Possible to allow special edition on the OLD computer?

Hello... For the convenience of this post, we're going to label these computers 1, 2 and 3

1 MacBook was bought right after my high school diploma. Installation of CS4 Design Premium Suite.

1 had major problems of hard drive MacBook. Returned 1 Macbook from Apple, received 2 Macbook.

Installed Immideately Suite CS4 to Macbook 2.

MacBook 2 me well served for a few years, but so it is more reliable. Enter Macbook 3.
I still have 2 Macbook, primarily for his personal use (try to keep the 3 Macbook as a professional computer as long as possible).

Installation Suite CS4 on Macbook 3.

MacBook 3 requires one of the previous two facilities to be disabled, as only two machines are allowed to run the suite at a given time.

Is it possible to have my disabled Macbook 1 series (which has not been in my possession for... uh... 3 years), so that I can use it at the same time on the Macbooks 2 and 3?

I hope that makes sense.
I know I'm grabbing at straws here, and it's probably not possible... just thought it would be worth it.

Call support to reset the activations.

  • old emails suddenly disappeared after removal of the old computer

Yesterday, I moved my email account from my old computer OS ubuntu 10.04 to mint17 linux OS computer. I copied the Thunderbird * *.default c/o the profile.ini file. Everything went perfectly with my email account arise with all my emails that dates back a few years. Hearty Pat on the back to Todier when I went to look at the e-mails and found that only one, a new. All other e-mails have disappeared.
I have read several posts and finally found the 'Archives' button and it installs on the toolbar, but my old emails have not been published in it.
Can someone please tell me where they are and how I can get back them. The type of server itself has changed IMAP (performed the ubuntu configured Pop3). I'm not good with technical computer language. Thank you.

    Thanks Matt for your reply,
I watched "Help menu > troubleshotting information and click on the show button to the profile folder" and it's one that I copied on the old computer. The problem comes from Thunderbird automatically configure my new email account with IMAP in my old account (in Thunderbird 1.5) is pop3.

    With the help of:
https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/email/change-pop3-account-to-imap-or-imap-to-pop3, I have reset the pop3 account and then exchanged against the old profile folder (abc123yz.default) a second time and now I have all my old emails again.
    So problem solved!

  • After having successfully imported the My Favorites in Firefox Sync from my old computer to new computer, can I purge the old computer and still have the bookmarks on the new

I want to update my computer and made a Windows Easy Transfer to my new. My Firefox Favorites do not show on my new computer so I used Firefox Sync, which worked well. Now that I have the bookmarks on the new computer, I can delete the old computer and keep the bookmarks on the new.

First, unplug your old computer of Firefox Sync, so you do not accidentally delete data synchronization, but yes, you should be good to go.

  • When I transfer the data through to the new computer it removes it from the old computer?

I get a new mac next month and will probably be to transfer all my docs, photos, settings etc using the method in this article. I was wondering if, when data are transferred to the new computer, if it is removed from the old computer? I had problems the past with back ups and updates goes wrong and I fear that I will lose all my data by mistake in the transfer.

Lol the original data remains on the old computer, but don't forget to save the new computer as soon as you can.

  • Invalid product key: Re-install WinXP Pro after crash of HD and replacement on the old computer.

After the hard disk crash and replacement on the old computer, reinstall Windows XP - Pro.

I have genuine WinXP Pro, with product key, etc. on the sticker on the computer.
Install does not accept the product key. Error: the product key is valid.
Several CAREFUL attempts, so I do not know as I type the key correctly.
New HARD drive is SATA (former was IDE), so need to massage WinXP to accept SATA install.
Set of installation is Windows XP Pro SP3, with SATA drivers (with n - Lite).
    Help!

When is the key being denied? -Keep in mind that there are "excluded" characters (for example, 0 and I etc.) and those that are very easily confused (8/B, 2/Z, etc.) and, if the answer is in the system rather than by the activation servers, it is likely that this is the problem.

I can only suggest that you keep plugging away with the product key update tool until you find the right key.

  • I got a new computer (an old dies) new a windows vista and I have to disable the old computer before I load the same copy of Vista on my new computer. If yes how can I do this?

I got a new computer (an old dies) new a windows vista and I have to disable the old computer before I load the same copy of Vista on my new computer.  If yes how can I do this?

If Vista is preinstalled on your OLD computer, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

A single license is a single Installation.

If it is a retail Vista license, read the information on the clean install and then reactivate it:
