• InDesign CC 2014 "can't export the PDF file.

  I am trying to export a small document to PDF using InDesign CC 2014, something I've done many times before, but it now says "unable to export the PDF file.

  There is no errors in the document (at least according to the preflight Panel) and the error does not say why InDesign doesn't have to export the PDF file.

  Does anyone have suggestions on what to check to find out what it is exactly that InDesign cannot or will not do?

  I recently purchansed a new MacBook Pro and decided to reinstall the software rather than migrate everything from my old laptop. I reinstalled CS5 Design Suite and everything is fine, except that I can write is more PS since Illustrator files. I installed my HP P1102w PPD, it is the only printer I use at home, but when I select Print > Adobe Postscript - printer > I can't select the PPD. I build graphics Lounge when I send proof to my client, it's how to make a PDF letter size. PostScript > distiller > Email. Is this "user error" or a problem of Lion? Is there a work around?

  

  Okay, well the suggestion in the link above does not work BUT after I restarted my computer for the second time, the HP's PPD decided appears in unrolling PPD.

  I had restarted because it asked me to update the firmware, but for some reason, it took a second time. Problem solved!

  View blurry in InDesign: choose View > display performance > high quality screen

  Blurry printing InDesign: Choose file > print > graphics > Images > data send: all

  Fuzzy in PDF format: fix above points first. make sure that the links are up-to-date; post a screenshot here your PDF export settings.

  • In Acrobat or Reader, choose file > print.

  • Click on properties.

    

  • Click the Layout tab. This dialog box varies with the printer. It is possible that your dialog box does not match the dialogs below.

    

    Please search for the Page layout option & select single side printing.

  Hello. I have Indesign CS5.5 on PC but I worked on a document with the trial of CS6. I put a table of contents (in the UI, not in the pages of the book).

  I'm ready to export the document. In CS5.5, I have the possibility to check the Document to export the paragraph Style , and then select the style that I want my book to be split at. It still works fine.

  However, when you use the CS6 to export to epub, I select the Advanced tab. The Split Document box does not list the style I want to use to split the document.

• Dreamweaver CS5 won't start, can't find the configuration file

  Dreamweaver can not locate the resource file in the Configuration folder. This file is required to run Dreamweaver. Please reinstall the application.

  Found the file configuration, but on my roaming profile on the server, not on the C drive.

  Note that I have installed Dreamweaver on the second partition of the hard drive, not on C drive due to lack of space. Other software Adobe CS5 work well, like Photoshop and InDesign.

  I tried to delete the Configuration file (after saving), I read on this forum that it should be automatically recreated, but without success. Tried to copy the Configuration (in fact the entire Adobe folder) folder for the user profile on the C drive, but without success.

  No previous version of Dreamweaver has been installed on this PC. However, I have used earlier versions on different computers and there are in the Adobe folder on my roaming profile of CS4 and CS6 tracks.

  I've been using excel to place several tables in my InDesign CS5 document which will require the update on a regular basis. The tables are already formatted in excel, so I will place in InDesign with formatting and you will usually have to reduce proportionally the tables as soon as they are in InDesign CS5. When I'll update the links, it is important the content of the tables as part of current text with larger text and I am unable to "Insert the picture content" or "shrink content proportionally." Nobody knows how to solve this problem or know of another way to link excel with formatting tables and update without having to reformat the table (i.e. to resize the image and text) every time that happens an update? Thank you!!

  When you use an external monitor with my R200, I can't select the screen's native resolution (1680 * 1050). According to Intel, the Toshiba support page display driver is old (version 6.14.10.4267) and I need to install the latest version (6.14.10.4096). Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation for more information. "Yet the Nikon D800 is on the list of supported devices.  Can anyone help?
