Please HELP convert LOGO IMAGE VECTOR.

I'm a slow learner that photoshop is not quite the place to create logos, with your help, so can everyone, anyone, please help me. I do not understand how to get the image in illustrator and convert them into a vector image and keeping all the effects, like the sharp edges in the image. Any help is greatly appreciated. In addition, please keep in mind, I'm not at all familiar with illustrator and was hoping that this forum would be a great help. Thanks a lot for your help in advance!EC-D1-rev4.png
God bless you!

I would like to offer a few points to help adapt to your way of thinking a bit...

Logos are better drawn into vectors and vector illustrations can serve as a basis for various applications of the brand. In general, a form of logo like the one you have here has a solid black fill only. This is the logo of.

Using this base, drawn in scalable vectors, you can start designing variations of color, effect decorated versions, etc., but the basis of single-color vector remains to be the origin of the identity, by providing a starting point for all applications of the brand. Because it is vector art, it can be rasterized to any size appropriate for a given application. Example: Suppose that you need to print the logo with the bevel metal brushed texture and chisel edge (effects, better made in a raster like Photoshop application) on a billboard, or on the side of a truck trailer. You must rasterize the basis vector of single-color to the right size and resolution (specifications provided by the printer), and then apply your effects hatched; (this, as opposed to struggling to reproduce the effects of rasterization in vectors, like you said is a goal of yours). There is nothing wrong to create a logo in pixels when this is done correctly this way.

There is no real 'conversion' raster to vector. You will need to re - draw (manually trace) the forms using the pen of Illustrator. It is the largest and the most basic of Illustrator skills you can develop, and it takes some practice. Then type "how to use the pen in Illustrator" into your search engine preferred to get a long list of tutorials... and be patient.

  • Please help, I have a vector file in Illustrator, with a raster (jpg) inside image.  How to save it as a small, web quality pdf, still preserve the quality of the frame of the image?

    Sorry, this is probably an easy question, but I'm a noob!

    Tomy,

    Assuming the only web or similar use, you can save a copy (or save money, but it can give some danger of ruining your IA document) PDF as follows:

    (1) use the smallest file size under general setting (this will give you RGB);

    (2) set the image raster wished under Compression resolution (you can also use do not downsample).

    Compression (lack of) is crucial for the file size, of course.

    It has worked well for me. Just to be on the safe side, you can use the Trim function spaces (channels palette) to clear the characters "\".

After a reboot, I get the error message: "can't find any bootable image, notebook will be stop.

    OK, here's the solution I got from HP support:

    Go to the BIOS Setup F10, select System Setup, disable "Secure Boot", then select "Legacy", as "Startup Option. Save and restart, now you are able to boot from a bootable Usb key.

  • Convert PNG logo to vector in Photoshop

    Is it possible to convert a raster, by https://www.eurofloorslondon.co.uk/logo, a vector logo using Photoshop? I did the PNG file with transparent background, don't have the original file anymore and I would use it on a large screen at the front of the exhibition hall. Of course, the logo on the Web site is not good for printing large format. I found it difficult as the orange on the left has also some gradient. Thank you very much for the help.

    Have you try to export as and choose for the SVG format?

  • Need help to convert an Image Format in forms...

    So Ive worked with Flash Pro CS5 and it seems that I can't get right with image formats conversion

    in symbols of form. A few days ago I convert it correctly, but now I don't remember exactly how

    I did it lol.

    What Im trying to convert an image into a symbol of the form, and then in a format of .gls. When I import

    the symbol of work in my SoThink Flash form it show up under the stage, but now I can't recreate

    a work as it stands as an empty image.

    Ive looked and read a few tutorials but Im confused on what order I should do the steps in

    conversion of an image into a symbol.

    ID appreciate the help if possible, thank you...

    BTW... If theres an easy way to convert an image into a .gls shaped I'd like to hear it as well

    When you import a bitmap into flash, it's a bitmap in flash.  That is to say, no need for conversion.

    If you then want to create a vector of your bitmap image, add it to the scene, click on it to select it, then click on change/bitmap/trace bitmap.  Choose your settings, and then click ok.  on stage, you will have a vector.  You can then convert this vector a symbol (movieclip, button or graphic).

  • HP: Please help - Mirror Image printing HP 6520 via windows 8.1

    Please help :-(

    OK so I tried to figure this out for 5 hours as to believe I can do it but don't know how.

    I have a HP Photosmart 6520 printer all-in-one and I recently turned to a new laptop which is running windows 8.1.

    I try to print using mirror image.  I am aware that my printer does not support this but on my old computer, I used to install option of the device hp Photosmart 7400 series instead of the 6520 and it worked very well and I was able to print using the installation of the mirror image.

    Now when I try to install the printer manually it is no longer an option of 7400 seris who took my installation of mirror image printing.  I don't want to copy the text in paint and flip because the quality is not very good and I am sure that I can and that it should be able to do it via the printer or the driver?

    Any help would be appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read :-)

    Hey @hill25,

    Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you enjoy your experience here.

    I see that you plan to print the style of mirror-image with your Photosmart HP 6520 e-all-in-one printer. I want to help you with this. I have some suggestions that might help.

    At first I thought that this type of printing has not been supported, but clear me up by my colleague @X-23 . If you make a few adjustments for the driver and your printer printing preferences, it should be possible to print the mirror with your existing installation image text. Here's how:

    1. Press the Windows key + r , and type Control Panel , and press enter
    2. Select the devices and printers
    3. In the devices and printers folder right click on your HP Photosmart e-all-in-one 6520, printer and left click on printer properties.
    4. Left click on the Advanced tab
    5. Left-click on new driver
    6. When the new driver window just press 'Next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right.
    7. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left
    8. DeskJet 9800 select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 9800 is only select "Windows Update" at the bottom left and once the update has been completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 9800.
    9. After selecting Deskjet 9800 hit next complete the new driver Wizard
    10. Under the printer properties window, select "Apply", but don't hit not OK
    11. Select the general tab
    12. Rename your printer to HP Photosmart 6520 e - all - in - one printer
    13. Click OK
    14. Finally, right click on your HP Photosmart e-all-in-one 6520, printer one more time and left-click on Printing Preferences
    15. Left click on the paper/quality tab
    16. Left click on the drop down menu 'Normal' for quality printing at the bottom right and change its normal fast
    17. Press apply and OK

    Now that you've updated the driver, return to Printing Preferences and click on the Finish tab as shown below:

    Ideally, this approach, you retain all the features of your normal printer. When you are looking to disable the mirror image function simply go in the printer tab preferences as before and clear the mirror image check box.

    Let me know if this work around will be useful in answering this post. If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

    Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support. Have a great day!

  • Please help me with the issue of the image

    Hello

    I need to create a report of error log which two same named images overlapped together.

    Screen Shot 2015-12-16 at 1.01.06 PM.png

    The image above shows how is my page indesign file. I need the report as error log:

    With overlapping of images: photo_sample3.jpg

    Logic:

    I don't know what logic I need to use to get there. But with my knowledge, I thought, I can use the image name and the value of geometric image to achieve. I found a script that gives the number duplication, if any of this page in this page of this forum.

    var overlapArray = new Array();
    var myPages = app.activeDocument.pages.everyItem().getElements();

    for(i=0; i<myPages.length; i++)
    {
        var myPgItems = myPages[i].allPageItems;
        for(k=0; k<myPgItems.length; k++)
        {
         var bounds1 = myPgItems[k].geometricBounds;
                for(j=0; j<myPgItems.length; j++)
                     {
                       var bounds2 = myPgItems[j].geometricBounds;
                         if(k==j)
                         {
                             continue;
                         }
                        var temp = touches(bounds1, bounds2);
                        if(temp == true)
                        {
                            overlapArray.push(myPages[i].name)
                        }
                 }
             }
     }
    alert("overlap Pages: "+overlapArray);

    function touches(bounds1, bounds2)
    {
    if (bounds1[2] < bounds2[0]) return false;
    if (bounds1[0] > bounds2[2]) return false;
    if (bounds1[1] > bounds2[3]) return false;
    if (bounds1[3] < bounds2[1]) return false;
      return true;
    }

    Please help me with script or logic.
