  We were see switchis sig alerts with gravity high and port 0 that are not blocked by IPS of the victim. All other ports are blocked are the same sig alert. I understand that port 0 is not valid port for traffic, but I read some articles which suggests there have been reports of port 0 being used to test and/or DDoS attacks. We do not know whether we should change the rule of action to block port 0 or if it is still possible.

  You have a sample alert you can share - strip anything sensitive (ip, data context, etc.)... I suspect that you see a summary alert when the port gets zeroed - in the alert, you will see that there is indication 'summary' - individual alerts consumed by the alert of synthesis would be to drop packets if it was the action that is affected.

  Now, instead of buying a new laptop, I can get a motherboard the g7-2000 used for a small price (which has HM76 chipset so I can put end 3rd generation intel core CPU, has a better discrete gpu, support of usb 3.0 etc..)

  I was check part numbers, specifications and images online and it seems to be that slight differences between 1300 series motherboard and a series of 2000, so I ask here, someone do such a thing? Replacing the motherboard with a series of 2000? Was this a correct adjustment? Everything worked fine?

  It does not appear as if it will fit. Look at the pictures of these two systemboards, and you will see that the boards mounting holes are not the same. This would also likely that external ports probably don't line up precisely enough to adapt to the back part of the base of the laptop case.

• LaserJet 1300: is it laserjet 1300 printer driver for Windows 10?

  I just bought a new laptop for home use - Windows 10 rounds.  I've been using a printer LaserJet 1300 (connected to a docking station, which is connected to the laptop) during the years that I LIKE, but can't seem to find a driver for printer LaserJet 1300 for WIndows 10.  It does not exist, and if yes, what is the link to it?

  The drivers are all the same, no matter what port is used.  The port just determines the method to which the work reached the printer.  Parallel, USB or network.  Parallel ports of will disappear and most computers only support usb and network as well as some who support wireless where the printer has wireless capabilities.  Here is the link to the drivers on the hp site.

  You may also download driver usb, since it seems that hp has a special for use with the printer driver.

• HP laserjet 1300: after updated W10 at another level cannot print locally on connected LaserJet 1300 preinstalled

  Recencly upgraded to Windows 10 year old PC.  The printer, usb, is a HP Laserjet 1300 and the upgrade found a driver and local printing works very well.  I have a home network that an old XP pc is connected to and used the 1300 without problem.  Upgrading to W10 came from W8.1 and whatever the driver he had allowed things to work.  On the XP poster print spooler and the error now.  HP Print and Scan Doctor run on the W10 pc indicates bad port, but it cannot be changed.   The port on the pc W10 is DOT4_001.  Doctor print run on the XP indicates that the printer is indeed available, but printing fails.  The W10 pc is W10 home so I can do the print management service to see what real driver has been installed.   The print doctor also pointed out that the full usb support is not installed.  I don't know what it is and clicking on get the software takes me to the center of hp supporot.

  I would appreciate anyones ideas on how to solve this problem.

  I got the printer work from XP to pc W10.

  The upgrade of the W10 has not created a home network as what was there in W8.1.  I had created and made there several days that the residential group names are the same, etc.  Even without the network in place, worked a ping from one to the other.

  I had old information to work for nearly 30 years as a programmer for fortune 500 company system and that he was referring to XP and more recent Windows system, demanding that internal guest account is active.

  Download and save the driver on desktop screen. Make sure that the USB cable is not connected to the port on the computer before you start the installation of s/w. If the same error on the subject not compatible operating system, press on and hold down the CTRL + SHIFT keys on the keyboard and click CANCEL on the error message.

  It ignores the error and we will install the s/w.

• How to restore printing on HP 1300 after trying with the printer off?

  A print request is sent directly to a printer HP LaserJet 1300 connected - through the cable to the parallel port, port DOT4_001-to my PC - Windows XP SP3 - when the printer is not powered. The print request fails. The printer power is on then. This print request and all following print request fail. Turning on the printer down then upward does not change the State. The cancellation of all requests for printing and reissue of a request still does not work. The only way I found to solve that this is, with the printer power on, power off then turn on the PC. Then, all exceptional printing applications has not been cancelled are respected, as well as all new.

  Is it possible to unlock the print requests requiring no power down/up the PC?

• IPS GIS 3030 event Action filter does not

  Hi guys,.

  On my 4240 and IPS IDSM2 tried applying the event action to filter this GIS were firing from the internal IP and goes on all internal IP ports. Signature continue to be reported to my respective boxes in MARCH. I tried different combinations of internal IP addresses and filter still does not work. I also moved the filter up to the first position in the list. This is the only filter out of dozens who does not work, btw.

  I think I know what is happening. Don't forget, event filters action simply removes the actions for the alarm. This particular alarm contains a few destination outside your filter IP addresses, so that actions are not taken.

• Design of bridge of 1300 AP/change

  I have a client w / a 1300 AP filled in two buildings (building A, building B).  Background - building has had Internet, building B does not.  The link was constantly going down, so it was turned off and both sites now have Internet.  From time to time, building Internet B falls down (cheaper service) and would like to resurrect the wireless for failover.  There is no documentation, and we found the Air-PWRINJ-BLR2 unit, but can not find the AP unit without mounting in attics.  What is the device that allows us to configure it?  It has a port console - also the IP address is configured on the unit seems to be on the same LAN segment in building A (192.168.10.250 & 192.168.10.251).  I would like to place both ends of the bridge (the building) wireless in a static road route and DMZ port.  How the hell do I realize that if the bridge is configured with the same LAN segments as A building?  I have a router w / ready to plug several ports.

  I just need building B to be able to access the Internet via A building if their default internet goes down.

• Autonymous 1300 AP wireless bridge - BVI1 and bridge group Question

  Hi all

  I am setting up two 1300's as a bridge wireless, but I' am not going to use in the network, vlan 2 vlan 1 is my managent.  Does this mean that I won't be able to manage the wireless bridges because only the Group 1 bridge can route ip?

  I configured bridges wireless with the network infrastructure such as vlan vlan 2 on the SSID and I created a control2 on both AP quit my BVI1 on both sides.  AP associate between them, but I could not telnet or ping the bridge on the vlan 2.  I went then to the vlan 1 as the infrastructure vlan and I turned to BVI1 upward.  Then I could ping and telnet to the bridge wireless between the bridges.

  So with the installer, I want bridges will be managed locally via the console?

  The other issue I have is that I have a vlan 900 for the voice across the bridge but bridge-group # s only go up to 255, will my traffic vlan 900 still cross the bridge without the configuration of the bridge Group on the dot11 and fa0 subinterfaces?  Thank you

  No need to create control2... BVI 1 is sufficient and map the SSID of the Valn 2... This will be enough to get the operational wireless network. the switch port configuration must be a trunk allowing all the VLANS.
