-Pop-up menus interrupted by Flash banner?

Well. Here's a situation: I created a menu Popup on HTML, it's above a banner flash (like the first page of www.adobe.com), but when I click on the button, no option is played on the flash banner... I don't know why. It looks like Cup... only those options that does not cover the flash banner appear.

So, as a first option I want to know what to do with the HTML to make it work (such as adobe.com), as a second solution, I would like to know how to create context menus with Flash. Thanx, appreciate any help...

I remember when people used to try to solve problems through research
previous answers before they asked. It is the nature of active content

Back to the beginning. The only reliable method to avoid it is to change your design.

Here's one thing that will work in most, but not all browsers:

  • Problems with zoom back with a Flash banner

    I created a Flash banner for the homepage of my site.  Here is the link to the page I'm working on: http://adirondackvic.org/CSSTest9July2012-2.html

    When I zoom in to increase the size of the web page, Flash banner automatically resizes it.  However, when I Zoom out, to decrease the size of the web page, the Flash banner does not automatically resize.  It remains the same size, and you need to hit the Refresh button to get it to scale to fit the newly resized page.

    Is there any solution for this?  I searched the forum and the web and have not found response.  I asked a question on this in another forum, but has received no response. I found some discussions on the issue on the web and on this forum, but I wasn't able to find a way to integrate suggestions from my page.  I tried to change the scale to exactfit to showall, such as recommended, but that has created a problem with the appearance of the page. (The banner properly fits in the window of the header). I also tried (as recommended by one of the entries in this forum) change the width = "100%" height = "100%" or width = "100%" height = "auto".  This fixed the problem for Internet Explorer, but then the whole banner disappeared in Firefox.

    FYI: Flash is a bit dead as a web technology, because so many popular devices does not support (iPhone, iPad, iTouch, etc...)  Users who do not have Flash Player will see nothing.

    It is perhaps timely to share your Flash banner with a rotating banner of jQuery which can be seen in all the web features.

  • Question of associated with the Flash banner space in Firefox

    I have a site with validating XHTML and CSS that displays unwanted space in Firefox under a Flash banner.  The site has been tested in IE6/7/8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, AOL, and Netscape.  Firefox is the only problem.  After posting this problem to the exchange of Experts, it was determined that the code Dreamweaver generates to insert Flash causes of the problem.  An expert on the site initially thought that there were two instances of the object and removed the IE handles.  The site then displays correctly in all other browsers, but continually strives to load the Flash file in Internet Explorer. Of course, this is not the resolution.  I tried to insert various IECCs without finding the right combination.  -The online site is http://www.imfgsol.com.  The test page that contains the code proposed by the Experts Exchange is http://www.imfgsol.com/default2.html - I would appreciate help in resolving this issue.  Thank you!

    OK lets start troubleshooting...

    You have aheight of 131 and the is only 113 is exact or transposed?

    Second, then using swfobject, it is best to first test your alt content and make sure that it works BEFORE you have swfobject kick in. Is that what you did?

    If this isn't the case, create a simple .jpg image to serve temporarily content ALT do exactly the same size as your .swf, 963 x 113, choose a color that stand out. Then comment out all of the current content (or delete) then just the jpg is in that. To test the alt content, change the name of the .js file for:

  • Loading a SWF in my flash banner

    Hello

    I am creating a banner for a website, and I need to load an external images scroll swf located behind the layers in my flash banner.  Another example is the site: www.miracledetail.co.uk.

    I created managed to create everything in this banner except the scrolling images, so I have an external swf file to load into my flash banner project.

    I tried this...

    createEmptyMovieClip ("anim", 0); create a new, but empty film (anim) clip
    anim.loadMovie ("animation.swf"); load "animation.swf" into the void (anim) video clip
    Anim._x = 100; Adjust the position of the imported file "animation.swf".
    Anim._y = 100;

    I clicked on a first framework on a layer on the timeline and inserted the above actionscript code, with the anim.loadMovie function calls the external swf file.  However, when I do this, the drumming swf loaded and displayed on the top of my banner, and I see no banner at all.

    I tried to put the script on multiple layer action so that the swf file will play behind the other layers in the banner, but again it keep loading on the banner.

    I hope you know what I'm saying here and what I'm trying to achieve.  Also to add that I am not very good with flash at all (as you have probably already guessed) so ideas tutorial or instructions on how to do this would be ideal.

    Kind regards

    Volterony22

    Hello

    Just to make it simple, create an empty clip on the stage itself rather than use an actionscript and use the actionscript code just to load external swf file in the clip.

    Create an empty clip on a layer below your expected layer where you want to load an external swf on the stage. Now, you can position the empty clip to the desired direction x, y on the stage OR you can use actionscript code to do. Give an instance name to this empty clip called "loadermc" in the properties panel. Add the following at the top most layer code (have one devoted to stocks if you have not already)

    your movie clip instance void name.loadMovie ('your external SWF file URL');

    loadermc.loadMovie ("animation.swf");

    If you do not position the empty movieclip earlier, you can use your code to make

    Anim._x = 100; Adjust the position of the imported file "animation.swf".
    Anim._y = 100;

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you!

  • Optimize the Flash banner with bitmap images

    Hello

    I have to produce an announcement of Flash banner for my business. The specs are Flash 8 to 30 KB maximum.

    My company wants more high resolution possible and fluid animations, but no matter what I have, or I have to lower the resolution of my images or do the more static ad, that which no not my company is happy!

    I save images to the right size, so I do not adapt them in Flash

    I open each bitmaps and change their quality individually

    I clicked on the movie button compress

    I have optimized all forms that are in the film

    I made sure all the used more than once or animated objects are movieclips

    I used the optimizer based on CSSTidy SWF, but it made no difference.

    Is there something else that I missed?

    Thank you very much for any answer

    Sandra

    He are really no tricks to this, everything that needs to be done, and you have seem to have tried it before you posted.  Either you dynamically load things or you reduce the weight of that contains the file.  The swf file will carry the weight of any files used in that you imported to the library, including images, sounds and video, if you need the use of such things and maximize what you don't use before you import it.  Graphics created with Flash are very economical, as well as actionscript code, so they should be used as a preference.

  • Conversion a flash banner for Adobe Web, animation in a loop and ending the endframe

    Hello

    I have a web banner Flash 5.5 I want to convert in the file "adobe" to the output as HTML5 canvas.

    The banner must loop for 30 seconds and ends on an endframe.

    To do this in flash I have on the first image. :

    if(Count == undefined) {}

    Count = 0;

    }

    Then this action script on the framework that I wish a loop from (122 frame)

    Count ++;

    if(Count == 4) {}

    gotoAndPlay (124);

    }

    123 frame I have:

    gotoAndPlay (1)

    Frame 124 has my end frame melted to the top and frame 131a:

    Stop();

    How do I do this in CANVAS?

    Thank you

    Here is a simple loop:

    If (! this.looped) this.looped = 1;

    If (this.looped ++ == 3) this.stop ();

    For what you want, you can change it like this:

    Section 122:

    If (! this.looped) this.looped = 1;

    If (this.looped ++ == 3) this.gotoAndPlay (124);

    Section 123:

    this.gotoAndPlay (1)

    Section 131:

    This.Stop ();

    Although I recommend actually using the labels image instead of chassis numbers so that your code does not break, if you change the length of your timeline.  Which would look like this:

    Section 122:

    If (! this.looped) this.looped = 1;

    If (this.looped ++ == 3) this.gotoAndPlay ("end");

    Section 123:

    this.gotoAndPlay ("intro")

    Section 131:

    This.Stop ();

    Yes, you can embed codes via object > insert html in the pages of Muse, as animation can be added to the sites created in Muse.

  • Want to integrate my buttons created with After Effects in a new flash banner

    Ok. It is therefore a fundamental issue, I'll have, but I'm having a hard time finding how to get all this to come together.

    I had created a few buttons navagational in After Effects, because I liked the animation that I could do with the text, and now I would throw the new buttons on a banner. Problem I have is that Flash seems to want to separate the different aspects of the button. It doesn't seem to treat it as a uniform object. I can't just put the different buttons on the stage and let it run. (Or at least, I can't find out how).

    In any event I try to understand what I go along and I know this must be a pretty basic thing, but without any background that it is, I don't know where to look for this sollution.

    Thanks for any help.

    I guess that you have exported your animation in sequels as a videoformat/image sequence.

    Your needs the best target format must be a sequence of named png:

    IMG_1, img_2... img_100.

    Create an empty symbol (movieClip) and go to file > import

    then import the first frame of your movie, Flash needs

    ask you sth like: Theis photo seems to be part of a sequence of images.

    you want to import the entire sequence-> Yes

  • Problems with the pop-up menus of blu - ray

    I made the mistake of pointing this issue/problem on another similar post so here is still for some:

    I got this error message at the end of the generation of disc:

    Blu - ray error: "fatal error". Code: "6", notes: "the Graphics buffer overruns. & #8232; -not multiplex with maximum IG PTS: 54900000 (in 90kHz).

    I'm working on blu - ray is a live concert of 87 min with about 8 other much shorter deadlines.  The main menu has 6 buttons with a background of movement.  There are a few sub-menus as well, but the problem came when I started to make the context menus for the different timelines.

    It is the first project where I had to really explore the possibliltes and limitations of context menus again.  I burned a disc to test with just a pop-up menu base to see what the opacity of the menu would look over the final video.  All video assets were installed to transcode "automatically".  All the audio supports are blu - ray compatible ac3 Surround or stereo WAV 16 bit so could be left as "not transcode.  This disc perfectly.

    I then went through the process involved enough to make a final version of the main menus pop up.  Context menu of the main concert is 5 pages (including page 0).  There are specific menus of other timelines, but those who have no more than 2 pages.  None of the menus have more than 10 keys.

    I tried to burn the disc, and he returned with the above error.  After reading other posts, I thought that it was worth trying to remove the AuthorScriptHDMVSessions file before you start a new burn because it was already filled with files from my test burn.  That did not help.

    Any idea or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    After countless tests and research, I finally have a blu - ray burned successfully with several contextual menus pages (that satisfies me) work.  Thanks to all who gave the theoretical orientation and suggestions in emails and other messages.  There had been no shortage of quirks and obstacles to overcome in trying just to make a blu - ray player.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time to identify precisely what was causing the error message.  The project just has to be.

    Main popup menu has 4 pages, with 13 buttons on each page.  Only about 5-9 on the "buttons" on each page are buttons that have a link anywhere.  The other buttons on each page only serve the remaining substantive pieces of the menu and are not accessible on the final drive.  Totally ridiculous how to make backgrounds for menus, but it works.

    Among other things I've learned about the menus pop - up + more misc:

    1. If possible, quite create a menu .psd before you import it into a project yet.  Create the button order in the .psd you want that he will eventually be the end (the bottom layer is 1 key).  If you edit and resave order once it has been brought, yet almost always return it to some strange order of buttons (possibly original).  You will spend all your time to re-routing of navigation button and change their numbers, only to discover later that even changed any return without notice.

    2. as many people of State, preferred to have still to make a reflection as little as possible  All my button groups initially had text layers in their breast with some fx applied.  I have merged each text layer down in the bottom layer of this button to essentially rasterize the text with the fx applied.  Each (+) group button so only was a Higlight and a background layer.  After doing this for all the buttons, the .psd file size is greatly reduced.  Naturally, I've saved a copy before you go through the process of merger where I never had to go back and change the text.

    3. originally, the background for the menus were made to cut out a rectangle of the background of the main menu.  It was the width of the frame and about 1/5 of the height.  I had changed the opacity to around 60% and cut the pieces to go with their respective button.  For the final disc, I just did a shape with the rounded and filled with solid color Rectangle tool.  It's likely that about half the size of the pop-up menu original background.  I changed its opacity as well, but then he merges with a layer of white so still didn't have to think about the opacity setting.

    4. I encoded all the video elements BEFORE they were brought into the project.  There are some problems with how the sizes of the files are interpreted by yet, but I will not trust him to encode anything again.

    5. for some reason any still wants to transcode 16 bits, .aiff files .wav files, 48.0 kHz by a blu - ray, but 16-bit 48.0 kHz do NOT need Trancoder (for DVD and blu - ray).
