  I have a situation where all provisions of a user account on a resource are made by operators (with the necessary roles to be able to buy directly a resource). Operators should be able to see the person in charge of the user on the account form. To do this, I created a new field in the form which is automatically filled with a custom with the User Manager adapter. The problem is that prepopulate adapters cannot fill a non-empty field, so if the user manager later changed, this field shows the former manager when you try to change the user's account. It is not important for me the Manager information (this is only for display purposes). So, is it possible to always pre-fill the field with the value of tha of the Manager, but save it in the DB, then this field will be always empty and always be filled with the value of the order display manager?

  Why don't you wanan save this value in DB?

  Without saving changes in the DB, it is not possible.

  The problem is that prepopulate adapters cannot fill a non-empty field

  What it means?

  Entity adapter will only work if there is some update on the form.

  Prepopulate will works only at the time of commissioning not updated.

• I accidentally entered my password in the field 'user ID' a website connection, and pre-populating it now appear in the list of suggestions for that field. Is there a way to make the pre-fill 'forget' a specific entry?

  While connecting to a secure Web site, I was typing too fast and accidentally included my password in the field ID used while connection and press enter before I realized my mistake. I then connected properly, but now Firefox include this false entry (with another entry accidentally misspelled) in the list of suggestions of pre-filling every time I go to this page. I prefer not to cut completely from pre-filling, but obviously I don't want my password to be specified. Can I delete the wrong entry in the list of suggestions as pre-filling watch somehow? (I use Firefox 6.0 on Windows 7)

  Select the entry in the drop-down menu and press "DELETE", Mac users, press 'Shift + Delete '.

  I was wondering how you go about the generation of a pre-filled form of ADF. Is this something that is done if the designer of the ADF and the business objects? or do you create database tables stay and bind in the ADF and the workflow. Specifically, I want that if a user is presented with a several drop-down lists when the human task of the initiator is executed.

  1. Yes, in all first place in the database, we added all the data manually for all research. Its our own schema custom. We plan to provide a few simple administration screens in a different WebApps to maintain these values to search. Note that it is a different simple ADF application, with a layer of EJB and EJB layer calling this and get/update database values.

  2. in ADDITION, we have a few search values we get from system/application totally another as Oracle EBS Suite. To do this, we have created custom schema. In this custom scheme, we have a few stored procedures created by the developers of EBS database (they are more familiar with EBS). Now in our EJB layer, we use architecture JPA, call these stored procedures and get all values for the search and display in the TaskDetails page. These values are maintained in EBS itself, so we have not all custom within our SOA/BPM project admin screens.

  In conclusion, our SOA/BPM applications, we have 2 databases. First database is for components SOA where we run RCU comand and there all SOA_INFRA, MDS, diagrams ORABAM etc. The second database is for our custom schema specific to our application. Here, we have our own lookup tables, custom table and all cutom stored procedures than coonect to external EBS etc. Weblogic console, we have just to create a data source for this second database and use layer JPA (persistence.xml file). For the first database, you already know that in the creation of the field itself, it will create all sources of data also.

  I hope someone can help me!

  I'll put up the Single Sign-On, but do you have a problem, which is a right pain! because of duty capture the screens that need to be the same each time as the users to enter password.

  I am trying to use SSO to treat the identification information to users through a window of Windows authentication, I want windows authentication for prompt as the way it's Setup is using a generic account to log on locally to the machine but then access intranet and applications users will be run as the credentials of domain users that they authenticate with Single Sign On by connecting to the application.

  I got all applications work, but the problem is when the local generic account accessed sharepoint authentication in sharepoint (as its supposed to do), but in this case I don't want to do, so I put the home page for this local account for the access denied page of sharepoint to force authentication of users. so everything what I need to do now is to remove the part where he waits just a password and just having use another area account instead.

  Bit of a strange setup I know but if I can get around this problem the journal, password management and user switch will be a great improvement for our users.

  My question is where the username is pre-filled how to remove it or default so that using another account field becomes active?

  Hello! I have a connector to AD and I need pre-fill for brand new users with the name field "Terminal allow login" Boolean = true. I add the field in the form for table UD_ADUSER designer - pre-fill but it does not work. What I am doing wrong?

  Don't remember a top of my head, but you can set this field to "true" / "checked" to the definition of access instead of rules policy prepopulated? There might be some conflicts and I believe, access policy has a higher precedence than rules of pre-populated.

  After little help! I have created a web form for a company to use for travel. It has specific fields for location, accommodation and date of travel.

  I would like to know the best way to pre fill these fields if someone clicks on through a list of availability on a page of the accommodation?

  For example, if there is a link "Book now" on 11/17/2012 at the hotel of new in France, how I would make only if someone clicks on 'Book now' they then go to a form where they can fill in their details relevant information pre-filled for the date, they chose.

  All you have to do is have parameters in the URL and fill them according to the options.

  So... nextpage.html? country = & date =.

  And with jQuery that populate these settings on hover/click/change etc.

  Just make sure that they have values before going to the next page.

  On the next page all you do is use module_url.

  So for an entry for the country field you get the value {module_url, country} where the country is the parameter in the URL and the system will fetch its value.

  So the last part is simple, simply to get the url parameters defined when you click on through the following page.

  If it's a form, just add at the end of the action of the form.

  Yes, pre-fill is charged automatically shown in the latest version of the Live toolbar.

  You can get it back by closing all Windows Internet Explorer.

  a. press the Windows key and R together on the keyboard to open the run.

  b. then paste the following text:

  msiexec /x {995F1E2E-F542-4310-8E1D-9926F5A279B3}

  c. and then click OK. Click Yes to uninstall the product.

  d. This will uninstall the current Live toolbar. Then you can go ahead and install the old
  version of the Live toolbar.

  e. during Setup, you can select the Standard option if you wish. Once it's done
  installation, toolbar Live with the characteristic of form field should be back. You can have
  to go and add the rest of the old buttons however manually.

  You can't even download new menus/styles; You can then bring yourself with the SDK pack that you can download from the official website of Microsoft. It would be a bit complicated, but if you are good at programming you can use this SDK package. There are many online tutorials that will help you.

  After downloading this file, I suggest to install in compatibility mode, to do this, please follow the steps below

  Right click on the downloaded file > properties > click on the Compatibility tab > under compatibility mode > check the box run this program in compatibility mode for and select windows 7 in the drop-down list in the menu drop down and then apply the settings.

• Adapter entity from 10g to pre fill adpter in conversion of 11g r2

  I'm looking for expert advice on a migration of the adapter that I am doing.

  Here's the deal:

  As the entity adapters are not longer supported 11 g r2. I intend to convert the adapter of the entity on the shape of the object at the front fill the adapter on the process of 11 GR 2.

  The area that I am interested in has a data type of research. and I have observed that the form of process user for the resource has values that are not research.

  Q: is it possible fill in the value of the field with a random value (some user form filed in this case) that is not in the definition of research in 10g using adapters of the entity? Make the same adapter pre-filled using 11 g?

  Or the Enitity adapter is not in use in this case and its Direct copy of class since the form user field?

  Use the label of the field of the UDF.  The values must be constant.

• Pre-fill form non-hosted Eloqua entries

  Hi all

  I had some difficulty trying to get my landing page not hosted Eloqua to pre-fill with URL parameter values (which I spent an introductory email) in the form of embedded Eloqua.

  I tried the Javascript code that would normally work on the "regular" forms, but I think that since the form in a snippet Eloqua, apparently in error.

  I tried to access entries of form as such:

  document. Forms ["PotentialCustomer"] .field0. Value = "my default";

  Where PotentialCustomer is of the form name and Champ0 is the first input text.  I actually tried other methods of code, but they all fail - it's like I can't access to the Eloqua form until after the page has value.

  The error I encounter in the browser console, is:

  TypeError: document.forms.PotentialCustomer.field0 is not defined

  Yet, when debugging, I can plug a value here and it will BE popluate in the form.  Any ideas?

  It looks like you can run this code before the form HTML has been charged. Is the code called on the document ready event or if it just appears between the script tags in the HEAD section?

  I would recommend loading the jQuery library and ready to determine when the document is finished loading and then fill your form field value using. Discover this violin for an example: change fiddle - JSFiddle

• 'Not me' link on forms pre-filled

  We want to start adding an option at the top of our Eloqua forms which allow our visitors to say that pre-filled information is not associated with them.  I wonder if anyone has a surefire way of adding this feature.  And, if there are traps that we should avoid.

  Using the cookie can still cause the pre-population of the returning visitors who are browsing organically.

  We have implemented a step name on some forms in 2010 in an engagement with a simple javascript function that has entered the URL, deleted the elq querystring, and then set the location.href to this URL.

  It is a block of starting point below. It removes all querystrings so if you want to keep the campaign id or drive the source of the e-mail, you must add those in the new URL.

• Download the signature using the API and pre fill the signature

  I use echosign api to display forms to get the candidate (which comes on our site). We show the form of widget. We use more than 40 forms. It is difficult for candidates to sign all forms. Is there anyway I can get the signature of the candidate and pre fill out the signature using the API?

  If not, is there another way to do this?

  By default, it is always required by the signatories to give their signature any document esigning. Even with the API, it is not possible. If it is a single widget with several fields of signature, once the signer signs a first field, and then when he clicks on the second field of signature, the signature is automatically populated in it.

• Fill the layer with the color

  pse13 I am filling the layer.  The layer has a small rectangle on it and nothing else.  When I fill the layer, it fills the whole canvas, not only the rectangle!  It's used to work!

  1. Go to file > new > empty file. Type w, h and the resolution, & background color. It's the Web.
  2. Set up the fixed size Rectangle tool, enter w & h dimensions of the rectangle
  3. Use the paint bucket tool to fill the rectangle with the color of choice as determined by the foreground color chip.

  I'm looking for an alternative to the names typing or by copying and pasting on the forms that I distribute to its clients. I wonder if there is a way I can link an excel sheet calculation or data of a document export to pre-fill on each form. Something similar to a mailing of a certain type.

  Probably the best way to proceed is to import the data into Acrobat from a file delimited by tabs that you export from Excel. The first line must contain the exact field names and the following lines contain one or more records. When you import, you will be able to select a row of data, and it will then be used to complete the form. The workflow is:

  1. start by setting up a worksheet to include the PDF form field names as the first line.

  2. fill the worksheet with one or more records.

  3. save the worksheet in a text tab-deliimited file.

  4. open the form in Acrobat

  5 import a row of the data form, the text file. For example, tools > forms > more shape Options > import data > [select text file] > [select row]
