  I created a form with two text fields. When I print, a small black square containing a white sign appears at the bottom right of each field. In form Design view, by clicking on the plus sign on the screen opens the text field properties dialog box. In manual input mode, clicking on it seems to alternate between the two fields.   I am trying to connect to an Access 2007 accdb file by using an ASP site in Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 Home Premium OS (processor quad Intel i7 6 GB of RAM).  The plus sign in the database window is gray, without error message or explanation about the program.

  All the steps below "to use dynamic data on this page" have checkboxes next to them.  [1. create a site for this file.]  2. choose a document type.  3 configure the server to test site]

  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 Home Premium.  I am trying to connect to an Access 2007 accdb file.  I searched the internet far for some clues, but all the world assumes that the sign '+' is active and not greyed out.

  I created an ASP.

  View local: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Website\

  Remote server / test: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\

  I tried to put the Access 2007 database these two places.

  I tried several variations where to put the local site, the remote server, and the test server on my computer and nothing seems to make any difference.

  I would fix a screen showing the sign more dimmed, but Adobe has temporarily disabled the file uploads b/c of some security concerns.

  I will be forever in your debt if you can solve this conundrum!

  ASP VBScript has not been deprecated in Dreamweaver CS5. It is still supported.

  ASP.NET and ASP JavaScript are no longer supported. They appear in the Server templates to allow developers to continue to work with sites created in previous versions of Dreamweaver.

  I'm not sure if Dreamweaver supports databases created in Access 2007. You may need to convert to use an .mdb file name extension. Also, see if the following help page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setup_asp_04.html.

  If this is your first foray into the development of dynamic websites, I feel obliged to say that the ASP is a very bad choice. Microsoft has stopped the ASP development about 10 years ago and is now all efforts for ASP.NET. Although many people still use with ASP, it is a dying technology. If you want to create dynamic Web sites in Dreamweaver, you'd be better off using PHP or ColdFusion.

  Just remembered that add-ons (extensions or Plugins) Conduit can break the button '+', which in fact doing nothing. Should not lead to open a new window, however.

  Perhaps users have discovered that this problem is caused by led modules, for example a plugin Conduit and/or an extension "Community Toolbar".

  You can check and disable the extensions on page modules. Either:

  • Command + shift + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  What helps with the button "+"? If so, you can name the specific extension that caused the problem?

  You can also see the Plugins page modules. You can never use 'activate' to disable plugins that you do not usually use.

  This error indicates a corrupted registry. There are a few things you can do. If you are comfortable to do technical stuff, then consider these alternatives.

  A. you can create another user account, and then transfer your files to this new account and delete the old.

  This will require to start the computer in Mode without failure, then create a new account to user once inside.

  1. Turn on the computer.
  2. Press the F8 key repeatedly when the first screen appears.
  3. In the advanced Windows Menu of Options, use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.
  4. Open a user account by clicking on the Start button, select Control Panel, click user accounts and parental control, and then click user accounts.

  I have a screensaver running on my Windows 7 computer when it is not in use.  When I press on enter (or move the mouse) to start using the computer, it automatically goes to a screen with my computer name and a password to sign in.  How can I disable this screen so that when I press on enter or move the mouse to the screen saver, the screen will just go directly on my desk (without going through this temporary sign on screen)?  Thanks in advance for the help.

  Alrighty, the Firefox on my laptop (und such that she has always been with Firefox for me) has the "Open a new tab" button as a tab himself. Always to the right of the tabs I have open und is smaller with only one more sign on this subject. (+) I hit that, bam, a new tab page opens upward, always with the + page to the right to open another tab, if I want to.

  Is anyone having a problem with their cursor on the computer screen appear as a sign, when you use the mouse?  In a text document, it is the traditional vertical bar.  When I move the cursor on the computer, it may be an arrow, but then turns into a symbol (target?) more.  I can't understand what is the cause.  I rebooted a couple of times.  I use 10.11.3, but it has only recently begun.
