  Welcome to the community - you can not install ESXi (the name of the VMware software) directly on a WIndows operating system - you will need to install something like VMware Workstation that allows you to create the virtual machine and install ESXi in this VM.

  I bought Dreamweaver CS4 after attending an intro class at the College where we used an earlier version (macromedia 8). My main problem is that when I add images/text inside an AP element it automatically gives a space of one line which was not on the old version and also looks like this on preview. However, if I change the text to no jumps back up to where it should be, so im assuming its something in preferences. Please see attached for example image.

  I would be recognizing all the advice, as it is something I want to fix before you begin any project.

  It has nothing to do with being in an AP element. By default, all browsers add margins for most items on level block, such as titles and paragraphs. The difference between CS4 and Dreamweaver 8 is that design in the new version gives you an idea much more clear of what the page will look like in a browser.

  You use CSS to adjust the margins on the titles and paragraphs. For example:

  h1, h2, h3 {
    margin-top: 0.25em;
    margin-bottom: 0.25em;
  }

    margin-top: 0;
    margin-bottom: 0.4em;
  }
  

  These style rules will reduce the gap between the title and paragraphs.

  1. have you checked if the CD/DVD drive appears in the BIOS?

  2. have you checked if the boot priority is set to the CD/DVD drive?

  Also, if you try to boot from the USB and CD player, I suggest that you change the boot priority.

  This can happen if the priority of the Boot in the BIOS is not configured to boot from CD/DVD as first boot device, of difficulty, change the first boot device in the BIOS as the CD/DVD drive.

Put my SIM card in it, and its only accepts no not my Blackberry ID.  I confirmed that my username and password are correct by logging in on the laptop.  I believe it's security for stolen phones, but short in him asking to put I have its ID is a way I can fix it?  I do not have his old SIM card, if to do a reset with my SIM in there, I'm afraid I'll lose all my data.

  I read each installation guide I could find, but still have not been able to make it work.

  just installed the same yesterday without problem. Make sure you download the generic installation program (aka the JAR Installer). Then install Java 7 on your MAC and make sure it's the version of Java by default (of type java-version on the terminal). Then call java-jar .jar in the directory that you copied the downloaded files (by default, it is called "Download"). Wait for the pop up setup (may take a few minutes), and then install JDeveloper. The installation directory then has a JDeveloper / JDev folder that contains the start icon to use to start the IDE
