  If all goes well, a simple question.

  Install scripts OEM 12 c Supports pre/post in the form of shell scripts that can be run before and after a deployment or patching operation (for example when you deploy the Client OEM to a system, you can run a script before installation or after installation).

  These scripts can take a parameter?  Specifically, can the machine which is deployed to be transmitted to these scripts shell as a parameter (for example /opt/my_shell_script.sh HOST % where % HOST would be replaced by the host name being patched or transferred to for example).

  To be clear, I don't mean to have a script running ON the area being installed to... I want to use the box being installed in as a parameter of a script running on the Server OEM.

  Cannot find any documentation on what or if the parameters are supported in these pre/post installation scripts.

  Regarding your checks of preinstallation of the original question, have look at GDR - health check / Validation Engine Guide (Doc ID 250262.1)

  There are sets of different rules for different OS that you can use to check if all the conditions are met before installing

  You can consult the mos note "R12.1.1: Installation of Oracle E-Business Suite and upgrade Lotus Notes version 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x 86 (Doc ID 761564.1)" and install the needed packages from your installation media (most of the packages are available on the installation media, oracle has provided a separate link for those not available)

  If yum does not properly check out this (you are on 32 I doubt there is one for 32-bit)

  I think to Adobe Creative Suite Design Web Premium CS6 of the local campus bookstore so I can use it with the web certificate program that I take. They have a box version I will probably get. Cheaper than the version of digital download card. I had a few pre-sales questions, before I commit to buy it. The person that I spoke on the phone was not able to answer a few questions about the software, must have been a newbie and, unfortunately, the only one in the Department at the time.

  You check one time only. Acceptance makes you eligible for a serial number.

  To re - install after that, you install the software and enter your serial number.

  Make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements to run CS6.

• VMWare palyer not requiring installation

  I have a large enough USB for my image of Linux. I normally VMWare player on the key too so that I can play my image when I can get my hands on a PC. But VMWare player needs to be installed first. Installation is not always possible because I maybe don't have admin or root authority on the PC.

  I heard someone mentioned about standalone VMWare player 4 being available. I think this is what need the iI, so independent is really no installation required. This will allow me to play my image on any PC. I downloaded VMWare player 4's official website, but it must continue the installation. I can do it in the wrong URL. Can someone point me to the right one

• Zone after PeopleSoft installation default

  After the default Installation I see the time zone is set by default to PDT. I made the change of Base CST time zone to PeopleTools-> utilities-> Administration-> Options PeopleTools, but the process still shows as PDT?

  I don't know if I understand your question - what process always shows up also TDP?

  If you haven't done so already, you should check the 'Adjustment and maintenance of zones' section in the PeopleTools 8.51 Global Technology PeopleBook.

  You might want to watch PeopleTools > customizations > Customization Options, select the PeopleTools category and check the LTZONE and TZONE. LTZONE sets the local time zone and ZONE sets whether or not the local time zone is used by default.

  Otherwise CDT should be defined as the 'ID for DST' associated with the zone of CSE, and you must watch the Daylight Savings tab data to see if/when daylight savings time is in effect for this time zone. Switch to DST IDs page to see what represents each ID start/end of DST.

  Depending on your version of PeopleTools, you may need to apply a DST update to get the latest DST rules.

• ESXi 4 on an ASUS P5N - D numbers pre/post installation

  Hello community.

  I have weird questions som pre and Post install on a motherboard Asus P5N - D and ESXi 4U1

  Basic specifications:

  Chips inter Dual Core E5300, 4 GB of RAM and the 4 500 GB drives (running on the SATA Configuration in a RAID 5 on board giving 1.36 TB of space)

  In any case, on the baord BIOS indicates that the hard drive is a RAID 5 1.36 TB hard drive and the RAID report at startup shows as a table in good health.  However when I boot from the disk 4 of ESXi to install, when choosing the installation path, I see all 4 players for the RAID array each as opposed to a singular disc.

  Everyone fell on this? I missed a command at the beginning that I should put in manually?

  Also.  To try to solve, I then used a 1 GB USB key and installed ESXi on it.  Works fine and starts the machine, but when I go in the VSphere client, under the Summary tab for my box of ESXi, I see Datastore2 and the Datastore1 listed and being 465,50 and 461.50 sizes respectively.  It shows all 4 disks, but worse still, he is not showing them as a singular drive in an array.

  Everyone does this experience with this motherboard, or something similar?

  ESXi does not support this type of integrated RAID controller (often called fakeraid). The best you will get is individual disks. You can view the hardware compatibility list for a supported hardware raid controller.
