename the mp3 and try to play the sound

    result = sound is not played, but MediaPlayer::error() does not.

    My onPlaybackError () handler is quite simple...

    void Job::onPlaybackError(bb::multimedia::MediaError::Type mediaError, unsigned int position) {
        qDebug() << "Job::onPlaybackError(), mediaError: " << mediaError << ", and position: " << position;
    }

  • How can I fix error: access violationat 0x004791C6 (tried to read from 0x0000003C), has been abolished.

    I like to play hidden object games. I downloaded recently one and when I try to play it will open to the play screen and the bar downstairs filled completely because it loads, but is that it works.

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    2 - is a game online or offline game?

    3. is it limited only while playing the hidden object game?

    4. what version of IE are you using?

    Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Clean boot will check if any third-party application is causing the problem, as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
    Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, perform step 7 measures: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 2:

    Right click on the shortcut or .exe for the game and select the option "Run As Administrator" and check if you are able to play.

    Note: If you use Internet Explorer to play online so I suggest you to consult the following Microsoft article and check if that helps.
