Lack of my shortcuts safe

Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Tecra P5 running windows xp pro sp2

I deleted the shortcuts to My Documents and the trash by mistake. Now when I click on the course My icon in my computer it used open.

Any tips on how to get the shortcuts of return or return in My Safe?

Hi friend

I recommend you reinstall your application of fingerprints 'Protector Suite QL' because "MySafe" belongs to this fingerprint application.
Afterwards, you should be able to work with this folder again.

Welcome them

Apart from that, I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below.

    Hello chaim handler1,.

I suggest to try in a clean boot in order to eliminate any possible conflict of third parties:

Step 1: Perform a clean boot
Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.
    a. log in the computer using an account with administrator rights.
    b. ClickStartCollapse this includes this image, typemsconfig.exe in the search box, theStart then press ENTER to start the System Configuration Utility.Collapse this includes this imageIf you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or clickContinue.
    c. arencontre, clickSelective Startup tab and then click on clear theLoad startup items check box. (Use Boot check box is not available.)
    d. on theServicestab, select hide it all the box, check Microsoft services, and then clickDisable all.

Note following this step lets Microsoft services continue to operate. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.
    e. click OK, and then to clickRestart.
Step 2: Enable half the services
    a. follow steps 1a and 1B to start the System Configuration utility.
    b. click on the services tab and then click to select theHide all Microsoft services checkbox.
    c. Click to select half of the check boxes in the service list.
    d. click OK, and then to clickRestart.

Step 3: Determine whether the problem returns
If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 2. In step 2, click to clear half of the check boxes that you have initially enabled in the service list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 2. In step 2, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the service list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one service is selected in the list of services, and you the problem persists, the service selected the cause of the problem. Go to step 6. If no service is causing this problem, go to step 4.
Step 4: Enable half of the startup items
    a. perform a clean boot by repeating step 1.
    b. click the theStartup tab and then click to select half of the check boxes in the list of items of theStartup.
    c. click OK, and then to clickRestart.

Step 5: Determine whether the problem returns
If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 4. In step 4, click to clear half of the check boxes that you have initially enabled in the list of items of theStartup.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 4. In step 4, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are disabled in the list of items of theStartup. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one startup item is selected in the startup item list, and you still experience the problem, start selected in the list element is the service that is causing the problem. Go to step 6.

If no startup item causes this problem, a Microsoft service most likely the cause of the problem. To determine which Microsoft service may be the cause of the problem, repeat step 1 and step 2 without selecting theHide all the box Microsoft services at every step.
    Step 6: Resolve the problem
After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.
Step 7: Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    a. ClickStart collapse that includes this image, typemsconfig.exe in the search box and press ENTER. Collapse this includes this image
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or clickContinue.
    b. on the arencontre tab, click Start zone option, and then click OK.
    c. When you are prompted to restart the computer, clickRestart.

  • 'Ctrl + End' keyboard shortcut does not work as expected. I tried safe mode. does not move the tab to the end of such specified list, just scroll to the end of the page.

    According to http://support.mozilla.com/en-us/kb/keyboard+shortcuts,.
'Ctrl + End' should move the active tab to the end of the list of tabs.

But the shortcut does not work. Only, it scrolls to the end of the current page as if only "End" is pressed.

I tried the mode without failure of firefox and closed all other open programs.

What to do to debug this problem?
or may there is a bug in firefox somehow?

  • Lack the open command on the shortcut menu

    Always under Windows XP.

How to bring back the command open? -top of the page of the double-click and contextual menu in Explorer Windows.

Some multimedia applications and now when I double click on a media file it runs an application called MediaInfo.

Right-click for context menu - no command above, opening just mediainfo (highlighted). The rest of the menu contextual choice seem to be there as usual, simply not open.

Seems to have affected all media files (audio and video files), but nothing else. The image and document files are fine.

Double-click ran an older version of MediaInfo (v0.7.61).

I have never deliberately installed MediaInfo. I checked Add / Remove Programs, but there was no MediaInfo.

I downloaded latest MediaInfo and double click on the multimedia files. Now open the latest mediainfo.

I checked the file associations in the Explorer, and they are all very good. All details explore windows have correct icon next to multimedia files. But MediaInfo opens on double-click. MediaInfo always at the top of the context menu in "BOLD" (no command open at the top).

I then uninstalled MediaInfo using Add / Remove programs. Then double click on media files gave error, no program installed.

So I re-installed MediaInfo just double click is not giving an error. Info, that I'm not particularly better than an error message.

On other types of file, the shortcut menu opened up in fat and MediaInfo below.

I ran RegEdit (after setting a restore point and looked for MediaInfo. Found a lot of entries, but I have not found any that I could trust of fixation.

How to bring back the command open?

    !! help someone!

    Thanks a lot, Martinez.

I was very tired yesterday and was not thinking right.

I went to bed early and when I woke up this morning I realized what to do.

I uninstalled my favorite movie / musical and all re-installed application. I could just reset file by default in her benefits, but he gave me the opportunity to upgrade to a newer version, at the same time.

    Worked perfectly.

And that's essentially what you're suggesting. Now that everything is working properly, I'll keep the MediaInfo program. It is actually very useful.

Thanks again for your helpful (and incredibly quick) solution.

    Have a great day.

If it is not a folder games or Accessories in the Start > all programs menu, you can create:

    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Click open all users .
    3. Click programs .
    4. Click on file > new > folder .

Then, open the desired folder, click on file > New > shortcut and create a shortcut to the desired program. Boulder computer Maven

  • Lack of Vista Ultimate Office Top - bar for shortcut menu?

I recently reinstalled my Vista Ultimate 64-bit version.

After the reinstallation, a useful desktop bar is missing and I could not find how to get it back. This bar is actually on the desktop, used as a shortcut toolbar above (not sure if the terminology is correct) that has been used for a medium-high to launch applications (e.g. MS office), media (DVD, Windwow media player), internet and others. I love this function return and can someone guide me how to restore? I had with me original installation disks, but can not find them that features.

  • Typing shortcuts (or lack thereof)

It seems to be a bit painful when editing text to position the cursor correctly.  As far as I know... you press the button and try to move the cursor with your finger.  Well... my fingers aren't just fat... but trying to place a course in an exact position (i.e., beginning of line, middle of a Word) is a bit slow and frustrating.

Advice on how to best position a cursor.

Now the orange button, drag your finger on the screen in all directions as you would on a computer laptop trackpad; the cursor moves in the direction that you slide your finger.  When you hold the orange button that you need NOT try to exploit the exact spot.
