Podcasts have disappeared

Today, almost all my podcasts has disappeared from my iPad. I noticed it after I did my backup, then restore that backup has not helped. I use iTunes 12.3.2 on a computer running Windows 7. My iPad 3 is running iOS 9.2.1. Is there any way I can recover my deleted and unsubscribed podcasts?

Device backups include no multimedia content. Can I subscribe to the series even in iTunes for Windows? All offered iTunes back sync settings in all of my devices podcast that erased a part of my library, but I could get my library of his backup. Deleted files on the device are not recoverable.

  • Mail - some mailboxes have disappeared, where are they gone?

In Mail - MacBook Pro, a few mailboxes have disappeared. When I search for mail I know lies in the mailboxes, the spectacle of the elements in research and on each message the name of the mailbox, they are archived shows. How can I find the boxes to the missing letters?

    Hello martinjohnharris,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that a few mailboxes disappeared on your MacBook Pro and it does not display the messages you're looking for. I use my Mail app so much, so I can imagine how eager are you to retrieve these messages. I'll be happy to help you with this.

If you select the mailbox in the Mail box, please use the article Mail (El Capitan): rebuild the mailboxand try a reconstruction of each mailbox, specifically, this section:

You may have to re-create a mailbox to update the list of the messages it contains. For example, if messages seem to be missing or garbled, or if you don't find any relevant messages when you search by using the entire Message search option.

Select a mailbox in the Mail sidebar, then choose BALL > rebuild.

When you rebuild the mailbox for accountIMAP or Exchange messages and attachments stored on your computer are discarded and then downloaded again from the mail server to your Mac. Your mailbox is empty until the download is complete.

    Best regards.

  • I was prompted to install an update, after installing and restarting all of my previous tabs have disappeared.

Once I restarted, all my tabs open (including pins and Add-ons pages) have disappeared. In my sessionstore folder all files have been changed after the update. Is there anything I can do to get this back?

Yes, try to copy this sessionstore.bak file in your folder [random] .default. Make sure Firefox is closed before doing so. Then rename the sessionstore.jsfile. Also rename the folder sessionstore-backups of "old-sessionstore".

Sometimes Firefox can't read the sessionstore.js file if it can detect other session restore files (recovery.js, recovery.bak, and previous.js) in the sessionstore-backups folder.

  • I can't find my old emails that is to say the last 4 years e-mails have disappeared. I can't see in the 'archives' folder list and also in my list of "local" files

I can't find my old emails that is to say the last 4 years e-mails have disappeared. I can't see in the 'archives' folder list and also in my list of "local" files
I recently formatted my system. It causes this problem? Is there anyway to recover my emails?

Assuming that really format you your hard drive.
Can erase you every single entry to a file, message, photo, program, document, etc. When you select format you get warnings on this subject.
The format is the last thing you want to do without going through a backup of your personal and important files.

Local folders is automatically created when you installed Tbird.
And it is empty until you move something over there.
(Your former local folder with all its files and messages has been removed under format).

Only messages that are still on your server (stbeehive.oracle.com) can be recovered.

  • Bookmarks have disappeared, impossible to recover

Hello Mozilla community! I turned on my computer, after that I went to work, namely that all my favorites have disappeared. The only ones that appear are YouTube and Google (which does not work because the address is ' https://ww. "for some reason any). When I try to add another bookmark, it allows me to name it, but he never recorded the address and rest just to "subject: vacuum. When I try to recover bookmarks, it says there's an error on every single back upward.

I've tried all the "solutions" they've listed including restarting it, putting it in safe mode, and completely uninstalling it and re-downloading and installing it twice. If anybody can help me, I will be so grateful. I'm about to completely give up on Mozilla because of this. Thank you very much for your time.

Literally, right after that I posted this question, I closed Firefox, then when I opened it, all my favorites appeared at random. I even uninstalled twice and delete my old profiles. I guess that nothing on the internet gets actually removed more, huh? I would remove this issue, but I don't think you can.

  • I use Thunderbird with multiple e-mail accounts. This morning, on behalf of BT 12 months last emails have disappeared, no other accounts like hotmail. (btinternet?)

The shot to the top of Thunderbird, this morning, the last 12 months of emails have disappeared from my Inbox. Older emails are still there. The new mails are still on my phone. Other accounts in Thunderbird (hotmail, gmail, etc.) do not seem to have been affected. This seems to be a special relationship between Thunderbird and BT internet email. I would be really grateful for any help. Thank you.

Hi - Thanks for taking the time to answer for me. No, the problems don't moved earlier. My wife also has a near-dormant BTinternet account which is accessible from the Thunderbird even on the same computer. Which has proved to work very well. I found that there were many problems with the BT e-mail yesterday and my problem was resolved later (2 hours on the phone) by a very helpful Lady in BT who virtually rebuilt my account. Even my security questions were rejected. I think that BT Yahoo email had major problems yesterday and he had nothing to do with Firefox - so please accept my apologies if I've wasted your time. Again thank you and best regards.

  • Cannot set new bookmarks; Some have disappeared; saved but rebuilt; lost a lot more. Help!

Problem has grown gradually over a period of 2-3 days. First of all, some favorites have disappeared from the toolbar. At the same time, 'Bookmark this Page' has stopped working, and cleared from the list "recently set bookmark". When I followed the recommended procedure Firefox for backup and restore, I repeatedly had the message that Firefox could not process the restoration. Then 3/4ths my bookmark folders disappeared. This happened it try with different dates backup. Now, I find that a number of other people have similar problems. Like some of them, my problem may have begun during a restart because of a deadlock in another program. Mozilla's Support system seems far too complicated, time-consuming and circular, and talking to a person live doesn't seem to be an option. If this is not corrected within the next 24 hours I'm trying other browsers, after use Firefox almost exclusively for several years.

I see that you have the extension of Maintenance of places. Using this fact no difference to your ability to add bookmarks, or stop losses?

To test the integrity of your backup files of bookmark, I will suggest you try to restore one or two of them to a new profile.

Since I'm a Windows user, I apologize in advance if this answer is not entirely applicable to your system.

Bookmark backups in a convenient location

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press enter/return

In the first table of the page, click on the button 'show in Finder '. This should start a new Finder window. Then, double-click the folder bookmarkbackups . Copy some of your recent backups on the desktop or another location.

    Create a new Firefox profile

Leave Firefox runs. Start up in the Profile Manager using the method in this article: use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox.

    Notes:

    • Do not delete anything here!
    • Any time you want to switch profiles, leave Firefox and return to this dialog box.

Click on the button create a profile, give it a name like Test0426 and skip the option to change the location of the folder. Select the new profile from the dialog box, and then start Firefox.

    Test bookmark backups

Firefox in the new profile should look like a new installation of the plant. You can use the steps in this article to test one or more of the files you copied to your desktop (or another location): restoration of the bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer (use the option of choosing a file instead of one of the dated options).

Firefox in the new profile read and restore the backup?

    Return to your Normal profile

Exit Firefox and look at this article: use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox.

When you return to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the button Delete a profile on Test0426. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation. If you don't want to clean up later, I suggest to make a backup of all your profiles first in case something go wrong.

  • The menu AND the bookmarks have disappeared

The menu and all the Favorites have disappeared from my screen. 'Show the bookmarks toolbar' is checked, and bookmarks are listed, but not on my screen. And no menu item (file, publishing, display, etc.). Fixing these articles are overwhelming.

You see your tab bar showing the tabs of the pages you have open?

If Yes: you can turn on the menu bar by double-clicking an empty area of the tab bar, or right click on the new tab button ('+') and select the menu bar.

If not: could check you if Firefox is in full screen mode? The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

    Any progress?

On missing bookmarks. Those on the menu and on the toolbar are two separate lists, so it is normal that you don't seem to menu bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar. However, normally there is a button on the main toolbar with a button that comes down to your bookmarks. It looks like a Clipboard and is right next to a star. You can find this one?

  • All my posts have disappeared from the Inbox.

I realized there is a similar problem posted, but proposed solutions don't work here and the details here are different.

All messages have disappeared from the Inbox. The sent box is fine, but deleted from the Inbox messages do not appear in the Recycle Bin.

A search of the Inbox for messages of size > 0 allows me to see the messages and respond to them.
If I move a message to another folder the moved message is invisible but believes it is search.

Deleted messages are in the trash folder, but is not visible. A search in the trash finds them.

Messages in the search boxes reuse (response, delete), but try to delete a selected message in the search box list has no effect.

I found a solution. I can't take credit, but I tell you that I was almost embarrassed the simplicity of the solution and the problem.
AT & T ConnectTech technician admitted that when I could left click and select the message in a tab, it was probable that nothing was clicked in the "select to display columns" in the top right of the CT. He clicks on a selection of articles and automatically that my messages appeared.
