Possible lemon, a lot of strange problems.

I tried this message earlier my tablet, but all programs kept crashing when wifi is crushed, then I'll try again on my laptop.

My TPT is a litle one month now, with minimal use due to some issues I had. Yesterday I tried to use it throughout the day (even if it is stuck in a hospital bed) but it kept crashing and these are the problems I encounter:

  1. The Wifi signal drops after about 10 minutes. In the wifi settings, I can't check the box to turn it back on and it says "error" underneath. The only way is to reboot, that makes me another 5-10 minutes.
  2. Because wifi drops, all the programs for a shutdown crash too, Exchange mail. Google apps, maps, etc. App most require a connection to work, so they all stop the execution.
  3. The broadband connection is weak at best. Despite my phone saying that there is a big signal, the Tablet has few links.
  4. Drop once wifi, broadband also drops and there is NO connection.
  5. Dolphin browser does not keep one of my favorites. They disappear all the time.
  6. I tried to delete an application (gotomypc). After uninstalling it, the widget disappears from the display home, but when I reboot, the app is back!
  7. I tried to do a reset of the system (under settngs / privacy / factory reset), but after checking that all data will be erased, it does not work. When it restarts, it's the same as before.
  8. I also tried the factory reset (using the turning on and tap volume up button). I select "delete all data" and "system restore." But... nothing changes... its the same as before.

Unfortunately, we must go back for repair... perhaps it should simply be replaced? It Europe as it has a lot of questions!

I will say that the Lenovo was really good on the Tablet setting!

They replaced the motherboard and I don't know what else, but it's fixed now. It took about three weeks from start to finish.

Initially, the Council was on back order, and I still receive send these notifications, which was nice, but frustrating. I called customer service and they were willing to send me a new unit, as the service was owner more than I did, but the game came the next day.

The next day, I received the repaired TFT and it works great! All previous issues have been resolved and everything works as it should.

It's moments like this, when there is a problem, a good company stands behind their products and Lenovo did just that for me.

    Then I tried to run windows 7 and the card is visible in the "Device Manager", but there is also no possibility to create the GSM connection in the connection menu in the bottom right.

    I tried a new install of Windows 7, I tried to reset the BIOS (even with the removal of the battery backup), but still I can't force them to work again. My BIOS is fully upgraded BTW: the problem appeared during the use of 2.61 and I also tried with recently published 2.62.

    My cell phone is always on the extended warranty, but as modem bought in line with the basic configuration it was only covered by the warranty of 12 months has expired

    Today it came to my mind that, as the modem itself seems a little work (present, responsive GPS device) then maybe it's a SIM card reader that is actually damaged (which would explain a bit why the camera itself is present, but I can't create a connection).     I have a strange problem on my laptop. When I uninstall my PVAT my start "FN" key works, when I install it it s not working not properly. Its market not only the volume key (F9 and F10) without pressing the "Fn", if I want to press F9 or F10 I have to press FN + F9, even with the rest of the buttons.

    When I install PVAT I have to press FN, so I can use my F keys (e.g. F3 to search on the browser tool, alt + f4 - I have to press Fn + alt + f4), and I can't use real functions like mute, disable Touchpad etc. Use the volume keys only.     Its possible to use the function buttons by pressing another button without the use of the fn or FN.
    This option can be changed in the BIOS.

    Go to the BIOS by pressing F2.
    In the BIOS, choose Advanced-> system configuration Options
    Here you should find the option that allows to change the special function keys which allows you to use the function FN or without button Fn button

    I had a strange problems using a cluster with references.

    How to reproduce the problem:

    -Open a white VI;

    -create two charts in the front panel;

    -in the block diagram, create references to two graphics;

    -connect these references to a package (not);

    -create an indicator across;

    -run the VI once;

    -Right-click on the beam indicator and change it to a control;

    -remove the references and bundle;

    -Select the control from the front panel, go to EDITION, CUSTOMIZE the CONTROL;

    -change the type strict def;

    -Save this order as Control1.ctl;

    -connect the control to a unbundle by name;

    -Right-click on the name unbundle and select one of the two graphs as an element (no matter that one select it);

    -Create a property node and feed its terminal of reference with the reference of the unbundle by name;

    -use of the 'Label.Text' property in the property node;

    -create a flag for the node of the property;

    -run the VI;

    -l' indicator will display the correct label for this chart.

    -perfect!

    If you save the VI and run again, fine.

    But... If you close it, open it again and run... you will get an error 1055 "object reference is not valid.

    Why it worked before closing?

    Do a quick experiment.

    Use Type casting to cast your Ref as a U32 and display this value on the public Service.

  • Strange problem with ASDM

    Hi, today we had a strange problem with one of our 5550. I worked through ASDM on it and all of a sudden I couldn't connect via asdm on the interface of management or inside interface. Nothing helps.

    When I connected with a vpn, then use asdm, it works. My ip on the network when it did not work was 1xx.xxx.81.235. When I use the vpn is a 1xx.xxx.55.1 from a different ip address. I can build a connection on the inside interface with asdm (with vpn).

    I tried closed and without stop the interface of man, that does not.

    It may be that the things asa, I am an intruder and dynamically blocks my netwerk range? If yes where can I find this info.

    Other users of our team had the same problem.

    I also checked the syslog nothing.

  • Strange problem with universal theme, jQuery and APEX 5 on Windows 8.1

    I have a strange problem that makes me crazy. I get it whenever I need to run some jQuery or JavaScript in the new universal theme. This page is a good example:

If I do it slowly, click it, wait a second and release the mouse button, it opens as expected.     I did some tests with some of my colleagues and discovered that this happens only on computers with Windows 8.1 running pages in Firefox or Google Chrome. IE works as expected.

    I invite participants in this forum to do a test for me, if they have one of the browsers mentioned and Windows 8.1. My tests were from two different laptops I (the two Windows 8.1) and also of a virtual machine on Windows 8.1. I was able to reproduce this problem on all three computers.

    I also did the same test with apex.oracle.com and with my local installation of APEX 5.0. They both behave the same.

    Talking with the main developers of the universal theme, this afternoon, we have now highlighted what we believe to be the cause of this problem. There's code in a universal theme that uses hammer.js and apply a logic of quick click on all the links and buttons, with a few exceptions closely. We believe that it is this code that may be responsible for these questions.

    Please hold fire for more such tests as requested previously, my apologies for any lost time do. We will follow on this thread with results as soon as we can.

  • Strange problem with measurement of the color under Mac.

    Hello, I have a strange problem with measurement of the color under Mac. For example I create a gradient in Photoshop color 200 200 200 color 240 240 240. When I measure the color of the gradient with the Photoshop color measurement tool or with the built in OS X color measurement tool measured color is of 200 199 197 to 240 240 238. I measured the same gradient with Photoshop for PC and the values are OK (the same values that I create).

    I don't know what the problem is, but I think that the colors that I create are the same I have measure after creating them and also values between Mac and PC. I appreciate much help or information you could give me that helps me understand what is happening here.

    I am a user of Mozilla Firefox about 3 years. I use it on my desktop and on my laptop. in the PC, I have no problem; but in the laptop, I have strange problems. I searched this problem to support Mozilla and Google also! but I can't find any answer.
    Also, I have reset Firefox and problem resists. even I uninstall and install after. but the problem remains.
    Now, I'm under Firefox 22.0.

  • Satellite Pro C850 - strange problem with LAN connection

    I just signed up on this forum because I hope you guys can help me with a really strange problem.

    I recently bought a Satellite Pro C850-1MX
    It came with Win8, but given that I don't really like Win8, I bought an additional Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) license and installed on the laptop.

    The problem I describe, also arrived on 8 to win, which makes it even more strange.

    As soon as I connect a cable to the RJ-45 port, Windows tells me, that the LAN connection is not connected.
    As soon as I unplug the cable, Windows starts looking for a network and actually found one!

    So, the only way to connect to my LAN cable is... I have activate the LAN connection, wait that it detects a network (without the cable connected!) and meanwhile to connect the cable to the network port.
    Now... If I disconnect the cable once again, Windows still shows its connected.

    I must say, that I am a Director of professional network for more than 10 years now, so I should know my systems, but this never happened to me before. Event log shows nothing, re-installing drivers did nothing either. IM quite confused here and I hope you guys can help me.

    I would try to start talking about the drivers installed, since you changed the system for Win 7.
    All the network devices, such as card WLan and LAN card are properly recognized in Device Manager?

    As I m not wrong not the laptop was equipped with a network card Realtek-8111F (1000BASE-T/100Base-TX/10Base-T) and WLan RTL8723AE Realtek b/g/n card.
    If both should appear in the device properly Manager if you have installed the drivers correctly.

    Are you sure that you speak of LAN and WLAN?
    For me it made no further since. If the network cable is unplugged, the notebook would connect to the WLan where WiFi is enabled.
