  I'm not 100% sure but I think that that it will not support a higher resolution. In my opinion, it is according to the performance of the graphics card and the resolutions supported and not according to the used port.

• How can I reduce the resolution of a photo I have integrate it?

  I have some pictures full-resolution images related to a (CS4) Illustrator file. They are part of a conception of flyers for my photography business.

  My problem is, because they are full resolution narrowed down to just an inch or two of the photos overall, they are very high dpi... much higher than necessary they are, I just need them to be 300 dpi.

  I send the Illustrator file to internet printing service to have my printed prospectus. This means I have to integrate the images as the upload must be a single file, there is also a size limit of 8 MB, so to get the full resolution photos on there will be no do, as the file size is greater than 40 MB.

  What I need is the way to lower the resolution, an embedded image, or to select the resolution it will be incorporated in front I integrate it.

  The only way that I can think is to load each picture in Photoshop, calculate the pixel dimensions to be 300 DPI in my flyer design, narrow it down to these dimensions, save each one in a new file, recreate a link to my photos in Illustrator for new files, stir and then delete the new files.   You cannot add true / resolution of the details of an image that is not captured when the photo was taken. Photo editing applications can adjust the sharpness, remove noise, etc., but they can't add true / resolution details and results may vary, massively, the photo and the filter/tool used (and configuration for tools).

  If you have reduced the resolution of the original image to store it on Google Drive, then I suggest that go back you to the use of the original image (if you still have a copy).

  I just upgraded to CS3 Master Collection CS5 Design Premium, but now can not select the PPD desired to generate the PostScript file in InDesign CS5.
