  iTunes has started to create playlists duplicates when I sync with my iPod Touch 5th generation and does not sync songs to the iPod.

  The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

  Unfortunately the synchronization is not a backup service. It uses a central server to synchronize data between devices, but these data are not maintained if it is not maintained locally (i.e. in your computer).

  Having said that, sometimes if the reconfiguration is fast data can always be on the server.

  Well, my problem was similar but different too. The method to uninstall the modem device is correct. I tried, but still it did not work.
  My problem was that I have 3 different modems installed on my pc, but I used one of them. So I would uninstall only one I used. It turns out that we have to uninstall all modems. Its pretty simple, but its not so obvious. I thought about it later in like 2 days. I hope that people reading this don't have to wait 2 days to fix this problem.
