  Hi I have an old Poweredge 4600 Server.
  He has fleas 4 GB X 1 GB in it.
  I am trying to load Windows server 2008 on it because it is the latest OS is 32-bit.

  Now, he's going through the Embedded Server Management thing then a BIOS thing and promts to press F1 to continue or F2 to go to the configuration.  But then I run for this disorder appears limited to 256 MB but Server 2008 needs 512 MB at least to install.   Any ideas how?

  There is a setting in the bios called "OS install mode" make sure that it is set to off.

  It cannot detect any SCSI drives and told to put on a cd with the driver on it.

  Download and run to extract the files, and then use these files on diskette/CD/USB.

• PowerEdge 1800 Server

  I have a Dell PowerEdge 1800, which has worked very well for 10 years, and I intend to replace it in the fall.  Last night, something happened and the motherboard got a little warm, and the system is dead. I found a replacing MB and was looking for a new power lift the thing and get some flexibility to order a new one and get it all moved on and running.  Dell has no idea about food, and I'm tired of doing tossed.
  Is anyone know by chance the part # for this power supply?
  I am trying to order it so it will be there tomorrow or the next day and I don't think even afer of power supply I found a MB. I started thinking about it after that I came home.

  I apologize for the delay in responding.  After reviewing the mistakes and doing some research, the error is software v7.2 of Dell OpenManage. Our recommendation is to update your OpenManage version 7.3 and monitor.  This version should address the timeout error in this particular service gives the watchdog error.

• Problem importing JvueAX.ocx in Delphi XE2

  I can import the activeX and install it in a Delphi package, however when I try to set the control imported on a form I get and the "external Exception." Generate subsequent attempts to add it

  We desperately need to get this working.  Already, we have an (old) application working with an older version and did not expect the new version to be a problem.

  The version of AutoVue we use is 20.2.2 (I think that the most recent). I installed it using ISDK and DesktopDeployment installers.  I have installed the Java runtine and tested it too.

  I tried to save the jvueax.ocx using regsvr32 and it does not work, I don't know if this is the problem or not.

  I know that Delphi is not in the list of supported languages, but Delphi almost always works perfectly with imported activeX controls.  Y at - it patches or updates available that might help.  Ocx version we have is 20.2.2.8633.

  FYI, the resolution of that question was this...

  1. Open your autovue.properties file (located in ""\bin "").
  2. Find the line that starts with 'autovue.cmdline '.
  3. Change '-Xmx512m ' to '-Xmx256m '.
  4. Save the changes and test again.

  This is supposed to be a fix for Windows XP, but I am using Windows 7 and it resolved the problem for me

  Hi all

  Recently, I replaced a non redundant power supply on my Dell Poweredge R410. During troubleshooting, I also temporarily removed the battery from the system at any given time.

  The server is back up and running, but when booting, I get:

  "The 4 fan speed can change in installation configuration feature and the option card systems

  Press F1 to continue, F2 to run the configuration utility.

  I think that some BIOS setting reset to remove the battery? I also see a lot of forum posts mentioning the cause of this error is the integrated SATA is connected to anything.

  My hard drives are connected to a PERC via the PCI slot, and the machine has an optical drive. I don't see the existence of the optical drive in omreport.

  Here are a few outlets omreport about SATA settings.

  Integrated SATA controller: ATA
  SATA port 0: Auto
  SATA port 1: Off
  SATA port 2: stop
  SATA port 3: Off
  SATA port 4: Off

  Any advice on how to go about this debugging more?

  Yes, it is possible that the optical drive is defective. Check the logs of equipment. Also enter the system BIOS setup using the F2 key and search for devices listed as unknown.
