Playlists on slotRadio cards

Here is a quote from a page 'slotRadio player to go' on 'shop sandisk': ' includes 7 handcrafted Playlists - 1,000 songs are grouped into 7 handcrafted playlists to suit your style or your mood. "

How were these 'artisanal' playlists, I wonder (m3u playlists, or what they are). If the Player recognizes playlists, I would use this feature.

I would like to know if the 'To Go' player is different somehow from the slotMusic player (other than having a different color plastic cover).

Thank you

I just spoke with technical assistance, and they informed me that the slotMusic Player cannot play cards slotRadio, while the player to go to slotRadio can (even if they look the same).

They also told me that the format of the "artisanal" on maps playlist slotRadio is a secret!  This means that people cannot create their own playlists on a microSD card (unless they guess how it works).

Whatever, I'm not buying one then.

  • Sansa Clip won't play the slotradio card

I have a new Sansa Clip + and buy a slotradio card at Radio Shack yesterday. When I insert the card (Yes, I'm Threading RAS) media refreshes; then I'll SlotRadio, right click, and then he says: "buy 1000 songs to... etc" and then nothing. What can I try?  I think I tried everything.

  • Playlists and data cards, need help.

Is it possible to put a playlist on a memeory card and have this playlist appear in the menu of the music with the internal playlists? I have a v1 e260 as well as a 2 GB card... I made a playlist and tried to put it on the memory card in msc mode. The music is on the map, but not in a playlist. The music is presented as individual albums.

It seems pretty stupid to not be capable of this. I'm not a fan of just drag / drop off willy nilly.

Since you have a player of v1, you can use playlists format .pla and even combine music card and memory in a single playlist if you want to.

The key that you have to remember is:

Go PLA playlists in the PLAYLISTS folder on your drive (not on your map)

Make playlists m3u NOT go in the folder SELECTIONS. This format requires that you put them in the MUSIC folder along with your music. With this format, you must make separate lists for the internal memory and the card. They are not cumulative in a playlist. So, if you create a music .m3u playlist on your map then Yes, you store this list on the map as well.

When you view the playlists menu on your player, if you have a .m3u playlist on your card, it is designated by the small icon to the left of the title playlist showing whether they are on the memory card, just like with the songs.

    I hope this helps.

  • SlotRadio: 1000 DIFFERENT songs?

My card SlotRadio Rock has 7 playlists, but I noticed that some songs are on many reading lists. Which has me wondering... is the "1000 songs" who claimed really 1000 DIFFERENT songs, or just a total of 1000 songs between 7 playlists?

  • Achievement reading random/random with a custom (blank) microSD (SlotRadio Player)

I apologize in advance for asking a noob for my first post question. I read in some other nets and impossible to find exactly what I was looking for and thought I'd post on the device-specific Board.

I bought an ativa 2 GB microSD card to load some of my own music (would have bought a SanDisk card, but none in the store) and used the adapter to connect it to my computer and drag and drop files directly on the map.

I created 5 test records that on the display of the SlotRadio Player, appear as 7 playlists on a preloaded SlotRadio card (1 000 - song). I can navigate through folders to test using the buttons to the left and to the right of the display screen, and the names of file/songs appear in the same format as the playlists/songs of preloaded maps.

However, then the SlotRadio Player seems to play maps preloaded in random shuffle (my preference as well) and the curls after having exhausted all the titles on any given playlist (to keep the atmosphere going), the player will not play my card microSD personally responsible in this way. He will play in the existing order and go to the following folder on the card after have played all titles in the current folder.

Y at - it no coding I can add to an existing file again on the map to read random/random initiate and loops?

The firmware on my SlotRadio Player is 01.01.13A (not the most common, but I'm not sure if this has anything to do with what I described above).

I use WMP to organize my music and first tried to sync to the microSD with this software, but opted for drag - move after realizing the SlotRadio Player treats each file (artist, Album, etc.) as a "reading list". (The same barrier to reading random/random, I ran using a cheapy 1 GB mp3 player in the past.)

Thanks in advance for taking the time to check this.

what you see is by design of the player. In reality, there is no shuffle mode this player. When you use slotradio cards it may seem to play in a random order, but it actually isn't. There are 3 different playlists ordained to each playlist on the map the songs don't play in the same order. Unfortunately, you will not be able to play your personal music randomly as the player it self does not support random playback.

  • Manufacturing of the playlist - e260

I have an E260 v.1 4 GB with a 2GB minisd card.  It is set to MSC usb mode and I want to make the playlists using Winamp 5.  It is the Winamp that works on my pc.  I know to use the files on the drive, not the ones on my pc and winamp playlist must be saved on the drive to the music folder.

My question is, what form should the saved playlist in?  M3U, M3U8 and PLS?  Also, I can make several playlists say some for the song of the player records main (I made several records for various artists) and others for the records of the song on the expansion card.  Are all the playlists that have been parked in the music or they should each go in music / the particular subfolder and how is a repertoire of songs to the expansion card is, my PC sees the card as another letter from removable drive than the sansa player and playlist of the card is also parking in music?

    Thank you.

As long as you have a reader v1 & are in MSC mode, a much easier way to make the palylists is with the free program creator of selections Sanse. Piece of cake!

I use Winamp to create playlists for my e200 series v2 drives and the rocket. It creates a .m3u playlist file that is stored in the MUSIC folder. When you work with a player of v1, .pla's choice playlist format and those stored in the folder SELECTIONS. The Creator program of selections automatically inserts them there.

The nice thing about .pla format lists is that you can combine music from the reader and the card in a single selection. It is easy to do with the creator of selections.

With the format .m3u playlists, the content must come from the source of a memory or the other, not both.

Unfortunately, the playlist Sanse will not work on v2 or Fuze/Clip models.

You will not see the SlotRadio icon unless you have one of the cards inserted. Insofar as buy the Canada, unfortunately many electronic products are harder to find (and more expensive when you do) up here in the great white North. Sorry for that

  • Card SlotRadio is not on rocket +.

Just bought new.  The player "charge" card (Rock) and reports of all "empty" areas (I would even ok with this part).  But he will not play anything off the card, and either returned to another function, or just that it recharges, or sometimes when I hit backarrow, it could detect words (from the ' 80s or ' 90s ') for a second, but then a popup says "unsupported file type", and then it restarts.  I have a bad card, or what?  I had to have a card slotradio +?  What I can do.

I had to update manually, but now the slotRadio plays as announced.   Thanks Bob! for the helpful message.

  • Using (Playlists) SD Card in MSC Mode

    Hello;

In MSC Mode, Clip + and another removable drive to the SD card, as separate drives.  So if I were on a SD card, how would create playlists (m3u) which contain music of these two drives?  When connected to a computer, it is available drive letters; When it is not the case, however, there is no drive letters.  Therefore, I don't see how it can be "seemless" as someone mentioned.  I would use the MTP Mode, but I prefer not to as it is not flexible.

    Any thoughts?

In fact, you have a few questions here that need some explanation:

    1. Playlists m3u will be read & play songs of either of the reader memory internal or card SD, but not both. PLA format playlists is going play songs from two sources of memory. Personally, I use Winamp and MSC mode to create playlists .m3u. Then, I use a conversion program to convert the .m3u playlist a .pla one. This works. There are other means. I tell you, just the way that works for me.
    2. Reading 'Transparent', as has been mentioned here refers to the Clip + (or any player with a slot for SD card Sansa) and the fact that the player creates a database containing the songs of two memory locations using the information in the ID3 tags embedded in the files of the song and when 'Play All' (with or without the shuffle) is selected , will play files regardless of the location of the memory. Playlists are a different story (as explained in #1). The only difference is that if you use the folder view (in the menu music).
    3. MSC mode will allow your computer to see your player that separate the 2 discs, the internal memory and the card slot (if a card is inserted in time or not). Your computer sees your device in MTP mode as a single device requiring 'management' and does not assign a drive letter. You can still access two internal & external memories, but it is a "virtual". Also note that your computer can only see the songs in 1 mode at a time, so it is best to figure out which is best for you depending on how you plan to use the drive and all that transfer you the content in this mode 1.

I am with you and a guy MSC through & through. PSG has its purposes (content DRM such as Rhapsody, etc.) and the fans, but MSC you gives the user much more control and is easier all around.

  • Playlists spanning the internal memory and SD card?

Anyone know how to point to songs on the card or on the internal memory?

I can create a playlist that can access only files on memory in-house so it playlist is kept on the 'rocket' or on the SD card if the playlist is maintained on the SD card.  I can't understand how to have a playlist saved about the ROCKET on the SD card.

I don't need anything fancy... just need to know what path qualifier I put in my path, m3u.

    Thank you

    Cartman

You can also create yourself these .pla playlists. Apparently you just need an empty file "playlistname.pla", and a text file called 'playlistname.pla.refs' that contains a path per line, with the prefix /mmc:0: for the internal memory or /mmc:1: to the memory card. For example

    /MMC:0:/music/somesong.MP3

    /MMC:1:/music/someothersong.MP3

Too much work of the backslashes for the rest of the way, just the first character must be a slash. And the file should BACK line breaks, UNIX line breaks do not work.

  • Playlist/player card

    Hello

I created a playlist with elements at the same time the reader and SD card. I recorded it on the drive and the works of playlist. But the songs on the SD card are not loaded in the drive.

If I create a playlist with songs on the map a safe on the player it is empty. If I save the songs to the card are displayed.

How can I include songs on the map in a playlist that is saved on the drive?

All the songs were copied through Solution Explorer, if it's important.

It works, once you get used to it.

  • How to copy the existing playlist on a sitck Flash USB or an SD card in Windows Media Player?

In WMP v12 on Windows 7, I can sync music from my library (Albums, etc...) without problem to USB Flash Sticks and micro SDHC card etc.  And I can copy Playlists on my MP3 player, no problem. However I can't copy playlists on any USB Flash stick or SDHC micro card. How is that possible?

    Hello

    ·         What is a normal playlist or AutoPlaylist?

    Method 1:

Check if the sync settings are correct. To do this, follow these steps.

    a. open Windows Media Player.

    b. click the arrow below the Sync tab, point to the device and then click Advanced Options.

    c. the Properties dialog box for your device is displayed. Tab sync, box start sync when device connects checkbox.

    d. restart the media player.

    e. the next time you want to sync, connect the device to your computer, click the Sync tab, and then click Start synchronization.

For more information, please see the link below: set up a device to sync in Windows Media Player:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/set-up-a-device-to-sync-in-Windows-Media-Player

    Method 2:

Add a device to sync in Windows Media Player and see if it helps.

    a. start Windows Media Player and connect your portable device into a USB port on your computer. A box of "Windows Media Player ‑‑ Device Setup" appears, showing that he recognized the device and provides an opportunity for you to name your device.

    (b) read how the player will sync your device, which is directly under where you type the name of the device. If storage of the device is more than 4 gigabytes, for example, and your library on Windows Media Player fits on this device, the player chooses automatic.

    c. selection of automatic syncing means that your device will reflect all your Windows Media Player library and it will do so that whenever it is connected. Click on "Finish".

    d. to synchronize only some of your library when the player chose automatic, you can choose what will sync when you open Windows Media Player. Click on the portable device in the right pane and drag the items you want to synchronize with this device.

    e. selection of a manual synchronization indicates that the player has detected that the portable device has no place for your entire library. Click on "Finish". Open Windows Media Player, select the portable device in the right pane and drag the items you want to synchronize with this device.
