• Flash no longer works with Firefox 13

  so I have Firefox 13.0.1 and Flash Player upgrade to 11.3 and flash no longer works. I tried many things, but ultimately downgraded flas player for 11.2. Still no joy. The only way I can get Flash to work is if I start Firefox in safe mode with disabled modules. If I manually disable the modules from inside Firefox is still does not work, so I guess that's not quite the same as disabling safe mode. I have not installed RealPlayer. I tried to create a new profile, but still no joy. Other ideas for me to try please?

• Plugin Flash does not work

  I installed the latest version of the plugin Flash (11.3.300.214). Videos appear again, as whites in all versions of Firefox, although they work properly with Chrome. What could be the reason? I have only the AdBlock addon, and it cannot be the cause of this fault.

  Try to uninstall the Flash you have currently installed (it seems you have a beta version?). Restart your computer, then download and install http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe.

  If this does not work, try to start Firefox in safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, customizations, hardware acceleration, etc., temporarily for the diagnosis and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then it is probably a problem with the add-on. Restart Firefox in normal mode, and then type "subject: addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions, restart Firefox between each one, until you find the troublemaker. Once you do, you can turn off this add-on and report the problem to the developer of this - on Add.

• Flash no longer works when refreshing a page template

  Recently moved from GoLive to DW CS3. I bought Total Training for DW CS3 to help the transition.

  I am wanting to create a page template to use for the entire site, so if I need to make a change to the model, it updates my entire Web site.  When I download the page, the flash image load very well. The problem I have is if I reopen the page template.dwt and make a change, when DW updates the pages that are related to the model, the flash of images in the pages no longer work.

  Here are my steps that I took:

  1 create a page named index.html

  2. an editable region called "main content" insert > template objects > editable region

  3. has created a folder named templates in the root directory

  4. file > save as template and called home.html (for testing so not joking my work index.html page)

  5. file > new > Page model and chose my file template.dwt

  6. adding content to the page.

  7. file > save as a society - hist.html

  8 download index.html and home.html company - info.html on the server.

  Everything works as it is supposed to.

  9. open template.dwt and make a change.

  10. save the page and DW updates pages home.html and company - info.html

  11 download to the server

  12 flash image on these two pages stop working

• Plugin Flash seems not work - Twitch, YouTube, etc.

  Hey there.

  Despite both the last plug-in for Adobe Flash (17.0.0.169) and the latest Mozilla Firefox update (37.0.1), I seem to be able to actually use the Flash pretty much what it is. It's particularly frustrating because even a few hours ago, I was watching a jerk, liquid flux of Mozilla and then went to bed. I'm not sure as to which is the cause of this problem.

  On the tremor, the browser will freeze for 10-20 seconds until I see a message in the chat service "Failed to load Flash" or something of the sort.
  On YouTube, I get a Script error where I am asked to continue the race, debugging or stop a script entering yt.img.

  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled all Adobe Flash. I also went in Mode without failure of Firefox in which the questions persisted. In addition, I tried to load either site before and after emptying my cache - with no difference between tests. Moreover, already tried to add yt.img to a black list, and while I could load the page stream or video without problem, I could not see the video.
  I use Windows 7 (x 64) and have had no problems with Firefox even during last night.

  For something that seems to have slipped during the night, it's quite frustrating to meet. I will edit this post and attach images in an instant.

  EDIT: Attached images and confirmed that this problem is local to Firefox itself. Adobe Flash seems to work very well in my Internet Explorer (that I used only at the moment to test it).

  Solved by making a total uninstall completely the process

• Flash no longer works and blocking firefox. I have fast dial and don't want to lose it so what can I do to solve this problem?

  Any site or what I do it will come to the top randomly and freeze firefox then finally a box appears and says Flash is busy or not responding not to continue or stop the plugin. Naturally, I stop plugin. I always install the latest versions of flash I even uninstall and reinstalled flash and downgraded and still no change or it bothers me to update. I use firefox 26.0 I usually stay away from the beta if possible. My biggest concern with using the firefox reset or make a new profile is my quick dial that I have tons of sites there was waiting for me to click on and im afraid if I do that I will lose it. But I have used the same profile for years then maybe its time. I'll have to redo everything my dial fast, I guess that if someone can find another way to do it. I have disabled hardware acceleration on firefox I have it makes my browser to do weird things. I also disabled hardware acceleration in flash as well. I have the registry and files temporary cleant. I'm good with computers, but have never seen such issues with flash. If someone could help that would be great. Thank you.

  Its ok on the Profile Manager. I used to use Mozbackup back in the day lol. So, I just started back up this folder that works well also. I used the script to delete the prefetch files and so far everything is good and Ive done everything I usually do. Usually more crashing on facebook games well. It always crashed in the video also, but it's very good now. Weird that do one thing as it fixes a big problem like that. But I appreciated all the answers and all the advice. • Shift-click to create straight lines with the Brush tool is no longer works in 2015 CC

  Hello!

  I feel a maddening thing I can't explain, maybe a bug or a dark environment?

  If I use the pencil tool, I can click on the same spot on the canvas, then releases, then hold SHIFT key and click in another location on the canvas to create a straight line between the two points. This is expected behavior, and Photoshop has done this for years, as long as I can remember.

  Until recently, the same has worked with the Brush tool. Since the upgrade to 2015 CC, however, shift-click on demand exactly as if I was clicking simply - he draws another full brush, but without a straight line connecting the two clicks. Weird.

  don't know why I don't seem to be seeing nowhere now. saw similar things in the past, but never had that problem myself but... it's here.  Yay.

  so, such things as 20 years now and don't have never had a problem. but now I'm stuck with the constant, "Adobe Flash has ceased... a potentially dangerous operation" window on a new machine.  first win machine 8.1, but enough course that is not all.

  1. I go to the adobe settings_manager_04 page to join the Committee of global security. Click on change the locations, and click Add location. Click on the button 'Find a file' and no window navigation.  It never happened to me before, but I saw it on machines other people when I was setting them up.  so I would tell them to do step 2.

  2. just type in c: and press to confirm.  that's always worked in the past, also.  but now, no..  it save it.  He remembers when I get back.  but I still can't run things locally.

  and here's a "to boot."  in play with this back and forth between the new laptop and one more early similar portable only under win8, I get the same results.  only my machine win8 has never done this before, and it is not the problem of not being able to run things locally.  in fact, I deleted my c: drive from the Panel of securities on this machine, and he can still run everything locally.

  It's as if the Panel is up there, save that I put (or take on), but never actually done something about it.

  any ideas would be most appreciated spectaularly.

  We need to break these:

  PPAPI Flash Player - Each instance of PPAPI Flash Player (i.e. Chrome) is encapsulated in it's own little bubble.  He can't go to the control panel native on the system, or he knows all the other settings or objects shared on the system.  The only Management Interface is sovereign wealth funds on macromedia.com.

  Some sovereign wealth funds explicitly disable the settings menu options in the context menu.  Animation flash at the bottom of the Flash Player Help page is always a good choice if you do not type this URL.

  Firefox - Firefox and other NPAPI Flash Player instances on your system all share common resources for sharing the files objects and settings.  You can manage them from the control panel native or from Manager settings SWF on Adobe.com.  If you find yourself http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html, you should automatically be redirected to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html , but it looks like this is not the case for some reason any.  I'll open a bug on it and get it degenerate over the web team.

  The settings are saved compared to of the original domain and only the parameters recorded count of macromedia.com.  (This prevents from scenarios where evil.com can scratch our SWFs settings and versions of rogue host of sovereign wealth funds Panel who did unexpected things, for example).  So when you find yourself www.adobe.com/...settings_manager.html, user interface works and it will remember your changes, but Flash Player ignores because they have not been made on macromedia.com.

  If you go directly on the macromedia.com link I posted above, you will be able to navigate to the appropriate panels and have the changes saved in the meantime.

  I don't see the problem where to browse for the files just the dialog box closes, even on Macromedia.com using a Mac, which looks like a separate bug.  I'll follow upward in a little with public bug numbers.

  I'm not able to reproduce the problem where open Control Panel enables the browser to crash.  I think you might want to either erase all your data saved Flash Player (Panel > Flash Player > advanced > settings and the navigation data > Delete All) to see if it is a corrupt LSO.

  back to work.  It has just stopped working the other day.  I installed, reinstalled, uninstalled, rebooted, disabled Norton and still I can't work.  If I try to watch a video it tells me that I need Flash.   Uh, help, please!

  Hi, sorry you have problems! Using IE, go to tools, Manage addons and under "show"look (very light text) to Shockwave Flash Object." Is it listed and enabled?

  Video option disappears once clicked, appears as a still. I tried in Facebook using Firefox. These worked well until the new update.  On another site, a small window appears where I had to click allowed when the video played in the background.

  I suggest that you update to the latest version 18.0.0.160.

• Plugin reader for versions of Chrome 42 + no longer work

  Starting from 15/04/2015, Google has deprecated the NPAPI which apparently uses the Adobe Reader plugin (see deprecation NPAPI: Developer's guide - The Projects chrome) this means that the Adobe Reader for Chrome plugin no longer works.

  Adobe plans to provide a new plugin or extension for Chrome?

  If not, what is an alternative that can manage forms .xdp?  I tried PDF Viewer (PDF.js), notable PDF and Xodo but none of them manage files .xdp.

  All: I use the Adobe Reader plugin for the work. I found a workaround for the new Chrome 42 updated version that deleted the NPAPI, including Adobe Reader plugins.

  In the URL of the browser Chrome, type 'chrome://flags '. Find the indicator called 'Activate NPAPI Mac, Windows ' and click 'enable '.

  Then, return to your plugins in Chrome, "chrome://plugins." Make sure that the Adobe Reader Enabled plugin and the viewer of PDF of Chrome is disabled. Everything should work as before.

• After the last update of Firefox, MOBI plugin no longer works

  After that the recent update to 29.0.1, my plugin that I used to see the MOBI ebook files no longer work. When I click on a file, it displays the window saying: "you have chosen to open the file MOBI blah blah blah. What do you do? "And when I click on open, it's that open a new tab in Firefox and then the question appears again and here again, if I click on open, it does not open the file, but opens a new tab... etc etc. By clicking the other option, save, done the same thing. I use Windows 7, if that makes a difference. The plugin was working fine until I updated to Firefox.

  I recently had to reset my plugins by using 12 Firefox in safe mode to get rid an extension/add-on causes a redirection problem. All was well, except for a plugin I need is no longer works. It is called 'missing-e' and is for Tumblr.

I do I get invited to install on firefox, I install, I get the message that it has been installed correctly - but then it never appears in the Extensions or Plugins area under modules area (even if nothing never appears in the Extensions). And the features, it allows tumblr are not enabled.

  The 'missing-e' people sent me here say they believe that it is a browser problem.

  • Now, launch Firefox with the new profile.

  -> IF this new profile works, then you can retrieve your history, passwords, bookmarks, etc. from the old profile, as described in this article-> recovery of data from an old profile

  Check and tell if its working.

  Do, or you have installed Chrome? It appears that an update of Chrome, (mid April 2013), is responsible for the loss of the option new folder. Even if Chrome has not been installed, here are two patches.
