Portege R500 - I've got two unknown devices after installing XP
Hello
I am looking drivers for the two unknown devices in the hardware Manager:
alias
"Intel(r) 82801GBM (ICH7-M/U) LPC Controller"
and
'System compatible ACPI Microsoft'
Thank you
Roger
Hello
Have you installed all the drivers Toshiba XP which appear on the European driver from Toshiba site?
There is also a training installation document that gives the proper installation order. Please check if all the XP drivers were installed, as mentioned in this doc.
In addition, you should check if you have installed the MS WinXP SP2 and Utility Intel chipset.
Greetings

Tecra A7: Two unknown devices after installing the OS Win
Hi all
Recently bought an A7 and was convinced all the preinstalled software Toshiba slowed things. Managed to fresh install windows, then use Toshiba Apps Installer to restore items that I really wanted to. Everything went well and the computer is about two times faster now. However, I have two following unknown devices:(1) device type: other devices
Location: on Intel(r) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface Controller - 27 b 9
Hardware ID: ACPI\IFX0102(2) device type: other devices
Places: On system compatible ACPI Microsoft
Hardware ID: ACPI\TOS620AI installed the latest Intel Chipset drivers and no luck. Perhaps one of them is the sound card (although I have installed the drivers as well) and one of them HARD drive Protection (that I have no intention of installing anyway).
If someone can confirm what they are it would be much appreciated.
Kind regards
ChristinHello
Installing drivers and utilities Toshiba should be made in the right order.
The chipset utility must be installed at the beginning and then the common modules.
You must use the form chipset the Toshiba site. The Tecra M7 also supports the protection of the HARD drive. Normally you will find it at the last position under "Audio, video and game controllers" in Device Manager.
I found this document Toshiba how to identify an unknown device:

Before installing vista, have you checked if there are external devices connected to the system?

Tecra M7 unknown device after installing Win XP
Hello
I have a Tecra M7 Tablet PC.
After installing Windows XP Tablet PC edition and all the drivers for the Toshiba Homepage there are 3 s "unknown device" in Device Manager.
I installed the Ethernet drivers, but I do not see the adapter to the source 'network '.
What can I do to fix this?
MFG pizzaMAN
Since I n don't know what you mean devices I can't provide you with any information on the necessary drivers
You're talking about Ethernet driver you are meaning the LAN or WLan?
Usually the two cards (Wlan & Lan) should appear in devices-> network cards Manager
If there is an unknown device then it would mean that one of the pilots was not installed. On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find two Intel LAN drivers.
Check both!I put t know what your laptop wireless network card is because the Tecra M7 has been equipped with various wireless network cards, but all the drivers (Intel, Atheros) are placed on the page and you should try it!

E3 112 showing unknown devices after installing Windows 10 build 10240
I improved my 112 E3 with a Samsung Evo 850 120 GB SSD and installed Windows 10 build 10240.
In Device Manager, I have a few unknown devices and two others with no driver.
Can someone tell me what these are, as I can't seem to find the drivers at all and if I disable or remove, they come back just after each start up...
I don't know if they will work on windows 10 but:

INSA everyone,
After a marathon of several pre upgrades and updates post, I got up my VAIO DUO (svd13217PA) and running well, yet, the only glitch that occurred to me was the unknown device marked as ACPI\INT33D6\5 & 15d725f4 & 0.
All ideas,

Pavilion 11 x 2: unknown device after installing Windows 10
After the upgrade to Windows 10 my Device Manager shows that my PCI encryption/decryption controller has no driver installed. I tried to use the HP Web site to get all the drivers, but it still doesn't load the drivers Intel Trusted Execution and now shows "unknown device" with no driver loaded. How can I solve this?
You are the very welcome.
The driver that I posted did not work is because the Intel CITY device has been successfully installed.
The unknown device is a totally different animal, and he needs this driver...
This package contains the driver which allows Intel DynamicPlatform firmware and frame heat. AndThermal framework of Intel dynamic platform providing system utilizationinformation of temperature and power to the thermal protection system work properly. This package is provided for the laptop models running the asupported operating system.

Satellite A500 - unknown device after installing Win7
Hello
I just installed Windows 7 64 bit in my laptop Toshiba Satellite A500-132 and in Device Manager its saying that there is no unknown device ACPI\ENE0200. Do you know what drivers should I install?
And the second problem is that when I installed the pack value there is usually a red light that shines through the headphone jack, but when I installed the audio driver of light disappeared and doesn t shine more.
Y at - it a fix for this?
Hello
I agree with the user above. This sounds like the CIR port and you need to download this driver.
But I a bit confused about the light in the headphone jack of Mr. are you sure that there's a light or you can post a photo for example?

Satellite A100-237: unknown device after installing Vista
Hi all
Just installed vista on my A100-237... After doing the upgrade of the BIOS and the installation of the "unknown device" Value Pack, with the location "on system compatible ACPI Microsoft" appeared in my device manager, any ideas on how to address this issue?
Thanks in advance!
Hello
Could you please check if you can see the 'Batteries' entry under ' computer in Device Manager?
As far as I know that the entrance of batteries should have a "Microsoft SMART Battery" & "Microsoft SMART Battery subsystem. If there is an unknown device, this might have something to do with Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller.
In this case it seems that you need a driver for MS SMART SMART Battery & MS battery subsystem.pleasae also check this thread;

Satellite A200 - unknown device after installing XP
Hello.
Satellite A200 PSAE6E.
Install Windows XP instead of Vista.Everything well instead of a thing. Device Manager indicates PCI Memory controller is peripheral unknown and showed the symbol of the brand in question.
What could do? I think I installed all the drivers that were possible to download from Toshiba support.
Any suggestions? Really appreciate it.
Peace!
You will never find a driver for XP PCI memory controller.
This material is only supported by Vista and so you can ignore this yellow exclamation point.Furthermore, cela I found on the Toshiba site:

Satellite NB10-A-10V: unknown device after installing Win 7
Hello forum,.
I have installed Win7 in my brand-new NB10-A-10V.
This was made possible thanks to BIOS 1.60.I can say that everything works OK and have found all the familiar features and behaviors provided by Win7.
But the Win7 installation is not perfect yet; There is a missing driver, as reported by the Device Manager:* ! * Coding/decoding +(sorry my Win7 is the French version) PCI controller +.
His ID is PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_0F1
I do not know what is controlled here, since as I said I did not notice a problem with my NB10 or Win7.
Can someone tell me what is this + controller +? And just for the sake of pleasing the Device Manager, can someone point me to the missing driver?
All the best, Matitic
According to the PCI database http://www.pcidatabase.com/ news
The ID of FRI (seller) means 8086 and ID DEV (device) appears to be related to the chipset driver or USB driverBoth are on the page of the Toshiba UE driver
