Position of the floor CC Particle World

I have a 3d scene created in AE I try to put the fog in with CC Particle World.

I see an option for the creation of a floor that would allow fog collide and stop at the floor instead of magically passing by (which would add realism).

However, after playing around with the position of the floor, I can't understand where the word is, or how to align the fog "floor" with my real 3d floor.

Here, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Default position of the grid is the word. Adjust you it just by eyeball by the camera to the corner positioning and adjustment of the height in CC Particle World. I don't have a mathematical formula that works.

  • CC Particle World Grid disappears

    Hello:

    I'm having a problem with CC Particle World in CS5. I want to use the function of the grid so that I can align in perspective with a street. I created a camera layer, but when I click on the camera, the CC particle grid disappears. When I click on the layer of world of particles, the grid remains hidden until I click on its "fx" in the dialog box controls effects . I click on and the grid disappears again.

    Is there something I can do to make the grid do you want then?

    Here's a way to position the floor while looking at the grid:

    1. Create your publication with a single layer for Particle World and another layer to speak
    2. Before composing the layer of ground moving all the attributes and opening the demo
    3. Turn in the Transformations of the collapse on the pre-comp layer in the Comp hand
    4. Implement ETLAT (change this look here) by:
      1. Right-click in the composition window, and then select new Viewer
      2. Click just to the left of the tab of the Composition window, and then drag it to the left side of the composition window
      3. Release the mouse button when the side of the composition window lights up with a trapeze
      4. You now how two windows of composition
      5. The right model the pre-comp selected window lock
      6. Lock the compose window from left with the first selected composition
    5. Now that ELAT is installation add Particle world to the top layer in your main computer
    6. Select the demo in the scenario and add the grid to the solid as a temporary reference (you'll remove the effect later)
    7. Now return to the publication of the hand in the editing window, and set Particle World in the way that you want it to look
    8. Now lock the ECW (effects of window command)
    9. Select the demo in the scenario, and rotate 90 degrees on the x axis and move the layer floor position
    10. You will see the word in the main window and as long as Particle World is selected in the ECW you will see the grid
    11. Once the word is in the right position to remove the effect of grid

    That should do it. When you have the Setup program as you want you can copy the world of particles layer in the main computer and paste it into the demo, or you can just continue to work with the layer of soil as a demo. Your installation will be something like that.

    There is a simpler approach:

    First of all, I wouldn't change the camera settings in the particle world Extras > camera settings. I would use a camera model, but before you add a camera to the project I set my floor, discovers the leaders, then drag a guide far producer staff meets the floor and make a note of the exact value of Y. This value will be visible in the Palette of information while you drag. Now, I would like to make my floor layer 3D, rotate 90 degrees on the X axis, then descend on the y-axis, the value of pixel precise guide.     I use an expression to make it easier to amend the long-term:

    The precise mathematical approach would be to understand the position of the word mathematically. a value of 0 is the center of the layer. A value of 1 is less than 640 pixels. How do I know this? I measured using leaders. That means that a.20 (default) value would be lower center of the comp. 128 pixels to tell your comp is 1080 pixels high (HD) and the floor has been set at the default.20. Position your layer of soil there would be 540 + 128 or 668. This knowledge and a little simple math will give you an expression involving ground layer exactly the same position as the floor of world of particles.

    Yes, as I said, this is an indication that you are using the free demo of the plug-in version.

    When you purchase the full version of After Effects, you will also have the plugin CC Particle World.

  • changes to the interface of CC Particle World

    I know that this can be a bad place to post this question, as it is not Adobe After Effects part, but I was on the site of Cycore and it seems that their documentation is still available only for the previous version of Cycore FX.

    I just upgraded to After Effects CS5 and noticed that the interface for CC Particle World is different. There was once an Options dialog box that can be opened by clicking on the password Options in the upper part of the effect controls panel, and now, which seems to have disappeared.

    I don't know if I'm going to be blind, but nobody knows how force Motion Blur in CC Particle World now? Or does anyone know how to get access to the help documents or reference updated for Cycore FX 1.7?

    These options are now in the main interface in the respective groups. Motion blur should not be tilted manually, sine the plug-in will automatically respect the motion blur layer switch and act accordingly, so that the option has disappeared. And don't worry, plug-ins have been part of the AE for so long now, it's probably fair to say that they are the responsibility of Adobe at a certain level.

  • Position of the active cursors

    I'm programming an application with sliders on my graph XY. They are visible or not according to Boolean State keys programmed event. I just need to retrieve the position of the visible sliders and then transform to a material substance, but it seems that I do not use the right solution. I'll be back all positions of cursors, even the most invisible.  How can I tell the difference between the visible and the other ones? I said I can't do it one by one because I have a lot of sliders this is why I use the cursorList as you can see on the relative picture.
    Any idea?

    The list of cursor does not distinguish between visible/not visible. It will always return all cursors. If you want just the ones visible then you must browse cursors and read the Visible State. Something like this:

  • Error of WCS - Position of the map is in conflict with parents

    Hello all-

    I have a large scale of drawing of a floor of a building plan.  I added to my campus and started adding some APs.  When I saw the prediciton model, I realized that I had forgotten to properly at the scale of the drawing.  When I try to scale, I get an error message stating:

    «Error: the given width, height or the position of the map is in conflict with (building or Campus) parent 846.2 of width and length 655,3.» Please increase the size of the parent (building or Campus) through the edit page and/or ensure that the card is well positioned in parent via the edit card page. »

    I don't really know how to fix this.  I increased the size of the building to match the 846.2/655.3, but then the area showing the building is HUGE on my map of campus (Google Earth photo) and I still get the error.

    Step 1.  Go to monitor > maps > building Click > click the menu drop down and change the building > write the dimensions of the building.

    Step 2.  Go to monitor > maps > floor choose > click the menu drop down and change the floor surface.

    Make sure that the horizontal/vertical span is the same or smaller than what you got in step 1.

    The error comes from the word being larger than the building.  As a best practice, I tend to move all the cards to 0,0.

I get the concept of the takes, but I can't work out how to save the position of the head of characters and then in another concentrated on the position of the students, then to another socket just eyebrows and so on. If I try to do now he simply wrote on the previous setting. Different things have a record arm but changing just the value of the resistance. So is it possible to do or position the head, eyebrows, mouth students must be registered at the same time? Thank you

    Here's a way to try (worked for me)

    In the Panel of puppets Ch, add behavior of face for each eye and each eyebrow. In the scene, activate the record on only the face, then make a recording. Then the face, activate and deactivate the eyes (or one eye) and record. Then activate only the other eye, or eyebrows, etc.

  • CC particle world effect disappears

    I have created a Fairy Glitter effect in Particle World and copied and pasted it several times in the timeline panel without problem. When I'm at the 2 minute mark and tried to use it, the particles do not work. If I slide the solid layer, it has applied a few images, it works on the back. Move forward in the timeline beyond a specific point and that it disappears.

    I tried to adjust the RAM Preview settings. Resolution and preview mode settings. Nothing affects him. Can someone tell me why it does this?

    Provide the exact effect settings and a screenshot of the timeline. I am inclined to think that you just miss particle (visible) after a certain time depending on your settings. Perhaps their longevity is too long, maybe Your ' using of custom particles and the demo that reference you is too short and they show gaps, it is maybe something else. eitehr path, we need to know much more.

  • Is it possible to place the effects of particles associated with the character or specific layers?

    I can get an effect of particle to work on a large, its beautiful and perfect.  However, I want it to appear behind the character's body.  I not want to jet pack escape.  No matter where I place the layer of particles under the layer of body, in the layer of body, everywhere where - it seems still more the whole character when I trigger it.  So instead of exhaust gas, it appears as a fire crotch, haha.  How can I move it back?

    It is actually quite easy after I figured out, that I had to use After Effects. Which is no doubt the intention anyway.

    So I did two separate scenes in Ch - rabbit with just the dangle, then the particles. I exported the two scenes and brought in a unique model in Ae. Place the particles under the puppet and the parent particles to the puppet. Keyframe position and rotation for the puppet and the particles follow all along.

    Use the webkit API, so this isn't something you want to use in production since there is no guarantee that JavaFX will use webkit in the future. Really, the HTMLEditor should have an API editor that makes all of this transparent.

    I create a demonstration of the software using screenshots and leading edge.  There are pop-up windows in this product when the user places the mouse over a row of data and a popup appears at the mouse position with more information on these data.  I used

    and it works fine until I set stage for 'sensitive' or I scroll to the bottom of the page to access the data rows.  When this happens, the popup appears in the distance of the mouse.

    I'm not a coder strong, but anyone know how I can get on board an animation to recognize the true position of the mouse on the screen and then specify the popup to appear there?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    It is not possible. HTMLParser creates the structure of the Document (tree of items) of html text, but it has nothing to do with the content.
    Position in the html source is not correct because it can hold to support the space between the labels or tab characters or \n tanks that are ignored.

    I recently updated from CS3 to CS5.  CC Particle World (and all the CC) are not included in CS5, as they were in CS3.  I probably forgot something, but how do I get the se for CS5?

    It should come as part of your AE installation. If you are using the trial version, they will not be there, but if your version is fully registered, the CC effects should all be there.

    Have you updated to After Effects CS4 (9.0.2)? This update of the fixed crash in CC Particle World, as well as several other problems with Snow Leopard.
