Plugin Flash causes enlarged video when stuttering on sites like jerk
I noticed that on sites like shake or Youtube, which is more the size of the window for the superior quality of video content workflow, it tends to stutter and the disk to thrash. Since the jerk and YouTube are now two 60 fps support videos, it is very easy to tell when the video stutters.
If I reduce the size of the window down, the problem is not completely relieved, but he gets it no better. With Chrome, I don't notice really any slowdown, but it's using the same version of Flash.
Any thoughts or ideas on what could be the problem?
Hello
Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).
To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:
- Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
- Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
- Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
- Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.
- Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
- Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
- Restart Firefox.
This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.
Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

Hello
I've updated to the latest version of flash player 11.4.402.287 today, the two versions of activex or plugin appear in flash Manager. However, I'm unable to play youtube flash videos, the bar at the top shows "Install missing plugin" I repeated the installation process, it does not appear to complete successfully, but even once when trying to play youtube videos, the "install missing plugin appears" and the videos will not play.I have also installed and re installed the last version of firefox today, thought that can help, seem to have the same problem. The flash player is not listed in the plugin adds on the list. I don't know what else to do, or what could be the problem.
I would appreciate any advice, please
Hello, I think that the download of the flash 11.4 for windows on the adobe site includes 32-bit versions and 64-bit plugin, for which I hope should not be the issue. can you try the troubleshooting tips that were offered in the following thread (step by step) and see if that can solve the problem: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/937543

I tried all the remedies suggested for this problem and nothing seems to work. Flash is up to date and cookies turned on, cleared, started Firefox in safe mode and reset Firefox. The problem also seems to occur in Chrome as well.
Problem solved! I downloaded and installed Firefox 24.0 Beta. Apparently Mozilla team programming carried out all the changes right in the new version. Now all the videos from Yahoo and BBC working.

I can't play videos from a simple site like CNN - HELP / Windows 8
Hello
Some settings have been changed on my computer. I don't know what I did. I upgraded to 8.1 to see if it would fix the
problem of not being able to play simple video on cnn.
Whenever I try to read the CNN video, it says: "cannot display the content checking internet connection.
It is not a problem with internet connection, otherwise I would not yet be able to get on CNN.
Why I can't play video?
Help, please.
Do I need Adobe? Flash? I have no idea what happened.
Thank you

I would try first just reset your Internet Explorer, it can probably solve the problem. Here's how:

It started a few days ago, possibly coinciding with the update to 41.0.1.
If I upload a video on Youtube, or load a WebM, the video shows that it is set to 'play', as it is supposed to and it loads as usual, but does not in fact, time just 0:00. If I pause and re-activate it or move the timer, he plays as usual. Also, if I load a Youtube video from a referral link on the page of a video that I've played, this happens. This does not happen on sites like DailyMotion who only use Flash instead of HTML5.
Is there a solution for this? Even if I had to force Youtube to play with Flash instead of HTML5, it won't fix problems with WebMs.

Check the PLUG INS tells me that the Shockwave Flash plugin is obsolete. But when I check on the Adobe website, I have the latest version of this plugin (11.3.300.257)
I saw similar posts, but none of these. No, IE uses its own version of ActiveX of Flash plugin and that version will stay at the 11.3.300.257

About 1 month ago I have updated Flash and Firefox to newer versions. Firefox 34.0.5, running on Windows XP, SP3, displays Adobe Flash plugin in version 16.0.0.235, but it is now blocked again. No other versions of Flash are obvious. When I choose the screen Flash option to check the plugins are updated, Firefox reports the Flash plugin is up to date.
This program's behavior is wrong and needs to be fixed. Review at Adobe, current Flash is 16.0.0.305.
Who or what is broken here? Is Firefox broken and not properly related this newest version of the Flash plugin is available?
I do not seem to previous versions of Flash installed on the system. This combo of the software was working properly for a while and then become broken, without path appropriate to allow users to resolve the issue. If Firefox is set to 'Block' a plugin, then it * MUST * be configured to easily and * CORRECTLY * allow this plugin to update. Using the latest software, my clicking on the function of "Check for updates" is reporting that Adobe Flash is the most recent version. Arrrrgh!
I am now back to the "diagnose and repair broken Flash + Firefox" exercise that I just went thru.
Best solution here would be to allow the user to easily override the mechanism of 'blocking' This could help users who use only access Flash video on trusted sites.
If there is an obvious solution to this 'blocking' current Flash goofery, please inform. Otherwise, when I solve this problem, I'll post an answer to my own question here, stating what I did to solve this problem, because it seems to have an impact on other users Firefox + Flash, without a clear solution being posted.OK, fixed. You must manually update for Adobe Flash 16.0.0.305. Do this downloaded by the installation program Adobe Flash, for WIndows with plugin browsers. Closing Firefox, run the Adobe Flash Installer and restart Firefox, you should see the plugin Flash is now 16.0.0.305. I use Windows XP - SP3, on an old HP box. Seems to work ok now (video sites course streams without incurring of autoblocking). Inspection of network traffic shows smoother bandwidth also.
Steps to follow:
(1) download the latest version of the Flash plugin installed, for Windows with plugins, if you are using XP - SP3. Try to get the full 18 meg installer of Flash player.
I followed a number of different links and eventually got to a page
who has several options for different operating systems and versions
the browser used. I chose Flash for Windows Setup with
browsers that use plugins (as opposed to Windows IE/ActiveX).
I can't find the exact URL that has the 16.0.0.305 plugin. I'll post
the URL as a post follow-up, once I found where Adobe has it.The file you want is:
'install_flash_player_16_plugin.exe '.Note, date 11 February 2015, the version I downloaded
called 'install_flash_player_16_plugin.exe' is 18,129,584 bytes.I ran "md5sum" on it, and got:
"1bca2e01063de6925c01b21abf9654d8" as the value of control.
(2) Download this prgm (install_Flash_player_16_plugin.exe), and
put it anywhere where you put the .exe files downloaded.(3) exit Firefox.
(4) or use the "Run" box, or click a "cmd" to shell
for a prompt C:\. Find the Setup program, and then run it. Should be
update the contents of the directory:
"C:\windows\system32\macromed\flash".(5) you can confirm that the content of this directory is updated.
Check the content of the file "mms.cfg. It has two lines and controls
If Flash updates will be automatically, or in the background.
(I'm paranoid, and disable the auto update... Any program of automatic update
is a perfect vector for insertion of viruses. Use this approach to your own
risk.)(6) restart Firefox and confirm the Flash plugin is now worm 16.0.0.305.
This should fix the autoblocking of Flash for the 16.0.0.235 plugin.

I installed the latest version of the plugin Flash (11.3.300.214). Videos appear again, as whites in all versions of Firefox, although they work properly with Chrome. What could be the reason? I have only the AdBlock addon, and it cannot be the cause of this fault.
Try to uninstall the Flash you have currently installed (it seems you have a beta version?). Restart your computer, then download and install http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe.
If this does not work, try to start Firefox in safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, customizations, hardware acceleration, etc., temporarily for the diagnosis and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then it is probably a problem with the add-on. Restart Firefox in normal mode, and then type "subject: addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions, restart Firefox between each one, until you find the troublemaker. Once you do, you can turn off this add-on and report the problem to the developer of this - on Add.

Plugin Flash will not install even after installing the latest version of Flash
When I go to a site that contains Flash content, it says "a plugin is required to view this content" and there is a link to install the plugin. In addition, there is a message at the top of the page that says "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page" with an option to "Install missing Plugins". I click on the link to install the missing plugin, and a dialog box appears that says "the following plugins are available: ' and 'Adobe Flash Player 11.0.1.152' lists with a checkbox next to it. The box is checked, and I click on 'Next' to install. He's going through the motions and then told me that 'no plugins were installed. There is a link to manually install the plugin, which brings me to the Adobe's Flash download page. I unchecked the box for pair McAfee Security download and downloaded the latest version of Flash (to be honest, I downloaded actually this exact version even about 10 times today). The dialog box appears, I save the file and once it has downloaded, open the folder that contains (my downloads folder). I then, close all programs (including Firefox) except for the folder of Windows Explorer I want to run the installer from. I double-click the Flash Installer to perform the installation. The installation process is complete, the installer tells me that the download is successful, and my browser opens upward with a message "Successful Installation" from the Adobe Web site. Yay! My installation is successful... Orrrrrr not. Return to the page with the Flash media - always have a message saying that I need the plugin. Try to download plugin once again... no dice.
THEN, I go to "Manage my Add-ons" thinking maybe I need to activate the plugin. There is no plugin Flash (or Shockwave) listed on any of the menus - it is as if it does not exist.
I downloaded the latest version of Java because I read somewhere that Flash requires Java work; I installed the "add-on Compatibility Reporter" so I could force Java to be enabled. It made no difference whatsoever, best I can tell.
I also went to the Adobe homepage where you can see what version of Flash you use (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) and it does not even show that I have installed Flash. In Internet Explorer, it shows that I have installed Flash, but it's the previous version (but this is probably due to the fact that I downloaded Flash in Mozilla, not IE, and they use different modes in each browser - so an update that you download from a browser does not necessarily apply to the other browser).
So in summary: I don't know what on Earth is wrong here, but I'm about as frustrated that I've never been in my life. I don't know why the installation of Adobe Flash is said she is successful (it sleeps for me?), but there is no plugin appear in my menu manage add-ons, and I googled all the possible combinations of content in this message and have not found a solution that works yet.
It seems that you have found the 64-bit version of Flash. Is your Windows 7 64-bit?
I did read your entire post, but NPSWF64_11_1_102.dll which is Flash 64-bit; This turns into a novel when it should have been a short story.
First, uninstall all Flash your system by following these instructions from Adobe
Second, get the 32-bit versions of the following. Why? Unless you use an unofficial Firefox 64-bit version, the regular Firefox is a 32-bit browser and needs 32-bit Flash.
- Download/SAVE two ways, close all browsers and then install.
- 32-bit Flash Player ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
- 32-bit Flash Player plugin (all other browsers)
- Download/SAVE two ways, close all browsers and then install.
Third, test Flash on websites where you had a problem before.
If this does not work, my last suggestion for you is to follow the instructions from Adobe for troubleshooting. I don't know what's happening with your system, which could possibly be the cause of the problem.

Hi there, hope someone can help me work on this problem, I've had for the last two days!
I built my own video player Flash AS3 and 'defileur' seems to be causing an error message when you drag too far (I guess because it crawls to come to a part of the video that has not yet fully charge). This problem does not occur when you debug the movie in Flash, but does appear when loading in an HTML page.
I get the error message is...
Quote:
Error #2044: Unmanaged by the NetStatusEvent:. Level = error, code = NetStream.Seek.InvalidTime

Live messenger activation causes poor video quality
Whenever I have activate Live messenger (Windows xp, version 2009, Build 14.0.8117.416) my monitor turns off completely. After a few seconds the video links and this is horrible. Right-click on a zone empty of my desktop and go to properties, a time I'm on the view tab, I see that my video quality went to 8-bit, low. I can use the drop-down list box and select 32 - bit and 'ok', and my video quality goes back to normal. However, whenever I click on a link in live messenger, or select an option Menu tab in live messenger that my video goes back to 8 bits. What's worse, is that my Messenger friend sent me a video link 'you tube '. By clicking on the link caused my video problem to cycles in the horrible back 8-bit to 32-bit normal. Every few seconds, the screen goes white and back, it is the other video quality. Previously, I was able to have video conversations with my friend, but now we have problems (she can see and hear me, I can't hear him). I also noticed that the 'video', and the point of 'Photo' of the bar menu is grayed out. Live messenger does not show even I have a webcam, although this option is selected. Why do I have all this trouble with live messenger. It started a few months ago. Oh, one last thing... When I close Live Messenger, my video quality returns to normal as if nothing happened.
