  The behavior you're seeing is not abnormal.  There are several servers of web services to the community, and each will be no all * exactly * the same view of a thread.

  The web server cluster maintains a cache of information.  The version 'important' information is stored in the database, but the Access database is much more slow and expensive in terms of processing.  To avoid the imposition of the database, each web server determines when to cache for the verses of the database information.

  The scenario you describe could be played as follows.  When you posted your answer from your iPhone, a request was made to the web server, the answer will instantly appear on the iPhone.  If you then access it via a browser, you may be repaired by a different web server, which has a version outadated of the wire (that is extracted is in the cache).  In this case, the view of the browser intercepts not updating.

  Whatever it is, updates are what makes the database, and, after a timeout, the information is available evenly across the cluster.

• Is it possible to make the InDesign files created in CS5.5 backward compatibility with CS4 and CS3?

  I recently installed CS5.5 on my iMac running Mac OS x Lion. I have some documents that have been prepared in CS3 and CS4. They read OK in CS5.5 but I can't then save them to read in earlier versions. Any ideas please?

  You will need to export to IDML to open in CS4. If you need it in CS3 you will need to open the IDML in CS4 and export to INX. You can open the INX file in CS3.

• Number of messages for the Adobe Forum do not match current messages list

  I'm confused by how this forum is set up. When you click home, you see a list of all categories of the forum with the number of topics displayed in each of them. Some of them have only a few hundred, others have thousands. However, when you click on the title of the forum look at some of these subjects, he mentions only a few topics, and when I search on my problem, he does not seem to be looking to archive full of hundreds or even thousands of topics. (There must be some topics with the word "XPJ" in them out of these thousands, but none go into research.)
  
  The forum includes only the topics in the years underway, and counts on the home page are simply not up-to-date? If so, how can I see the subjects of previous years?
  
  I appreciate all help. Otherwise, I will have to post a new topic on something that people have probably already discussed last year, and I can't wait to do without it first searches. :(

  If someone else needs to find it, here are the specific steps:
  1. click on profile.
  2. click on personal Options on the next page that appears.
  3. change the number in the return of days to view topics for field.

  (Mine has been set at 20. No wonder I wasn't see results! I don't know what is the max, but I managed to change to 365).

• RH7 Se blocks when you add a new topic

  I use RoboHelp 7 (which is not part of the TechComm Suite). I created a new project of WebHelp and created the template and. CSS file from scratch.
  
  Whenever I have add a new topic for the project, it hangs for a minute and then crashes. When the project is reopened, the new section was created successfully but must be imported so that it appears in the list of topics. The model uses a table to hold the information in the topic.
  
  I have looked around and could not find any similar support help topics. Copy us the files from RoboHelp since the network, they are stored on working on it on our office because it's much faster.
  
  Also, while I'm here, we also face accidents with our clips where it crashes soon enough the post-importation excerpts from code and the reopening, the excerpts are gone, and we have to re-import them (if they are still in the news, as a blank line). I saw a similar help on this issue topic, but have not yet found a solution for it.
  
  I'm sure there are a few essential information that I'm leaving out, but I can't think of it right now.

  I am sure that the problem is that the template file is somehow corrupted. I finished by recreating the model in a new HR on my local machine and copy on the CSS file and it seems to be fine now.

  We will ensure that we do all our changes to the HR projects on our local machines in the future.

  Hi Mary

  As you do this is by creating folders in the project manager, then create new topics in the files or move the existing entries in the records.

  If you work exclusively in the project manager, you are only able to move a single topic at a time. If you want to move a swarm of topics, open the pod of the list of topics and you can select as many as you want. Then drag the subjects selected to the folder on the project manager pod. Be a little careful when you drag. Often the mouse will pass over a tab at the bottom of the basket, and this can change their minds about you.

• InDesign - how to re-enable the button "create a new item of the Index.

  When I was creating topics for my index finger, I saved the document after doing a subject - (because I had created topics yesterday and is not saved and lost all of my work) - when I tried to create a new item of the Index, the button wasn't dark - not active, so I was not able to add more topics to my Index. I rebooted my MacBook Pro (Mac OS X Version 10.6.8) and reopened my InDesign (Version 3.0.1) document and the palette Index box still lacks a button "Create a new item of the Index" assets to allow the action. I do not know how to do this - does anyone have any suggestions?

  I worked on the range of the Index of reference - adding items to the Index with a subject that I had already entered and when I went back to fashion topic, I noticed that the 'Create a new item of the Index' button is enabled - so I think everything is good now. Thanks for the forum.

  Because this forum was originally for ADF Mobile Preview, it now seems to have been closed.
  The "Overview" aspect is what you should note on the topics of the forum here.
  (Apparently, the software evolves beyond 'preview' stage).

  Apple-wake up!  What happened to the layout of the traditional forum?  Is it broken?  People come to a forum looking for information and seek answers through the previous posts.  The new provision allows only one person to see more than a few hours of posts on a page (as perhaps the last 10?)!  What the devil?  Guess what?  Forums = information.  The new presentation of the forum = white space, and white space is not equal information.  If I wanted to meet someone post I don't know yet where to start because I couldn't find it!  In a mater of minutes at the station is restored to Page 2, never to be seen again.

  Basically, the new presentation of the forum *.  Why it was changed?

• When you try to create the new thread in a discussion forum, the browser closes and I'm back in the office.

  I tried to create a new thread in a Discussion forum.  Closing the browser window and I was back on the desktop.  I did a system restore, which not only does not solve the problem, but deleted my internet security software.  Has worked with people of tendency to reinstall the software, but I get a message tht says: «Unable to extract the installer...» ».  I have a class of the internet this week and I need this computer.  Can someone please?

  You can undo the last restoration of the system using: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76256-system-restore-undo.html.  This may fix your problem with security software that has uninstalled when you did the system restore (using a date that probably existed before the installation of trend).  I don't know if it works now that you have done other things to try to reinstate the program, but it's worth a try.  I sincerely doubt that this process could help with the problem of browser (and there not so undo it reverses your efforts).

  You use Internet Explorer?  If so, please repost your question in Forum Internet Explorer: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/threads where the IE specialists will be more than happy to help you with your problem.

  If you are using another brand of browser, please repost your question in the Forum program: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistaprograms/threads where experts in programs other than Vista or IE will be more than happy to help you with your problem.  You can also try to go to the web site of the Explorer and contacting their technical support staff (or post on a forum if they support a).

  Only trend can help you with installation problems you encounter through their program.  Perhaps it didn't uninstall completely during the restoration of the system.  Check if the trend has a removal tool and use it to uninstall the program, then try to re - install again.  If this does not work, you will need to work with their technical support to solve the problem.

  Matt just activated this feature, but as the still it does not work. It must respond to the original thread. I hope this will start to work. It would be great. There is a post about it in the community of the Feedback Forum.

  This is related to the way that Multiscreen HTML5 is created. What will happen, it is that the currently opened topic is highlighted and the table of contents developed to this point. But that's all. No solution is possible in HTML5 multiscreen.
