    Hello Teo1569.

I suggest you play the games in your native screen resolution 1366 x 768.  If you must use lower resolutions for performance and that you want to fill the screen, you will need to check with the documentation for your computer on how to fill the screen, this isn't something run by Windows, but rather the view and as such all computers are different.  Most of the screens usually have parameters like the Stretch, appearance or Fill.

    Hello

If you would please provide details on the game you play?  Also, have you tried to hit F11 and attempt to place the game in Mode full-screen.  In addition, check with the OEM of the game to check if there was an options in the game to use Mode full screen.  I hope that this information is beneficial.

  • When I was playing the game and my 3D PC show the black screen and the sound of noise.

    Hi Admin,
When I was playing the game and my 3D PC show the black screen and the sound of noise. And then I can't move anything and I can restart only. What is this problem? I don't know why? Please help me what should I do.
My PC specs are as follows

Aspire M5800 (Q84MR375) Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium, 64-bit, Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q8400 (2.66 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, bus front at 1333 MHz), 3 GB Ram, 750 GB S - ATA HDD, DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive, Nvidia GeForce GT220 graphics (1 GB dedicated RAM) card, Wireless LAN, keyboard and wireless mouse with LCD 23 '' monitor.

    phoechan,
More than likely if this started after you upgrade to Windows7 then you might have to update your hardware drivers.  Go to the websites of the manufacturers of hardware for your PC and get all the latest drivers for Windows 7 (video, sound, chipset, etc...).  If they don't have Windows 7 drivers you may have questions until they create them.  You can also try to boot your PC and also right click on the game .exe file and change the compatibility mode to Vista or XP.

  • Black screen when playing the games

I play several different types of games on my computer and just recently, I noticed that when I attempet to Alt + Tab to go to my office or a different window, I get stuck in a black screen with only the mouse showing sometimes. This came only in the last week and went with all the games that I played. I managed to make Ctrl + Alt + Delete but can only solve by making the system to reboot. All playing the games themselves, I don't encounter any problem, but only when I try to go to a different window that already passed.

    Help?

Well, nothing has really changed, you can try the system restore and restore a week ago and see if it solves your problem.

  • After playing the game the Sims 2, impossible to shut down the computer, get black screen

    Hi all

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I recently installed the Sims 2 DVD Edition. The game itself works very well. He's not planting or lag or cause my computer is turned off. I can walk much and create characters; what I noticed is that some of the sound effects play, which is minimal.
However, after playing the game and I'm going to shut my computer down, the screen just goes black and the computer stays on. The processor will run nothing will work. The computer just stays, but the screen remains black. He doesn't even go to the "shutting down" screen or anything. Straight black. I let it stay like that for 15 minutes just to see if maybe, it was just to take some time, but the computer still shuts.
It normally stops if I do not play Sims 2.
Original title: Sims 2 causing my computer does not shut down properly?
I think I have Directx 11, because when I installed my graphics (ATI Raedon 7770) it updated automatically to that. I play other games like Skyrim here, which does not cause this weird close the thing. I installed the patch from EA Games for the game itself, as well.
Help would be appreciated, because I'd really like to be able to play Sims 2! If one of the expansion packs resolves that it be so. Anything to solve this problem!
    Thank you.

    Hello

According to the Windows Compatibility Center, the Sims 2 game is not compatible with Windows 7.

  • Get games running full screen on Windows 7

Last week, I bought this new Toshiba satellite laptop. It has Windows 7. None of my games will run full-screen. I've never had any problem with them my other computers or XP or Vista systems.

    I have W7 Home Premium.

I'm just sick of trying to understand this. The only solution after it is simply to return the new laptop and buy a used one that works on Xp or Vista.

If there is someone who could help me, I would be eternally grateful. I am so angry with this. I am the owner of a gambling site and none of my games 33 will now work with the Windows 7 program.

Thanks in advance for your time, and I really really appreciate your time and your help.

    Hi Tmiller2008,

What are the games you play?

Are you trying to play the games online in mode full screen?

If you download the games and install them on the computer, you can try to do it in compatibility mode and check if it helps to play games using the full screen.

Make older programs in this version of Windows

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

Also, if you are these online games and you use Internet Explorer as your web browser you try to use compatibility view as some of the ancient sites are not compatible with Windows 7.

Why some sites Web not displayed correctly in Internet Explorer?

  • Not able to play the game Metro 2033 on Windows Vista-based computer.

I just installed the game Metro 2033 on my Vista system that uses a 1080 screen.  In fact, I have two identical screens.

The game requires activation Steam and Steam normally will attempt to update the program rather than simply enable it during installation.  This leaves a person in the dark as to what happens during the installation.

It turns out, I use a 3G modem that Steam refuses to support their network of Bit Torrent, so download speed for an update of a concert is around 12 kb/s or 8 hours to make the point on a program that has not yet installed.

After work, I was quite surprised to find that the program would not go on Steam.  He then took a few hours to find out that there is a solution, that I could load the game by running the executable file that had been installed in the directory Steam for Metro 2033.

Unfortunately Metro2033, when started this default way a unknown screen resolution.  Thus when the game is started from the Steam directory nested, one gets a message "out of range" on the display of 1080 and nothing can be seen.

Short of launching the game out, I tried the game again, to my great joy, the second run displays a safe mode issue and I ran it in safe mode.  It is quite an exciting game and I played it all night.  However, I had also contacted support original THQ regarding installation problem/solution.

Then I fell asleep.  The PC was on.

The next day, I played the 2003 Metro game again, but I entered in some difficult areas of the game, and I had to reload the saved game.  After awhile, I opted to exit the program.  Later, I started the program, but this time I inadvertently clicked on the Metro2033 icon who had installed Steam.   In my solution, I had pasted a link to the directory of Steam under the original icon and had pressed the wrong button.

Of course, the first thing I saw, after playing the game for 12 hours, was "out of range".  I opted to return to the office...

... However I couldn't come back on the Vista desktop.  I have a 7000, and even Microsoft Entertainment keyboard by pressing the buttons of Windows or Media center wouldn't let me come back to the office.

The day before, I needed to do this that I've experienced to workaround to start getting and I noticed that the only way I could get on the desktop to run the Task Manager to kill the out of range on my screen message has been to press the Media Center button.

Once the Media Center menu on breaking the subway 2003 menu I could then enter the office and use the Task Manager.

However, the next day when I inadvertently started the STEAM version, and again, the screen is become black and says 'Out of Range', I found that my system was stuck in this loop.  No way to get in the Manager of tasks at all, not even with the Media center button on my keyboard.

Now the background of my question.  When I was forced to start my system again, I noticed the normal BIOS screen and the bar of Vista with Vista is loading, then the familiar sound of Vista boot, but now NO SCREEN at all on startup!  Now, something had inserted a driver in my Vista start which forced my display say "Out of Range" from the start of the desktop of Vista and Vista computer has not yet noticed this.  Normally, I would think that they claim that the screen resolution is wrong and put it on, instead, nothing else than the out of range message rigid or flexible boots.

Original title: can someone tell me what happened here? Metro2033 and steam game.

I checked by plugging my second monitor.   The system has Safe Mode startup and I was able to do a restore of the system from the previous day to evening to return to the office.   However, I am quite confused as to what happened.  How the Metro 2033 problem "out of range" migrate to Windows startup by running an update of Steam?

I use the latest service pack for Vista.

It seems that the STEAM snuck in an update and then everything worked fine.

  • Start a game in full screen on two monitors

So, recently, I got a new monitor and I tried to run a game in full screen on the primary and another thing on the second. However, when I click on the full screen on the second monitor, it minimizes the game, EVE Online. is there a workaround for this other then put the game in windowed mode.

    I use a (e):
    ATI 5000 video card
    AMD Phenom II x 4 945
    8 GB Ram
    Win 7 x 64

    Usually not.

Most of the Games capture the mouse when it is full screen, a click of the mouse on the outside will minimize.  There are a few games now supporting mode without a border, so they can watch full screen but are not actually around this problem.

  • Why my computer displays a white screen when I try to see a game mode full screen?

whenever I try to view a game in full screen, my screen becomes white

    Salvation of the knee-c,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. Are you experiencing a similar problem with several games on the computer?
    3. When was the last time it was working fine?
    4. You receive an error message?
    5. You have security software installed on the computer?

    Method 1

I suggest that reduce you the hardware acceleration on your computer and check if it helps.

    (a) click Start, click Run, type desk.cpl, and then click OK.

    (b) click on the settings tab and then click Advanced.

    (c) in the performance tab or on the Troubleshooting tab, and then move the Hardware Acceleration slider to the left.

    (d) click OKand then click close.

    (e) If you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.

     Method 2

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that you manually download and install the updated on the computer graphics card drivers by visiting the adapter or the computer manufacturer's website and check, if it helps.
