Player will not be installed - no error message

Current problem is (full explanation at the end), Adobe Reader isn't on my computer (Win 7 Ultimate).  I downloaded it from the Adobe web site.  He went through the installation process it is apparently normally and when the bar reached it's full and reading 100% niche fell out of the screen and nothing else happened.  AR did not appear at the time to choose the option 'Open with' when right click on a pdf file.  Research in Control Panel of configuration/programs and features, it is not listed as an installed program.  I retried the installation several times with several browsers (by suggestion of Adobe).  Help please!

What got me to this point: a couple of weeks, I had an unrelated problem and had to go back to a previous restore point.  Everything worked fine except that I started to have problems with AR.  The program would not start.  I got the error message "Failed to load Acrobat it's Core DLL".  I tried to reinstall with no improvement.  I thought that maybe uninstall AR and do a fresh install may do the trick.  The uninstall went well, but now I can't reinstall.  Once again, he appeared to reinstall OK with no error message but the program is not there.  Suggestions please.

The OP may only mark the topic as 'responded' (or 'resolved'), which would indeed be useful.

  • Single video will not play, gives the error message

I'm kinda a lack of time here, we are publishing our magazine Tuesday and our video coverage does not work. An error on pageload, "error the operation failed." All other videos in the magazine are working fine, I converted them all exactly the same way.

I use FInal Cut Pro to edit the file in an .mp4 file, just like I have with all the other videos of the question, but for some reason, does not have this particular .mp4 file.

Playback of the video converted on the computer in VLC and quicktime and all other programs I have on my computer that could possibly play a video, it does everything just when getting to the file .folio DPS.

It is converted to the format .mp4 h.264, like all the other videos that work very well.

    Any thoughts?

Hey Bob! We shot the video in Adobe Media Encoder and our problems have been resolved. Thank you!!

Don't worry; This is a very interesting problem, and I hope we can solve it finally.  But I wonder how the registry permissions can get corrupted like that.  It is rare to Adobe Reader; I see a lot more often with Flash Player.

I did another script; See attachment.  This script will first set the owner to administrators, then use reg.exe to delete this annoying AcroRD32.exe key and all its subkeys.  I didn't test this script, as I am not on a system that has Adobe Reader installed right now, then I invite you to make an another System Restore Point before you run it.

The method is the same as before; Check out the BAT to C:\Program Files (x 86) file \Windows Resource Kits\Tools and run it.

PS the news not too bad, but something I can resolve only by personal appearance.  I would not otherwise go to anywhere in Europe in the middle of winter...

You may need the flash player to read these file types, or you may need to update your plugins.

Please check if all your plugins are up to date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.

Once you are there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions.
If you see in the list of plugins that have a yellow button to update or a red button update now , please put to update these immediately.

To do this, click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps in the installation process.

  • OSX Yosemite - Flash Player will not even install - tried everything (I think!)

I've tried everything. I have a new MacBook Pro with Yosemite 10.10

Please, someone help. All with the video seems to use it. I had this problem for the both Safari AND Firefox.

Great, glad you were able to get running.  Usually when you see this, it's a third-party virus scanner - usually a release or off-brand a - which is to stop the installation program.  If you want to help us improve Setup online, newspapers would be useful.  Otherwise, we keep links updated for offline installation programs displayed on the installation troubleshooting guide.

    Hello

    Method 1:

You can check if the windows service install is present under services and check if the service is set to automatic. You can follow the procedure.

    (a) click Start.

    (b) type services.msc in start search.

    (c) search the Windows Installer Service and click on select Start.

    (d) on the general tab, next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.

I also suggest you to see the steps and check.

Unregister and register the Windows Setup program again

    1. click on Start, click run, type MSIEXEC /Unregister. and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing is happening.

    2. click on Start, click run, type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER, and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing happens, or you can briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

Try your application based on Windows Installer again.

    Method 2:

I also you suggest to perform the clean boot, and then try to download.
