Playlists: Combining songs from different readers

Hi, I have a rocket containing songs on the hard drive of the player and also an SDHC card attached. Is there a way I can create a playlist that blends songs located on the disk hard drive and SDHC card? It would seem to imply by specifying a full path to the songs including some sort of drive letter, but I don't know anyway to refer readers to the rocket. Is it possible to do this? I don't want to change the location of the songs, for example by putting them all on the SD card - I'm looking for a way to playlist songs from different places. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance...

I use playlists, but there is a program, YAPL, claiming to do what you want in MSC mode, assuming that this is the way your music has been placed on the "rocket". (Settings system/settings/USB Mode).

http://forums.SanDisk.com/T5/Sansa-fuze/YAPL-0-3-released/m-p/122864/highlight/true#M26898

If your music passed in MTP mode, see if Windows Media Player will make the playlists that you want.

Winamp is also a manufacturer of playlist - I believe in MSC mode.

  • Deletion of albums of my iTunes library also removes the songs from these albums of my playlists

Hello! I wonder if there is a way to delete albums of my iTunes library without removing songs from these albums of my playlists.

I take my playlists seriously enough (because I know others do too) and would not that they be tampered with. The songs I have in them that I'm here for a reason and a lot of these songs are single whole albums I've saved in my iTunes library. I just recently the desire to clean my library because he got rather crowded with reckless decisions, but I can't do it until I have a solution. I'm glad that I remembered that this might affect my playlists before any serious damage was done.

I still have to find a question like this or a setting that would allow me to do. Please help me if you have an idea of how to go on this subject! Thank you very much in advance

No, you cannot delete an album on iTunes and at the same time not delete tracks. You could potentially change the details of the track so that less albums appear in the library, but I'm reluctant to even suggest that he. Data are always more easily thrown only recovered later.

  • How to remove a song from my library, but not from the playlist?

    Hello

I know this question has been asked before. But as far as I don't know in conjunction with Apple music.

Since there is a way in music from Apple to add a song only to a playlist, not the library, I was wondering if there is a way to remove a song from my library and not from the playlist?

    Is it possible to do?

All the songs on playlists and in my library are Apple music.

I tried to export a playlist in XML format, and then deleting the songs in my library, and then import the XML file.

Unfortunately this does not work because iTunes can't find the songs in Apple's music even though he had only songs from Apple's music in the playlist before.

I'd hate to have to create all my playlists once more just to empty my library.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Remove songs from Playlist only

I am on my PC using Windows 10 a 12.3.3.17 iTunes

I'm trying to delete a song to my playlist only.

No matter what I try, it's still there. I clicked on the title and click on delete and nothing happens.  If I click on the three dots next to the title of the song and choose "Remove from my library" he says that the song will be hidden from iTunes purchases.  I don't want to remove it from the entire library of music, just my playlist.  And I've checked and double-checked to make sure I'm on my specified playlist.

I'm sure this is a simple solution, but I just don't get it tonight.

    Thanks in advance.

I suspect that you see a reading list smart ("gear" icon in the sidebar) or playlist folder.  In the first case, you modify the content of a selection by changing its membership rules; in the second, you will need to select a regular playlist (icon "music notes") contained in the folder.  Have you subscribed to Apple music and/or iTunes game?  I don't see an option 'Remove my library' when clicking on the selection button next to a song name - just "Delete" (which will always trigger the process to remove the song from the library, not to remove it in a playlist).

  • How can I remove songs from playlist without deleting the library?

I have the song in the playlist right click and you click on delete, then the song just completely deleted my iTunes library. But I want only to remove it from my reading list. How can I remove songs from playlist without deleting the library?

Highlight the track, press the delete key. If it still removes the track completely from the library, then at some point in the past you must tell it to do things like that.   iTunes prefs > advanced > reset all warnings of the dialog box. - https://discussions.apple.com/message/23987276

  • Ability to move songs from one playlist to another

I want to spend the songs in a playlist to another. It seems, that you can´t move the songs, but you can add them to other playlists. After that, I have to remove it from the previous list.

It is extra work that can be avoided, if "move" menu will be executed in ITunes. "

I'm not the first person who wants the same thing. See, for example move the songs in a playlist to another, -playlist-to-another-on-iPad/td-p/120348 https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-iOS-iPhone-iPad/How-to-move-songs-from-one

    I am running Windows, ITunes 12.3.2.35 64-bit

Yet another candidate for iTunes comments. That said if you have done the selection and used the right click Add to Playlist option is really so difficult to then click on remove, while the tracks are always selected in the original list?

You CAN open the file *.wpl with a text editor. You can (or cannot) be successful
by making a change to the paths you will find in these files.

  • How can I get my playlists of music from the list by song title?

I do not know. On a phone, you do not use iTunes (this forum), only on a computer.

  • Songs from the album split into separate albums/artists, even with the same name

I have three songs from the album, all by the same artist, but for a reason, that they aren't bringing together under the same album or artist on iTunes. All the songs are listed separately under different artists even if the name of the artist (and album) is exactly the same:

The same artist and album has duplicated only three times.

I made sure all the info of the song are exactly the same as here:

And sorting is the same too:

So I don't know what else to do.

If you see unexpected songs groups when you browse an album - https://support.apple.com/HT204538 - 'songs from the same album may not be grouped as expected when you view them in display Albums in iTunes."

The following sections provide additional solutions.

Quick response: select all the tracks on the album, file > info (or right-click > news > Details) and give them all a single "album artist", or check the indicator of "compilation" (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085#17670085).

If they are several CD sets, you will also need to enter the appropriate information in the fields of number of disk.  If they are not a set of multiple CDs that you must always make sure any vacuum or disc number fields are properly defined.

This works often but I had cases where securities combined when a letter has been added but divorced when he was kidnapped again.

If they are mp3 files are trying to change the version of the ID3 tag, which can cause iTunes to re - write the tags and clarify inconsistencies.  I use iTunes 7.5 (Yes, from 2007) so I can't tell you where it is in later versions.

I had a case of grouping stubborn reality.  The tracks will be re-group in a way that has no meaning when I changed metadata.  Without going into details, I deleted tracks iTunes completely, then add the files and they are all grouped together correctly.

  • Playlist problem - songs greyed

    Hello world

I have a problem with Apple's music playlists. It's the same on my iPhone 6s and MacBook Pro with the retina.

When I try to add a song from Apple's music library (I can normally play it in the "Browse" tab), it shows in my playlist as a song unplayable greyed out AND it only happens with some songs.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

    Hi, szymon90!

Thank you for reaching out by communities of Apple Support about some songs in grey in the Apple's music. I love being able to listen to a variety of music through the service and ask to have access to all the music that is available to you; I'd be happy to help you!

There could be a number of reasons that your songs are grayed out, as indicated in the section 'If your songs appear in light gray text' article listed here: status and iCloud library icons

Your songs may appear in iTunes in light gray text for various reasons. These reasons include:

    • You are not connected to iCloud music library. If you see a disconnected icon in the upper right corner of iTunes, you are not connected to iCloud music library. Click the icon to reconnect.
    • The song is not in the Apple music or is not available in your current country. These songs also appear in gray if you look for them in the Apple's music.
    • Restrictions are enabled for explicit titles. Learn more about the Restrictions.
    • An artist or a content provider makes changes or changes to an album. You may need to remove the album from your library and add it up Apple's music catalog.

    Have a great day!

  • Can't delete songs from the iPhone from iTunes 6

    iPhone iOS 6 9.3.2

    iTunes 12.4.1.6

    OSX 10.11.4 El Capitan

I have manually manage music on my iPhone with iTunes.  I used to be able to select an album in iTunes and then drag it to the iPhone to add it to the iPhone.  The only way I can get the albums on my iPhone is now, right-click and select Add to the device.  Also, I used to be able to DELETE the songs off iPhone from iTunes.  Now when I select and right-click on several songs of the devices > iPhone > music section of iTunes, the only option I get is to add to the Playist...  I can't delete songs from my iPhone from iTunes.  Any ideas.  There must be a better way than the manual removal of the iPhone.

When your iPhone is connected to iTunes, check the settings > music section to find something like this:

You can check "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" here instead of 'Library of music together' as I did.

On the iPhone summary page, you can also check a box that says something like "only sync checked items" - or words to that effect.
