  Hello world

  I wonder if it is possible to design multi-channel filters on the FPGA reconfigurable on the fly? For example, it is possible to have X bandpass filters in an iteration, and Bandpass Filters Y with different specifications in the iteration following without having to recompile the FPGA code? Is there a simple way to achieve such a purpose?

  I have built such flexibility in the OTR (where each iteration has different filter settings) but hope to implement on the FPGA so.

  If someone could provide ideas as to whether or not such a conception is possible, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Steven,

  How do you try to generate the FPGA code for this filter, you are using the IP generator?

  If so, this knowledge base article describes fixing the coefficients for multichannel to change on the fly filters.  There is also a nice example in there also.

  Also, if you use this IP generator, this help document describes the more Options box that has the ability to change the coefficients to be 'rechargeable' so that you can change these on the fly it too.

• APEX form on-the-fly validation

  I have a requirement where I need to validate the forms on the fly that users type. A bit like password strength check features on Yahoo or Hotmail, which checks the strength of your password as you type it.
  
  Is it possible that I can and equipping such a form in the APEX where I set the rule (i.e. strings must be no more than 8 characters or no figure in this field, etc.)?
  
  I know how to do the normal method where you type and press submit and APEX will tell you in its notification (header) which fields are entered incorrectly.

  It sounds like you might use Dynamic Actions. It is a declarative method of doing client-side actions (such as check values, show/hide fields, any action of javascript...).

• Check-in on the fly

  Hi guys:

  Another question for you!  Any luck there will be support for recording on the fly?  It is my understanding that when you specify isRecording = false archive gets packaged and delivered.  Would it be possible to specify other connection to ensure that the session is being recorded?  Right now, I have one side of the connection that records, while the other just connects and allows collaboration.  If the recorder loses the connection, I don't get to see an archive created.

  The problem we are trying to overcome comes from the ability of the customer record minute loses its power and/or internet and not being able to download registration or send the signal to stop recording.  If it is at all realistic 99 to 100% on the capture of the archives of the sessions is my goal.

  Hi Eric,.

  First, thank you to tap on the Save feature as it is in beta, and the customer feedback is the best way to identify what needs to be fixed/improved because we do a push toward liberation.  Secondly, it is in beta

  You basically hit a bug in the implementation of the beta version and it is certainly NOT how we expected things to work.  To clarify:

  1 / a record should belong to a room rather than a particular client connection session.  A customer with appropriate permissions can start and stop a recording, but the fact that things break once the customer who started a closed record its browser is a bug.  This room should always appear in this case.

  2 / as stated above, a client of registration could be written so that it explicitly stop a record according to a condition (or press), but this should NOT be the only way to register will be created and published.  There is also a bug. Registration should be created and published at the end of session room if she was not arrested by the client application explicitly before this point.

  Hope that I managed to clarify how things are supposed to work.

  Heh! Welding, is not exactly a term to the fly.

  To join two or more paths open use Join (Cmd + J). Endpoints closer to each other will join.

  To close an open unique path, check the 'Closed' in the object Panel. You can also set a custom keyboard shortcut to 'Close the trace' or use a toolbar customized with the icon "narrow path".

  If closing is not what you mean by welding or join, please post again with a more detailed description or a screenshot.

  Edit: I see that you are using Windows 7 where the menu bar is hidden as a Firefox orange button by default. Some menus objects much may not be visible in the menu of the Firefox button. Show the Menu bar or use the - and + Zoom controls buttons.

  Now many of you may have heard talk about Eero and Luma, whose routers create a scope "mesh" network by installing 2-3 of their units close to each other.  Whether you're home devices move from one access point to another without a decrease in performance.  In my current setup, I have two extremes from the Airport (connected both) with SSID same, however when I wander around the House, my camera will not let go the first AE until I am in the vicinity of the second AE, how I am down to 1-2 bars of signal, and then at a certain point of annoyance it passes to the 2nd AE with a signal stronger.  Y at - it a setting that I can change which will preserve my investment in my AE current infrastructure, and to somehow get our roaming devices more intuitively go to the AP with the strongest signal faster?

  Unfortunately, Apple provides no practical possibility for the user to adjust parameters either on an AirPort base station or computer or other mobile device WiFi, that would allow a device go faster... or more slowly... as "wandering" on a network with several access points.

  Macs will usually do a good job to switch automatically from one access point to another as they move from one place to another, but most of the PC, tablets, iPhones, and iPads will do that very well... If they do it in all.  With most mobile devices, you will need to temporarily disable the WiFI on the device when it is moved from one place to the other, then re - turn on the WiFi at the new location... and the device will usually pick up the signal from the access point closest and strongest.

  I assume you mean that you run Windows in a virtual machine such as Parallels? If so, the machine virtual peut must be updated.

  When you install Snow Leopard, make sure to choose the option to do a custom install, so you can select the check box for Rosetta, or it will not install and PowerPC applications will not run. Not a huge deal if you miss. The first time you try to run a PPC application if Rosetta has not been installed, OS X offers to download and install it for you.

  Firefox works under Snow Leopard, which is the oldest version of OS X Mozilla always supports. Safari installed with SL will remain grossly outdated and should not be used.

  Nothing will happen to your documents, although I can't say with certainty that all the apps from third party that allows you to open will not be updated. They can. They cannot. For example, Office 2004 will run as long as Rosetta is installed.

  What you suggest is possible but it takes software and third-party quality loss.

  Instead, export a QuickTIme movie. If you have a choice of codecs, choose Apple Intermediate Codec. You can save it where you want it-maybe in the movies.

  Then import the movie into FCP as a clip.
