Please help us to solve the problem in the subject MXE3500 RN with stand-alone mode

Dear all

My command team MXE3500 with node resource. 5, in fact, we would use as standalone, but I can't access http://x.x.x.x/mxeui.

Is the node of resource able to run on the standalone device? or use the resource instread Manager

Best regards

Boonpot

Node resource must be associated with a resource manager.  Only resource managers can be stand-alone.

    Hello

    Now, it's a coincidence - Colm just posted on this topic today: {: identifier of the thread = 2318817}
It is in any case, he started on Linux, so...

    SEVERE: service exception:
    java.lang.IllegalStateException: not yet initialized

This is the relevant part of your stack trace. You must call http://: 8070/apex/listenerConfigure and complete the initial configuration (mainly the database connection settings) before you can access the APEX for the first time.

It sounds like a hardware problem with your laptop, and there is probably nothing we can do to fix it here.  Have your phone checked by a reputable or approved repair facility.

  • Please help me to solve this problem of icon ;-)

Hi people, I was wondering if someone can help out me?

    .

I love the globe in example 1. I tried over and over again to recreate it but can't.

    I love the glow and all the gradients that make it look at how it works and it seems large and dark;

Now, I have a load of icons as in example 2, I don't like all the world on it, it just doesn't show on my dark background. I need these bits internal icon, in this example, the pointer but have one handful of others also.

So, how can I get rid of the inner bit of example 1, giving me a globe that retains all its transparency intact?

Then cut the pointer off example2, change its color to a light gray and insert this in the Center or the new world?

Other icons I have and you need to do this with are; Facebook, Twitter, a phone, an e-mail and a few others.

The purpose of having a globe example1 empty I can then cut the icons and the place.

Thanks a lot if you can help or ideas.

    Pete.

    Hi Fateh,

If I do not Dapex.home in the 'startup script", so that this file exists?

It will be in the directory temp of your users. The actual location of that APEX listener uses belongs to the output of the console at startup.
But I recommend always using the apex.home parameter, then you can be sure where the APEX listener looking for him and that it is not deleted by some 'clean-up '.

Yet, when I create a service for the 'start-up' file, I get the same error:

What account name is the service that is supposed to work? If you do not apex.home , the temp directory will usually be different if you do not use your username. Therefore, you will need a Setup for the account that runs the service.

So, I need to keep the open CMD...

    No, you could (and should) pipe the console output to a log file. See the full command line in the example I posted here: {message identifier: = 9606494}
I think that this is the post you mentioned above...

APEX earpiece not working only not with ORACLE XE (as I know, waiting for patch)
so far I have faced a problem with Interactive reports do not work correctly with Glassfish

There are two points to this inaccurate publication:
1 there is a work around for this problem.
    2. the problem was resolved short after he acknowledged.

There are many users using listener of the APEX with XE here in the forum. I have two bodies, including one with the new 11.2 XE and APEX 4.1, as in your scenario and it works very well.

In general, I think that 4 apex is more stable than the Apex 4.1. Apex 4.1 I am disconnected for reason now... A few times, I click on the header of column in IR and takes time to load the values...

Well, as far as I know, have evolved in the IRs, is not completely improbable that some of these changes could cause new problems. But I guess that you can find answers for this in the forum {forum: id = 137}.

Do you have any suspicion regarding the glass fish? I deployed Apex listener by following the instructions in the documentation. Then click launch. Then it should start to use port 8080, but it did not work...!

Hmmm... You see the page default GlassFish ("GlassFish Server - server running") when you callhttp://: 8080? Port number, it is not the APEX listeners case when you do not use offline...
If you get a result of http://: 8080/apex you could look in the application log in you GlassFish for more information (like in the console in stand-alone mode).

My first guess would be that you do not have confgured the APEX listener you still deployed. It should be noted that the GlassFish does not use the users temp temp directory, but has its own. So to call listenerConfigure after the first deployment or set up a config.dir with an existing apex - config.xml. I would recommend the latter strategy. You should read the article of the Guide of the Installation on the configuration file and how to set its location in the file web.xml or search the forum for this request (common)...

  • "Error - a problem prevented the document under analysis. Please try again, or to correct this information, see Help and Support or the documentation that came with the scanner"while trying to scan using HP G4050 on windows 7

A problem prevented the document are analyzed. Windows 7 - HP G4050 scanner.
I have a HP G4050 which worked fine with Vista.  After the upgrade to Windows 7, I get the following error when scanning:

A problem prevented the document are analyzed.  Please try again, or to correct this information, see Help and Support or the documentation that came with the scanner.

I get a different error during an attempt of an overview.  It starts to get an overview of the page, gets about 2 inches to the bottom of the page and then I get the following error:

An error occurred when you set the properties of the scanner.  If another program is scanning, please wait to complete, and then try again.

I downloaded the latest driver (and reinstalled several times) of HP with no luck.  No errors are recorded in the Application events.

I'm going nuts trying to figure out this one!  Thanks for your help.

    Update:

I finally had time to unplug the scanner, wait 60 seconds and then plug it again.

    Problem solved.

    Scan of stupid...

    Hey @Screamo_off,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

I understand that you are unable to install the HP ePrint app on your Windows 8.1 Surface.  I would like to help.

What model of HP printer work?

If your printer is connected to the Internet and compatible ePrint you might find this approach for Surface printing works. EPrint application is not compatible with the Surface, still, if you click here you can access steps to activate ePrint and learn how to use the ePrint via e-mail method.
