  From: e-mail address of spam almost certainly isn't the email to the original sender, it can easily be spoofed.

  You don't have an email account with your email provider, not with Thunderbird or Mozilla. It doesn't matter how you get the mail server of the provider, through Thunderbird or any other e-mail or via the webmail client. You will receive these scams by e-mail to your account without worrying.

  Change your email address and or your email provider may be a good idea however. And be careful for what and to whom you give your email address.

  For all the attachments you open the attachment, use ' Save as ' in word/excel to save the file in a directory of Documents, then open the file in this location to edit, when done save, then send your msg with that edited the attached file.

  Tap on WiFi / Ethernet icon on the printer and locate its IP address.

  From your PC, open a browser and navigate to the IP address of the printer.

  Open the San tab and select the profiles of outgoing e-mail following scan to Email section.

  Click on change profile mandatory email and follow the steps on the screen while keeping the current settings and only change the password.

  Note: If you do not set a PIN code (a code 4 digits for the digitization of the printer), delete the contents of box PIN which may be filled wrongly by the browser when the steps on the screen.

  Once you are done press on save and test.

  I can't send all e-mail messages through the ip address that I have now, which is earthlink.  I need to change so that I am able to send messages to anyone.  I have windows xp - outlook express.

  If you no longer have the earthlink address, then you need to get a new email address before establishing an account.  You cannot configure an e-mail account by using an IP address.  Your internet provider or someone else must provide a first e-mail account.

  In OE, you can then go to tools | Accounts | Add | By post, then add your new email account in OE, so it can get messages.

  Are you sure you have the password?

  Why not go into your hotmail account and a new password here, something really simple and then again try to add it to your BlackBerry.
