Ports USB 3.0 on Pavilion hp8 - 1070t does not

Just bought a HP Pavilion HPE h8xt (also called hp8 - 1070-t) with the player 15-in-1 memory card, 4-port USB 2.0 (front), audio, 2 USB (rear-facing top of page).  The upper part (rear panel) USB ports are USB 3.0.  They do not work.  Device Manager reports "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the required drivers for the device (Code 31)." These ports are detached from the motherboard (IPIS8-CH2).  The pilot is reported as < tihub3.sys=""> . HP support wants me to a full recovery, but it's a waste of work of three days that I am not willing to take as every other thing on the machine works.  People tell me that others have had this problem with this device.  Someone at - he found a solution?

HP support has not been able to find me that the right chip drivers, which gives me sp4787.exe.

Hello

When you plug the USB 3.0 on a USB 2.0 device, you should see the following message is displayed:

Now if you do not see this message then the USB 2.0 controller is probably not setup in device management to provide notification.

You can also download PC Wizard (it's a gift) and it will give you more information about your USB 3.0 controller.

So, how do you know if your USB 3.0 really works your expectations?

Download HD Tune and the reference device when it is plugged into a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port. There should be a difference. You may or may not like the difference.

I compared my USB 3.0 flash drive and it is 60% faster on the USB 3.0 port.

According to who, the error condition is: 'non-functional CPU.

So if I buy a new processor and disassemble the laptop and replace the processor, it will fix the problem?

Perhaps, but it is much more likely to be the motherboard. If the motherboard is bad, you can't trust the blink codes that it generates. Failures of the CPU but rarely occur. Motherboard failure happens all the time.

  • The sound on my HP Pavilion G6-1a19wm does not work

Hi the sound on my HP Pavilion G6-1a19wm does not work.   His "only" works when you use the audio plug with external speakers.   I tried to uninstall the driver, update the driver, microsoft fix - it and troubleshooting steps.  audio device present in the Device Manager and supposedly working properly, mute is "not"on."  visually everything audio related things suggest that the audio is fine and troubleshooting finds no problem... what else could it be?

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp55001-55500/sp55036.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  Left click 'Speakers and headphones' (or speakers/HP) once to highlight and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

and when I put inside my computer I hear the BLOOP sound when I insert it and also when I go out, I hear a noise... but when I go to my computer it does not appear...
It worked before, I inserted my USB Flash driver inside my computer... then when I right click on a file inside driver flash my computer got stuck and I force restarted my PC with exit it restarts normally and after that it doesn't work any more I just hear sounds when I insert the USB key inside and outside.
    I tried things.
-Troubleshooting and it didn't help me at all... He didn't show me something when he finished it.
-Tried restarting the computer and access bios and active in the advanced settings in the number 3 to USB - ZIP
-J' inserted behind my computer and also in front of the computer USB flash driver.
-Computer all analysed in depth scan with Advanced System Care Pro 5.4 and did not help even after a reboot.
-Tried to reinstall the driver for the "Device Manager" USB flash drive
-IMPORTANT! I tried to plug this USB on another computer and it arises there, but could not access the USB key, I tried to format and it says error and he said that he could not format... I tried to format it in NTFS, fat32, with formats fast and quick, but nothing has worked.

Help me please :| What should I do?

    Hey sam1502,

Let me know what happens if you copy files from the USB on your desktop, then open it in Reader.

If the error persists, then try to disable the Protected Mode under ' Edit > Preferences > (protection) "and see if that helps.

  • HP Pavilion P2-1140 does not have a way to connect to a Firewire port and USB transfer is not supported by Windows 7 to connect the Sony HC20 Handycam.

    Original title: Sony Hanycam HC20

I just bought a HP Pavilion P2 - 1140 W7 64 bit and may not know how to download video from my Sony Handycam HC-20 who

using a Firewire connection. P2-1140 does not have a way to connect to a Firewire port and USB transfer is not supported by Windows 7.

I looked in the spec of my card mother HP and there is no additional slots to add adapters, no PCI, PCI-e or anything that looks like

as if you can add anything. I know that the Firewire to USB converters cable do NOT work, any suggestions please

There are USB firewire converters, but I think it will be a situation of hit or miss--they are unable to work or perform very well.

The only option I can think of that would work would be to use AV out on the camera and a USB capture card that records on the computer.
You can also consider going back to the computer and get a different model that is built in firewire support or at least an extension connector in order to get an expansion card.
  • USB ports no-opperational in the Windows 7 environment, does not start mode command line safe

Quick description: experienced difficulty trying to reformat a HD problem. It has been suggested that I have download the diagnosis of the manufacturer. Did. Restarted the computer as required to run the new program. After reboot, no USB port work Windows. Considering that all my USB inputs, it is extremely annoying. Input devices still work on other computers and still work during the start upward (before windows), also does not open in safe mode with the command prompt.

I tried to reformat a LaCie HD that was previously used for a Mac for PC usage. Gave me a code 43 error and a problem code: 0000002B. Had a bad"block" in the HD somewhere read that I should try to use the manufacturer diagnostic tools to check the HD on.» Downloaded the "LaCie Update Tool" and installed it. It took a reboot. After the reboot, any USB devices worked. (Will begin another thread on the HD as soon as I have this problem.)

Tried to restart in Mode without failure. Then the Safe Mode with the command of the DVD prompt. (However, I'm not 100% sure that I'm loading from the DVD, I couldn't find a good answer on how to do something so basic.) Always seems to load in the window 7 - always end upwards the newspaper account on screen - certainly no command prompt.

The keyboard and mouse work on other systems and the keyboard works fine before the Windows 7 screen (the selection of mode that starts in) so I'm pretty sure that it is a Windows 7 problem. Can't really get in the error codes that I can't enter anything now or move the cursor at all. (I'll try to borrow a non-USB keyboard and mouse).

After a reboot when it asks me what I want to start the computer in safe mode or normal windows 7, loading the drivers, it stops at:

    \windows\system32\DRIVERS\CLASSPNP. SYS

I don't know if this is normal or the system stuck.

I tried a manual reset of the motherboard and deleted manually the CMOS on the motherboard did not help - but don't expect really.

I think I need to run a disk check / fix from the command prompt, but I can't even at the command prompt to the top.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer, a lot of satisfaction in advance.

    My system:

    Windows 7 64 bit

ADM Phenom 955 Black Edition Quad

    ASUS 890FXA-UD5

Microsoft USB wireless keyboard and mouse

Less relevant stuff: ADATA DDR3 1600 G XPG 2 X 2 GB, Sapphire Radeon 4670 1 GB, Western Digital Caviar Black 640 GB HD, ASUS DVD/CD drive (DRW 24B1st) Corsair TX 750 W

The Repair Mode command prompt supports USB devices. Here is how you get there:

    1. put your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
2 start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. press a button if you are prompted to start from the DVD.
    4. Select repair when prompted.
    5. Select the keyboard language when you are prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select command prompt.
In step 2, you can also use the Windows 7 installation DVD. The subsequent steps are similar to those above.

The process described above is independent of everything that is on your hard drive. If your USB devices still do not work then you probably have a motherboard problem. If it is a desktop computer then you could by a 4 port USB card.

If you get an account and password for the boot process then you dΘmarrez not from the CD/DVD. I've seen a number of messages in which people reported that they were unable to boot from the CD/DVD drive. Here are the most common reasons for these failures:
-L' poster neglected the prompt to press a key to boot from the CD/DVD drive.
-The CD/DVD boot was not a boot disk or was damaged. Use it on another machine has confirmed this.
-Some BIOS setting was incorrect. Start with some other boot CD/DVD (for example here: http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/) confirmed it.
-The CD/DVD drive has been damaged or is unable to boot from a boot CD or DVD.
-The machine has a hardware problem (for example, a motherboard problem) which prevents start in any mode.

  • HP Pavilion 500 PC H6V26AA #ABL: ports in case the computer HP Pavilion 500 PC does not

I left my computer for about two weeks. Very probably he overheated the computer case. Yesterday, I decided to shut down the computer to update. The next day, I turn on the computer and my mouse and keyboard did not work. I put on for my computer, but my computer does not respond to the mouse and keyboard. The monitor also cannot find the computer saying how there is no signal. I tried to restart the computer several times via the power button, unplug the usb cable and the power cord for the monitor several times and tested the mouse and keyboard on a different computer. When I connect to my mouse to the computer, it doesn't show the optical light red on the bottom, but it did and work on another computer. The keyboard also works on another computer. I tried to take all the cords out of the housing of the computer and the power cord of this and waiting decision, put the cords in and try again, but I does not work. I tried to go into the BIOS, but I don't know if I am pressing the combination of keys to the right or because of the fact, the computer does not respond to press me the keys on the computer. Also, before I shut down the computer I noticed that the computer reacted slow to me clicking and closing windows sometimes and I don't know if that would be linked to the problem. I can't access my computer because it does not react to the screen, the keyboard and mouse. It worked fine when I kept it and previously before when I stopped him.

    Thank you

The little beep that should be produced you lets you know that your computer has completed the Power On Self Test or POST. This test is a test of all the material base. Usually if a component such as the RAM went wrong, there will be a series of beeps that communicates what went wrong. From my experience there are two reasons why there is no postal code. The first would be that the power supply has gone wrong, no power, no MESSAGE. However, your fan turns on, indicating that there is still power. Which means the second and more serious case is most likely here. Your motherboard is probably toast. I know it's the worst possible prognosis, but I think it's just here. I'm sorry.

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop does not properly turned off

Hi everyone, I am faced with a wireframe, annoying problem with my less than a month old HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p029tx.

Sometimes, after pressing 'Shut Down', within the screen 2 seconds turns black, but the laptop would not extinguish itself, i.e. fan and power lights stays on always (once, I waited for 1 hour, like only the screen off & pc does not respond, occurs at the same time plugged / battery power). So, I press the power button for 5 seconds to turn it off. The next time he acts as restart, i.e. takes longer to boot and windows plays the startup sound.

This kind of wired issue does not occur on every stop down. It happens probably once in two days of use. Standby, hibernation works very well.

Configuration of the laptop: Pavilion 15-p029tx; 4 GB; Intel I3; 2GB NVIDIA; 8.1 Windows x 64 only language; 1 TB HARD DRIVE. Latest version of Windows, HP drivers, Antivirus updates are installed. PC is in good condition (defragmented HDD, registry, Ccleaner cleaning). Does not overheat is not possible: I have cooling pad and the weather is cold here.

Steps I performed to fix the problem: Updated to latest Bios F.12; Reset bios default setting; made all the system from the bios, no found error diagnostics. Today, I run 10 stop test with different conditions, but it has never happened during the tests! Also all the usb ports give power during this gel.

But I don't know, I would have to hold down the power button / stop again in the next two days.

Experts please help me to resolve the issue, its very annoying when I'm in hurry, hurry to stop, lid closed, and next time, when I leave the laptop in the bag, it would always be running / power!

    Sorry for my bad English.

I found the root of the problem. The culprit was Mcafee. After you remove Mcafee, it works well!

  • HP Pavilion 500 - C60: HP Pavilion 500 - C60 does not recognize the container pictures xD

My PC has a slot with an image suggesting an SD card (showing the cut upper right corner). However, the number of internal contacts seems to be two times more than necessary by an SD card. Result: no SD card fits into the slot, but a XD card seems to have the exact number of the required connectors by an XD card. And indeed the xD fits perfectly into the slot.

    So far so good.

Problem is that the Windows 8.1 does not recognize the card. I searched using Google but couldn't find a solution.

    Can anyone help?

I ended up buying a Vivitar 5 in 1 card reader that plugs into a USB 2.0 and works fine all bypassing the hp pavilion integrated card reader. This allows me to read my old card xD, but there is a work-around, not a real solution. I rest my case.
