CyberLink PowerDVD 10 Blu - Ray not playing is not in Windows 8

I recently installed a drive Pioneer BDR - 2208 Blu - Ray in my office. It came with CyberLink PowerDVD 10 for playback of DVD and Blu - ray. The drive and the software play DVD just find. But when I try to play a Blu - ray, he said the integrity of the program risk and that I should reinstall or check my anti-virus. Someone at - he had success with this issue?

Have you contacted CyberLink or checked their site if it is a known problem with a resolution?  Since it's 3rd party software not made by Microsoft, you will need to consult with them for a resolution.

    Hello

As you use HP MediaSmart DVD to play Blu ray discs, I would suggest trying the following.

HP now provides a version of PowerDVD 10 Cyberlinks which seems to be a better solution.  Download the latest installer for it on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56904.exe

Once the download is complete, open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP MediaSmart DVD and select uninstall - when this process is complete, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your downloads folder and double-click Setup for PowerDVD 10 start the installation.  Once this done, see if your Blu ray disks will now play OK.

    Kind regards

  • PowerDVD 10 Blu - ray allows for crashes frequently.

I have a new pavilion dv7-7047 cl and Powerdvd 10 but reading blue-ray crashes frequently. DVD plays perfectly but not the Blue-Rays not. I tried several different disks. Hang some immediately and others will play for a minute or two. New discs or elders make no difference. This could be a hardware problem. My machine is still under warranty.

It is a new machine and must play!  I could call them and see what they say.

  • Blu - ray not playing does not sertain movies

I have usually experienced small problems with BD playback, up to now. Currently some movies refuse to play, and at least one poster a warning.

Your Blu - ray player requires an update to play this disc.

The manufacturer of your Blu - ray player recommends THST you go to the site below...

Problem is, HP Mediasmart is no longer supported, and according to the need of websiteI to buy a new version of cyberlink locks mediasmart is no longer supported.

First of I must say when I buy rater portable media costly, with Blu - ray player as one of the main points of sale, then I expect to support all Blu - ray movie discs, any ideas stupid hollywood comes with.

But I don't know if it would work eiter. Because I tried to download free software that, according to the developer should be able to play the last BD - drive on the market, and they do not have too.

Is this really a software problem, or is it a firmware issue?

    SUGESTIONS?

Apart from a few BD movies, all disks usually times very well.

Save this file to power DVD10 on the desktop and install it from there, not in a temporary folder. This version is free for owners of HP.

After installing, restart your computer and load the disc using the eject button on the DVD drawer.

Allow Blu - ray charge automatically with output power DVD10 of openness, to give him a little time.

If it won't play, please let me know what Anti Virus software you are using, what your operating system and what the the model number of your machine.

If it is a 'B' or 'C' region as Banhien suggested and then you need to change the region code, but you can change it only 5 times. Any DVD from SlySoft can remove the region code, but it is not free.

Permission of now Media Smart DVD where he is, power DVD10 and MS DVD can exist together.

What is the name of the movie that will not play, I can see if I have it my collection and try and play on my machine?

  • Media Smart DVD, not so smart... Will play only some blu ray, not all.

When I get a computer with a drive blu - ray I expect to read blu ray discs... all of them. It works with some but not all.

Records, it does not work with, what happens is it will ask me 'Do you want to check updates' and there will be a box to check yes or no. Basically, it will say disc is ready to play, just play to push. Easy right? HELL NO.

If you check Yes, it will make the symbol of the wait little and the request of updates, then come right away and you still ask once, a circle without end to check updates. If you press n, it will go away, then you have a few options, one is to open the menu and see if there is actually an update... No. no updates it. the other option is to do what he says and push the game because he thinks that the blu ray is ready to play. Once I press play it starting to think and appears as "you want to check for updates" again. It's so frustrating. HEY HP, FIX CELA DUMB TRAP CIRCULAR THAT USED LET ME WATCH BLU RAY.

And it is a blu - ray disc video block buster movie. Not some copied disk random. So, I know that it is not the disc.

After spending a lot of time chatting with their service Dept. It seems that this will not work until the next update mediasmart. The technician told me to use Cyberlink power dvd 10 until then, I downloaded the free trial version, and it worked fine. Thus, they have 30 days until my free trial exhausted.  We will have to see.

  • Drive Blu - ray BDX1200 play is not all content - sometimes!

    Hello

Sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum, but there is no Blu - ray section.

I have a UK model BDX1200 Blu - ray that I bought there is a little less than 2 years.
Recently purchased 2 Blu - ray discs, I found that he would play not all content.

The player seems to be stuck loading the content with a black screen and generally sound as the drive is being spun over and over again and cannot be read.
I have to power off the power at the wall outlet to get the drive working again.

Specifically, I couldn't play most of the peculiarities of The Avengers, although I could get some of them to play by power cycling the player, and the actual film played end.

In addition, I couldn't play the Hobbit film, although I have power rolled several times, and the disc plays on the machine of a friend. I just tried and the film plays without problem, it's an intermittent thing.

I checked the firmware updates, but I already have the latest version.

Anyone has any suggestions, or do you think it is a failure? TIA.

    Hello

    > Also, I couldn't play the Hobbit film, although I have power rolled several times, and the disc plays on the machine of a friend. I just tried and the film plays without problem, it's an intermittent thing.

Well, I put t think its firmware problem, because the same disc worked properly after reattempt.

  • 6000 series, 6770 m, Cyberlink Power10! = Blu - Ray

I think I got the question here, WITHOUT the help of HP or Cyberlink support .  It seems that the version of PowerDVD 10 that shipped with the dv7tqe (# XW899AV) is indeed DIFFERENT than what is installed if you choose to upgrade to MediaSuite 9 ultra (not quite as Super, aye?).  You should use "sp53029.exe" If you want to be able to use the 6770 m GPU for display of Blu - Ray (Intel HD work in BOTH versions)

  • Drive Samsung R720 Blu Ray not recognized in Windows 7

I have BD E DS4E1S on Samsung R720, Windows7 32 bit. I have installed the Cyberlink software provided with the computer to play the BlueRay disc and it worked fine until about a month ago. Then, I received some updates for Windows 7 and Cyberlink and now when I insert disc BlueRay is unclear, said no. DISK. I did factory restore and reinstalled Cyberlink suite on the same installation CD but it did not help and I still can't play Blue Ray discs.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Bad burn on Blu - Ray; not enough space?

    Hi all

    I bought a blu ray burner =:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1051647-reg/samsung_se_506cb_rswd_sam_slim _exterior_blue_ray.html

Create the disk opens its doors to about 66% asks me to insert a disc. The project is only about 3 minutes. long.

Then, at some point, I get the error message; "Not enough space on the startup disk.

Once the error was; not enough space on the disk, but it's a Virgin blu - ray disc. (BD - R)

There is plenty of space on the hard drive of my iMac.

The burner did not come with software to Mac but I chose the burner in the FCX share window.

Other: When I right click on a movie on the desktop file I see an option for burning, but where can I say it blu - ray?

    Thank you

    Al

Is the library of the PCF on your startup disk and where the media is stored?

If you burn a movie from a file in the Finder, it is a data disk and will not readable on a Blu Ray player.

    I applied all updates for Win 7 x 64 to my e9180t.

Media Smart now plays regular DVD but not of bluray. That is what it is?

    Hey TXGuy,.

Take the update mentioned in the Mr. Do. the process of upgrading to Windows7 if you qualify for the upgrade HP is to load the upgrade wizard HP first disc. It copies all of the updated drivers and applications on the system if you do not have to go hunt down them on HP.COM.
