Hello
Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.I hope this helps.

The extension Flac is not a type of supported Windows Media Player file. However, you can user your favorite search engine to search for a solution that can convert the file in a supported file type Windows Media Player.

Cannot play a DVD in Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 12
I checked the other forum questions and answers, but my problem seems to be slightly different.
I made a family DVD about a month ago using Pinnacle Studio 11. When my computer laptop (Dell Inspiron 1720) had Vista Home Premium installed. I tested the DVD ended up on five different DVD players (Sony, Panasonic, etc) and in all cases, the picture and sound were good.
I installed Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 12 worm a week ago, and now when I play my DVD on my laptop nothing happens - just a black screen. No error message and of course no picture and no sound. Commercial DVDs play fine. There is no other monitors connected to my computer which has been also dotted with specifically for the work of video editing. The DVD was made in the same area he plays, so it can't be the problem.
Anyone have any ideas as to what I can try. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Help!
Hello
- What version of Windows are you using?
1. it is possible that you are missing the codec to play the file or it is clashing with other codec files.
2. the link provided below lists supported by Windows Media Player file format.
It does not list the AVCHD or. MTS files supported file format directly:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/3169923. yet we cannot be sure at this point that the issue is due to interference with some files.
Method 1:
Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.
Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-system-restore
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questionsMethod 2:
You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On thefile tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections. Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.
If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.
You can check the link for assistance on the issue - belowhttp://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/codecs-frequently-asked-questions

Problem with Windows Media Player Audio sync DivX playback in full screen
Hello
I have found lately that when playing videos on Windows Media Player divx mode full screen audio is out of sync. If the video is played in window mode, there is no problem. I had no such problem in the past, but now for about 1 month or so, I have this problem.
I have fitted iq508a to vista 64-bit, with the latest drivers delivered HP installed (using the HP update utility)-does anyone else have this same problem too?
Thanks in advance

While watching the Pineapple Express, I thought WTF I'll take another closer look at this, and while they were smashimg their cell phones so that they could not be found by triangulation, (don't ask - u just I have to watch - stoner movie )...
in any case, I looked under tools options in WMP. I unchecked the option on the performance tab "use video smoothing"-the video as reloaded and bingo! everything in harmony!
BTW, I checked my another PC running Vista 32 bit and the option ' use video smoothing ' also exists and it is checked if this seems to be a problem with WMP works on Vista 64 bit or running desktop Touchsmart of WMP... In case I am much happier now... -

I recently updated my Player multimedia media Player 11 and now it won't play movies from AVI file that I used to be able to play easily on the outdated version. Why is this?Hello
Do you have an error message when you try to play with Media Player AVI files?
