HP mini210-3040NR: password did not accept the sign on screen

When I enter my password at sign on screen I get the following error. the user profile service service has no logon failed to load the user profile

Hello plumislandchick,

This error indicates a corrupted registry. There are a few things you can do. If you are comfortable to do technical stuff, then consider these alternatives.

A. you can create another user account, and then transfer your files to this new account and delete the old.

This will require to start the computer in Mode without failure, then create a new account to user once inside.

  1. Turn on the computer.
  2. Press the F8 key repeatedly when the first screen appears.
  3. In the advanced Windows Menu of Options, use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.
  4. Open a user account by clicking on the Start button, select Control Panel, click user accounts and parental control, and then click user accounts.
  5. Click on manage another account. ...
  6. Click on create a new account.

  • The "MyNewServerHostname" server did not accept the certificate.

    Hello

I have a server on a Mac mini with OS X 10.11 and a MacBook pro with OS X 10.11 customer who worked very well in the lab. But to put the server on another network necessary to change the name and the IP with the changeip command-line. Now the customer can not get the schooling profile.

On the client, I have install the trusted certificate, and then when I install the profile of education get the following failure message:

The "MyNewServerHostname" server did not accept the certificate.

I already tell a customer to make clean installation, deleted all the old certificate server, stopped the open directory and destroy the OD with the slapconfig command-line - destroyldapserver. And then create a new OD with new certificates, but always the same message failed. Any idea to fix it?

After you rename the server, you must create a new profile of certificate and trust. Did you do that?

  • Re: Failed on nine L510 Vista admin password - does not accept the admin pass

    Hi all

Completely baffled by this one so would appreciate any advice.

I just bought a new Satellite L510 with vista hard disk installation.

I went through the installation process long and eventually got to the point where I could configure my admin account and the name of my computer.

I chose the name of my admin account and typed in the password and confirm the password and named my computer.

Now when I get to the initial Vista logon screen, it does not accept the password I am entered (and confirmed).

This can be a problem with caps lock, as the password was all numbers.

(the password was all numbers and five numbers)

It, however, gives the correct indication for the password that I entered. It does not accept the password.

I would be happy even just redo the installation process, but I have no idea how to do this, because I can't even a quick command-line anywhere.

    Help, please!

It's strange. You can log on using a different user name?

In any case to run recovery, you either:

    * Press and hold zero during the power upward
    * Press F8 before Windows starts to enter the Windows Start Menu, then run recovery of the option "repair your computer". http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

  • screensharingd does not accept the name of user and password

    Hello

We have a mac mini which does not accept my credentials via screen sharing. I activated the remote access connection & remote management and set the password for VNC ("viewers VNC may control screen with password") to the same as my username "geertl".

When I try to connect from another mac mini or an Ubuntu (with customer Remmina) system I always get the following error (system.log):

7 June 18:01:01 screensharingd mac [2277]: authentication: FAILED: username: geertl: Viewer address: x.x.x.x: Type: DH

VNC access is fine (with for example of TightVNC viewer):

7 June 18:01:36 mac screensharingd [2282]: authentication: MANAGED: user name: N/A: Viewer address: x.x.x.x: Type: VNC WITH

In this window VNC then enter my password and login without problem. SSH also works without problem from a Linux machine:

    ~ # ssh mac-l geertl sw_vers - productVersion

    Password:

    10.11.5

It's just the screensharing who does not accept my password and/or username. Mac has been restarted, all reconfigured screensharing two through GUI as CLI, 'Account name' and 'Real name' were aligned and put different, none of them work. The firewall is disabled.

We have another mac that is configured in the same way (same user name, same network,...) where the screen sharing works fine.

    Any pointer very appreciated!

I had the same problem recently following a power failure.

What I did to recover was to ensure that my Mac Mini was up and running - visible in the side bar of the finder.

Then power rolled (stop) OSX on iMac and rebooted.

Connections has then worked as expected.

I would add, that my iMac and Mac Mini are running 10.11.5; and Yes, the problem only screen sharing.

  • Install FlashPlayer does not accept the name of user and password

Trying to install Flash Player on my Mac.  The Adobe site recognize my user name (email) and password.  But when it comes time to install Flash Player and he asked name of user and password, the box just vibrates.  Why the name of user and password work on the site, but did not accept that for the actual installation?

    Hi adasil,

If you get the password as mentioned below screen window, then it's the username and password for your MAC computer not Adobe. Also, as PAT said, Flash player is not necessary any Adobe ID or password.

If the user name and password don't work then you should contact Mac

I have a HP 2540 wireless with a blue light problem flashing. The error message is 'do not accept password' somethhing or similar to that. I restarted the router, printer and pc according to the instructions. I reloaded the latest drivers from the Hp I homepage I pressed the buttons wireless and cancel them for 5 seconds. None of this works. The printer will not connect to my home network or directly to my pc. I have windows 7 pro 32 bit and Att Uverse network using WPA - AES. I type the correct SSID password, but it does not accept the installation program. He logged the first right on the day with all the features of operation area. I think I need to reset to the factory as I've made a few changes setting to print from IE Explorer and Google Chrome.  From one day to the next day something changed after the next power Cycle.

Connect to your router and remove all security on your SSID temporarily. Now try to connect to your SSID unsecured. Are you successful? If so, go back and add WPA2-AES with your password and try again.

  • Vista does not accept the password (password not changed or forgotten)

Vista does not accept the password (we have not forgotten password of windows startup) how can we get around this problem .the password has not been changed or forgotten Vista has a little programming problem which stops the right password

It is most often caused by the computer being infected, so after you go back into the system, it would be wise to make an analysis.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

You can change your password to something you remember (or use a white) another administrative user account. If you had only an administrative user account, all is not lost. You can then follow the general recommendations for implementing user accounts in Vista that I will give you at the end of this post.

All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [press Enter]
NET user [insert here the name of your user account] [insert the new password of user as 1234 here] [press Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

Remove the installation DVD and restart the computer. Now, you will be able to connect to your user account by using the password that you set; for example, 1234.

If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair Vista (not a system recovery!) system in the diagnostic menu. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. Get to this menu by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. If you do not have this option, you can make a bootable Vista file repair DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need to use third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com ) to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data.

Once you have fixed things, log on to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).
