  Long story short, I contracted somehow malware that made my unnecessary desktop icons. I can't click on them or right click anything. The only way I can manuver IE and on any program that I can start is to use desktop shortcuts.

  I run Malwarebytes and got rid of the number 1. I never got navagate Malwarebytes good enuf to view the log file. The virus (if I had one) seems to have disappeared, but has changed some things in my regisery. As I said, I can't click on anything on my desktop. I CAN navagate my Start menu without any problem. But when IE opens or ANY other program, I can navagte only these programs through shortcuts to the office.

  Can't seem to do here so I tried to reinstall windows using my Vista Home Premium disc. I did with a previous pc using XP. But for some reason, I can't find an option just uninstall windows so I can install a new version of windows. I like to always keep all files and data, but simply install fresh windows once again. To me that seems the easiest was around my problem.

  Is it possible to do what I ask of my Vista restore disk?

  BTW, I don't have a restore point to fall back on. My hard drive is close to being complete and I used the restore function a few days before this problem and now I can not find a restore point before I fell on my current problem.

  I was told their may be a reg backup utility that comes with Vista. Is this true? This could be everything that I need to fix my problem?

  Of all things... it's my mouse.

  I have it has given it a thought for a moment at the beginning then threw the idea because I could use my mouse anywhere in the start area. I could left click, right click with ease, but once I opened a program or a Web page that is opened in the main window, I couldn't click on anything whatsoever.

  I reformatted with issue of you SME, but now, I try a different mouse and all is well... shessh.

  Since you're working from a laptop, I suppose that you have only one physical disk. You will need to backup all your data on an external hard drive before reinstalling windows.

  I want to install an adapter WUSB54GC wireless to my HP desktop computer, running Windows 7 (64-bit).  Pilots don't is not loading.  I used the CD that came with the adapter (compatible Vista) and the download of Windows 7 from the Web site.  I get the same error message.

  Nevermind I figured it (using another thread).   Put it in the adapter, and then load the driver from the website manually from my USB.

  I'm not able to install ADF manually or with a script of the orchestration. Both the instance that it is a failure.

  I'm trying to install the server on RHEL 6.5 short. The exception that is mentioned in the log file is,

  Yes, the operating system is 64-bit.

  Also found the cause of the problem, a few minutes from the back.

  In fact the OS I work hardened. One of the secuity of file system strategy is 'noexec nosuid nodev' on/tmp. After the abolition of this policy, the install script was properly performed.

  Hello - during the installation of the stand-alone converter on a Windows 7 Pro workstation, I get the following error; installation restore, does not end. What is the cause?

  

  Two possible reasons for this problem...

  1. each pending restart

  2 conflict with the existing driver or version of VMware Converter

  Try the following...

  1 restart the computer and run the Setup again

  2, if there is already an existing version of converter installed, try uninstalling the VMware Converter, restart the machine and install VMware Converter 6.1.1
