PowerDVD 10 Blu - ray allows for crashes frequently.

I have a new pavilion dv7-7047 cl and Powerdvd 10 but reading blue-ray crashes frequently. DVD plays perfectly but not the Blue-Rays not. I tried several different disks. Hang some immediately and others will play for a minute or two. New discs or elders make no difference. This could be a hardware problem. My machine is still under warranty.

It is a new machine and must play!  I could call them and see what they say.

    Hi CWG13,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft answers Community Forums.

This can happen if there is a problem with some settings or folder permissions in the Blu - Ray player that could do this. It could also be the security program blocking the part.

A few things you can try creates a separate on the desktop folder, rather than to use the documents shared and then try to access it from the drive.

You can also try to disable your firewall program and security and then try to access to the shared folder.

Try to disable the user account control and check.

You may also be able to solve the problem by taking possession of the record.

To take ownership of a folder

1 right click on the folder you want to take control and then click Properties.

    2. click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.

    3. click on modify.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    4. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

    5. If you want this person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the void containers and objects check box Replace owner.

    6. click on OK.

Let us know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Kind regards

  • Download free blu ray player for windows 8

I've recently updated to Windows 8 and when I tried to install the PowerDVD 10 supplied with my Bluray player it installed fine but when I tried to play a Bluray it says something about the integrity of the disk or software or something. It is so why I am looking for new software. I tried to look online and most are pay for use as a Blu - ray player from UFUSoft or never heard of so I don't know if I can trust them.

  • CyberLink PowerDVD 10 Blu - Ray not playing is not in Windows 8

I recently installed a drive Pioneer BDR - 2208 Blu - Ray in my office. It came with CyberLink PowerDVD 10 for playback of DVD and Blu - ray. The drive and the software play DVD just find. But when I try to play a Blu - ray, he said the integrity of the program risk and that I should reinstall or check my anti-virus. Someone at - he had success with this issue?

Have you contacted CyberLink or checked their site if it is a known problem with a resolution?  Since it's 3rd party software not made by Microsoft, you will need to consult with them for a resolution.

  • Yet 5.1 on OS 10.5.8 burn Blu - ray discs, but crashes during the generation of the same project DVD

I spent a few weeks creating a Blu - ray disc double layer with 20 menus and 44 timelines lengths ranging from 18 minutes 9 seconds.

The final product will be a double pack containing the replicated Blu - ray Disc and DVD.

I have pre-transcoded DVD and BD and related assets proper. The Blu - ray Disc built properly and seems to have no problems.

When I try to output in DVD Encore crashes almost immediately. I also tried to record just a DVD image, and it crashes at the same place.

I don't really want to recreate this entire program in DVDSP, but that's my plan.

    Other ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

So I solved the problem by removing all the ac3 and m4v (including the related m2v) records on the SNA timlines replacing the original self-contained reference movies from FCP7. Then, I left still transcode and build from one day to the next, hop in the DVD to work one morning.

Now, I just need to transcode again for the Blu - ray or return to a backup...

  • Creation of Blu - ray causes windows crash blue screen

I'm testing the first Elements 7 for the creation of better quality DVD and Blu ray discs. Source is AVCHD 1920x1080i and I managed to create a number of DVD and a Bluray without problem. My last try creating a Bluray disc failed at about 98%, burn underway with an error of the device. As a result, a windows blue screen crash. Much more worrisome is that if I re - insert the BD RE disc in my PC to erase it and start over, he immediately requested a windows blue screen crash, so I assume that the disk is in ruins. I've used Premiere Pro, Ulead and more recently Cyberlink Power Director and Sony Vegas. The quality of images DVD produced by the Prime Minister is far superior and the output Bluray was also excellent. CyberLink has proved to be a flat good package of the poor quality of the re-output stream. Sony Vegas Pro seems the only one to recognize raw images of AVCHD and choose of does not recompress it! The version of Movie Studio does not seem to do that, however, I only got a limited trials go. I narrowed my choice to upgrade to Adobe first, or the cheaper 7 elements that fits my needs for the home movies, however, has a major accident of windows, that I never tend to get scared me. Why o why is there not a burn to the option of hard drive for creation concerning the Bluray DVD? Someone has a similar problem - any ideas as to what I might try?

A situation of BSOD normally indicates something is not systemicly with the computer. It may be a software (usually BONES), or related equipment.

The first thing I would do would be to gather all the info on your system and full list OS, version, updates, etc. and all material specifications. Something in these lists might be a clue.

Then I would look carefully at the observer of events, in particular the tabs system and Applications. Look for the yellow warning at the time of the BSOD messages and especially the red error messages. It might be easier to invoke a BSOD, so that you know the exact time and date of the accident. Carefully consider each yellow and each message in red. Many might not give much useful info, but some could talk you a lot about what happens and can even give you the cause. Please explore all the links that are provided in each of these messages. They should take you on either the website of MS, or on the site of a software or hardware of the company. These will probably be where you will collect the most important data.

Here's what to look for in the event viewer:

Give us all the details which is is found.

Also, see this LINK. The video is a little long, but will provide you with a lot of troubleshooting advice and also tools of notes MS. Make of these tools and their use.

  • Blu - ray plugin for toast... How to buy? do not appear in the store

I bought an external drive this morning. Then I went to the App Store and got the Toast. Since there were two available toast, I got both. And then I started looking for the plug-in (under the Green toaster) available for $15.99... I opened the software installed on my iMac (but of course no drive there again)... and expected to find the offer "in app purchase" punch me in the face. But nothing came. I looked under each menu button on my monitor, as well as all the options on the window of the software as well. Nothing.

So I see that other people have this plug-in, so they can burn Blu - Ray discs.

What I'm missing here? Where should I go from here?

    The plug-in is to http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/toast/plugin/overview.html

Probably, you should check with Roxio to make sure it works with items purchased through the app store. It may require that the version full size at http://www.roxio.com/enu/store/mac.html

  • Can satellite P200-1EE - I get a Blu - Ray player for her?

Finally, Toshiba have joined the BDA!
We know if or when they will release a Blu - Ray player to replace the HD-DVD drives in a P200-1EE?

I know that this post may be a bit premature, but I felt betrayed, since the purchase of the laptop and Toshiba format let down HD-DVD 3 weeks later.

    Hello!

I put t know when Toshiba will release a Bluray you can buy to swap it with your HD-DVD player.

But maybe a car from a different manufacture will work also on your laptop. In your case I go to the computer store nearest and ask for such propulsion. Perhaps you can test it in the shop if it works because not all readers are compatible with all portable (assignment of pins e. g.).

    Good luck!

  • Best compatible blu ray burner for late 2013 iMac

Hello everyone. I'm a little shy gun that I bought a LG BE14NU40, who is correctly identified, but has a strange error after it starts to burn DVD/BD. That is why I am reaching out to the community for those of you who have a USB 3.0 external BD recorder so I can assure you that I don't burn upward more of money on something that will ultimately fail. The mistake that has this drive was widely reported a few years back with a different version, but I never could find a solution at the end which is a shame, but that's life. Just in case someone does not know position from Apple about the problem is that the drive is considered 3rd party, so there is no support, and this disc (according to LG tech support technician) is supposed to be compatible with any mac. Anyway thanks a lot for your comments.

    MelRay

What is the error you get?

Most of the readers are compatible with the Mac (except that you need a software that will burn the DVD as well as read with no blu - ray support Macs). So, what software do you use?

Also, what helps is to use available elevation slower burning you will get fewer errors burning (it might take a little longer, but it certainly beats liquidation with a coaster).

  • How to burn videos full hd to dvd - r with Blu - ray burner for playback on a Blu - ray set top player?

    Hello

Blu - ray media is still expensive for export small HD projects.

If I have a Blu - ray burner,

can I burn BD on DVD-r (4.7 GB) exports

and play on a Blu - ray set top player?

alias: DVD-r accepts a laser "blue"?

(Menus at this point are not necessary)

For the most part, I'm wanting to burn music videos for 3-4 minutes on DVD-r disks

full HD Blu - ray without having to use expensive Blu - ray disc every time.

    Thank you

    j

Ouch!  I don't really remember, but I think I burn with a DVD ol burner ' ordinary.  I have two; a BD - R drive and the DVD-R drive.  Once the image is made I don't think it's important.

I would say go for it.

If I'm wrong, I'll blame "Friday afternoon near time to quit smoking."

  • How netflix strem by using blue-ray (ready for wireless lan) BD-P1600A/XAA samsung to my TV player?

want help to learn how to stream Netflix to my Blu - ray player from samsung on my TV.  My blue-ray player is instant streaming available (wireless LAN ready) Samsung BD-P1600A/XAA. I also bought an adapter = Samsung model # WIS09ABGN. No matter what I do TV shows a message indicating an internet connection could not be found.  Help, please! Thank you, SEM.

This does not appear to be linked to a network of Windows 7 problem, because it is not
even a computer involved. Try http://forums.cnet.com/samsung-forum/ of support

  • Qosmio PX30t - drive Blu - Ray Toshiba update for Windows 10

After you download the updated Blu - Ray player for my all in one Px30t Qosmio on Windows 10.
I read the following on the update page:

Disc Blu - ray TOSHIBA (32/64 bit)
Toshiba recommends installing this component which has been updated to support Windows 10
You must manually uninstall this component of your computer so that this component updated to install.

    -----
Then I uninstalled the reference software, then after running the update, a surprising window that called for the update
could not be executed, because the installation program did not find the disk drive in my computer (is or isn't funny?)

So for now I have not any player ready for Blu - Ray. How could I get a copy of the software Toshiba Blu - Ray disc player that's already installed with my computer?

Please, I beg you! Could someone help with this 'funny' anomaly cop and provide me with a link to download the appropriate software. (Toshiba for Windows 8.1-10 Blu - Ray disc player).

    I'd really appreciate it!
