• Lightroom on a portable player

  I spend a lot of time at work, but cannot use their computer to run Lightromm (I have no admin status) is it possible to install and run LR on a portable player?

  I don't think that would not be possible. Speaking from the perspective of working with windows, there are a number of registry entries that need to be put in place in order for Lightroom work. Just having the program installed on a disk external hard is not going to give what it takes to run the program to the computer.

  When you run the file vmwarevm located on a portable player of two different machines due to having a machine at home and the other at the office that I get a message on the machine to be moved or copied, I know not what the best choice or if it's important?

  You run the same VM only only once on each PC?  Then choose "I moved it.  If you choose "I copied it", a new UUID is generated, with a new random MAC for the virtual network adapter address.  This is likely to affect the Windows Activation (if it's a Windows guest).

• Portable player ejects too easily

  Bought a new laptop disk Seagate 3 gigabytes at Costco for my MacBook Pro.  It works fine as long as I'm using an external key on board and do not touch the MBP.  But the slightest movement of the computer or the player locked.  I had another drive portable Seagate as the excellent worked for the first year, and then he began to do the same thing, where the reason I bought a new.  I tried the new on another machine and it ejected as soon as I moved just so I know that's not the computer.  I tried another cable, same result.  So now I have 2 portable drives that only work if I keep them perfectly still.  Is this a common problem?

  Try a different cable or a different box.

  Perhaps it means switch brands.

  My Teac dw 224th Player Toshiba Satellite 1130-z28 does not work. I have the problem I tried to replace it with 3 different types of cd rom drive and none worked.

  The led light, but I can't boot from them and windows doesn'n even recognize them. Is it possible my laptop works with the same kind of player?

  The same drive is always better, because on this way, you will be sure that it will work properly 100%. In my opinion you have some compatibility issue because each car can not be used with any laptop. Unfortunately there are no public list with compatible readers but this info you can get from Toshiba service partner in your country.

  I recently updated my Windows7 for Windows 10 laptop.  I can read my DVD without problem.   But cannot read any CD.  I don't know if this laptop can read CDs at all, or do I have to install new software?

  This problem is often due to the lack of codecs that come with the built-in MS Reader

  My suggestion is that you give up the built-in player and switch to use the VideoLAN player.

  I want to use Lightroom CC on my home and school computers. However, I can not install anything to the school training, and I was wondering if there is a way to install lightroom on a laptop hard drive such as the My Passport external hard drive. I can move the images back without any problems, I just need a way to use the program at the school.

• MOBILE VERSION DOES NOT WORK!  Adobe is not aware that encrypted forms fail using portable player?

  I created a PDF form in Acrobat 9 Pro and it encrypted with a password.  No other restrictions were placed on the document.

  When I open the document on an android (tablet or phone) device or an iPod, it does not fill in all the fields where apply a signature of any kind.

  However, when I opened the exact shape even with the desktop (XI player) version, it allows me to fill and sign without problem.

  I have no problem filling and applying a signature to a mobile device when the document is not encrypted.

• Replace the CD/DVD with a blu - ray on a HP Pavilion dv4t-1300 player portable player.

• I'm transferring my photos on a portable player, but all my development settings have now disappeared

  Curious to see if there are gifts around that. There is a file in the program that I could copy and photos to preserve what I've done for them? I wouldn't really go back to each of them on the new drive.

  If you're just starting out, and if your existing in-house catalog does not, by far, the easiest path is to choose "Export AS Catalog", select external and check to include image files. So let LR do its thing.

  Double click on the LR catalog on externally should be the next step, and everything must be now as it was on the inside only.

• Questions of portable Bootcamp

  I recently created a drive windows laptop 10 using my MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012) using a HDD external 500 GB and WinToUsb. It was working fine and everything was ready for use, so I inserted my USB with bootcamp files downloaded using the bootcamp application (so yes, the latest version of bootcamp) and installed all the drivers using setup.exe.  You must restart the drivers take effect and once rebooted I hold down option, click the reader portable and stuck on a black screen which requires me to eventually shut down the computer using the power button.  I was able to restart the player successfully in windows while it was set up originally on the disk until that which points to the drivers. I tried to reinstall a clean version of windows 10 and reinstall the drivers, but the same problem occurred.  I also thought it might just be install something then I let sit for hours, but still a black screen. Every third time (for some strange reason) when I have the boot disk, I get a prompt saying windows was arrested wrongly and I'm able to boot in safe mode sense, that the problem must be the bootcamp drivers. I'm not sure which driver is causing the problem and how to avoid it or repair. Anyone else has this same problem or know a solution? Any help would be great account where I put far too much time in this!

  UPDATE - to be more precise on the screen goes black: I click on the portable player to start windows, windows turns the wheel starts, and then the screen goes black. Sometimes it will come back but then freeze just when the wheel rotation for windows returns to the top. Once fixed on the blank screen or the spinning wheel, fans of kick and that is where it is blocked. I hope this helps!

  My motherboard the HP G56-130SA died on me and I want to take out the HARD drive and install in my office to copy files on. Can anyone put me in the right direction in order to get an adapter (the United Kingdom) which will connect the cable of the HARD disk on my desktop SATA? Preference in-House then I can reuse as a spare drive!

  Have the same problem with the slimline DVD drive. I got a lead for the SATA but not the power cable.

  The DVD player has a different connector. 'S called it miniSATA.

  However, a (SATA) hard drive of the laptop connects to the same connectors SATA Office. Same data and power cables. If your portable player seems different, it is just in a basket that had to be removed to expose the naked reader or has a connector on to attach to the motherboard for the laptop. I assure you that there is a regular SATA drive. Just open the side of the desktop and connect a SATA cable data and power on the drive from the laptop and the other end to the mother/power supply card and the reader will register and you can copy files over, it pick up when you're done.

  Many jobs now have a support to mount a 2.5 drive inches (mainly for the SSD) but if yours doesn't, you can get a 2.5 inches for support adapter 3.5 inches like that and permanently mount the drive of the laptop in the office.

• Cannot install hard disk Portable Toshiba on HP20 - 2105A

  I bought a Toshiba 1 TB USB 3.0 portable hard drive (model No. DTB310) and when I plug the USB 3.0 cable, the computer shows that the folder is empty, i.e. There is no setup.exe file. I use a HP20 - 2105A with 8.1-64-bit Windows computer (bought in September 2014). I have 5 USB ports, but am not sure that this model has ports 2.0 or 3.0 and have tried them all with zilch response. Any ideas, or if I blew $79?
