  Just had to reinstall everything using the Toshiba Recovery disk image.

  DVD drive works at all, which always gives a drive not connected WARNING!

  Then after 2 days and reinstall OLD records, he began to work.

  To be honest I have don t think that HDD recovery works if you copy the files to another partition.
  Why you want to do this?

  I use the factory form C: and D: partition by default. On C:, I installed all my programs and on drive D: I saved my files private photo, music, videos, Documents, etc.

  I don't see any reason to create a separate partition for HARD drive recovery files because they are saved in an additional folder.

  Hi, Yes, I know this is how it should work, but was funny. It's a problem with my old computer I think. I am trying the implementation of a new system and when I downloaded 'documents' on my new machine everything behaved normally and he did the right folder thing.  So it doesn't seem to be a problem with my old vista machine that goes down!   vmkfstools will simply copy the vmdk and flat.vmdk.  There will not be other files of the virtual machine, and it is not instant up-to-date.

  The source file is the file of 1 GB flat.vmdk and is thin or thick formatted?
