Think about replace you battery message but laptop lasted 3.5 hours!

I have a 3 month old packard bell laptop EasynoteTJ74. I had occasional messages he has been plugged, but the battery was not charging that have been set with a re-boot / power cycle of the PSU.

2 days ago, I received the message "0% available (clogged not load)"-consider replacing your battery "-even if the battery on the laptop light was always blue meaning completely responsible." After checking the forums that he suggested I put windows to do nothing when the battery ran down to drain well. What I did and after 3 1/2 hours the laptop is finally dead! Windows account of the spirit said I had 0% even if the start I know now this is completely false.

Unfortunately, even after the complete evacuation of windows refuses to load the battery and the laptop yet still think that battery light is blue when I plug the power supply unit is charged.

I contacted my cell phone provider and they just said ' send back and it will be £70 + VAT if it turns out be software - nice support. Microsoft said it would be £46 to log a call of support on my virtually new system, is is just me or are these issues a stream of very lucrative income for laptops and software providers?

For me the problem is simple, the chip on the battery that stores its condition / accusation was clearly wrong values set by Windows 7 and if these problems can be corrected the problem would be solved.

I look forward to your comments and all the words of wisdom.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if anyone cares, but my problem is solved. Last night and when the laptop turns off once the installation of the battery just started to charge, ran the last batch of updates windows 7! Not sure if it was just a coincedence, but everything seems fine now; (o)

The installed updates have been KB981078, KB958488, KB979900, KB980846 & KB982519 incase anyone is interested.

    Hello

You need not to do anything immediately.

This is just a notification that your battery reaches the end of its useful life. It also allows the current the laptop may be able to run for a short period, when it is not plugged in.

Make sure that you are not all essential functions, such as creating a backup using Windows Update, System Restore, installation of programs or other critical operations, unless the laptop is plugged into the AC adapter.

The notification is intended to let you know this and you can expect to replace the battery in the near future.

I recently installed windows 7 on my laptop and it was working fine until I noticed an x on the battery icon and he said I should change my battery. This is new since I have been using windows 7 during about 2 months now. I know there is a problem with my battery when I have my laptop connected to the adapter, it works fine but when I unplug it it will only last about 30 minutes and then turn off when used to last about 1 and a hald to two hours. How can I solve the problem.

You can fix this by replacing the battery with a new one.

Looking for the best way to replace the battery of my laptop. Buy a new for about 50 euros, but unfortunately no possibility for me at the moment: (.)

    Any tips?

    Sonaya

    Hi Sonaya

I can understand you but cheaper battery unfortunately isn't the best solution. What you need is compatible and original battery for your laptop.

If possible, wait a bit, save the money and buy the right one.
When you remove the original battery, you will find the exact reference. To order a new one.

Anyway, I think battery cheaper than you can find on ebay. Check it out and compare prices.

  • I bought an OEM version of Windows 8 64-bit from an online retailer. Think about changing the motherboard and I can transfer the license to it or not?

I bought an OEM of Windows 8 64-bit of an online retailer and I was wondering if this is considered a one-time activation? Because I think about replacing my motherboard and there seems to be a lot of conflicting info on knowledge if I can transfer the license or not.

Original title: reactivation of Windows 8

If this is the license OEM System Builder, that you bought, it includes transfer rights, which means that you can move to another motherboard and turn it back on.

    http://personaluselicense.windows.com/en-US/default.aspx,

"I can transfer the software to another computer or user? ." You can transfer the software to another computer owned by you. (You can also transfer the software (as well as the license) to a computer that belonged to someone else if one) you are the first user under the software license and b) of the new user accepts the terms of this agreement. To make a transfer, you must transfer the original media, the certificate of authenticity, the product key and the proof of purchase directly to the other person, without keeping all copies of the software. Whenever you transfer the software to a new computer, you must remove the software from the previous computer. You can not transfer the software to share licenses between computers. • question about the battery of the laptop when you do not use

    Hello

I see that if you take the battery laptop out when you are not using and you're wotking with adapter suply, it wil extend the life of the battery.

But what if I do not use this battery for several days and I put it away wil he unload his omnipotence?

    Thank you

    Johan

    Hi Johan,.

I don't think that it helps extend the life of the battery if remove you it from the laptop. It will also pay power when you are not using it.  For more information on the functioning of the battery, I would say that you see the battery user guide provided by the manufacturer of your laptop.

Hope this information helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

  • Message "Consider replacing your battery" Windows 7 and battery.

In the previous beta and Windows 7 RC, I received an error message saying "Consider replacing your battery" "there is a problem with your battery, so your computer might suddenly turns off".

I know that the battery is good. It works great under Vista, this isn't about 4 months, it lasts 2 hours +, and even in Windows 7, it will last for the same period of time as it did in Vista.

People say (as well as microsoft) that it's the BIOS and it must be updated.  Well, I got the latest BIOS from LG, which is dated in 2009, and that has not changed anything.  I conclude that it is NOT the BIOS because vista has reported estimated time left of the battery very well, even before the bios update, and I have the latest version of the BIOS.

I ran the command powercfg of energy and he said that windows was not able to determine the capacity of the battery, but if I install the batery LG application, it will tell me all the information on the battery.

I even went up to try battery of my friend who is less than 3 weeks, and there was always the same error messages.

Microsoft, fix this problem and if you cannot, then give users an option to take out / disable the flashing X which is on top of the power tray icon and remove both her "consider replacing your battery" and "there is a problem with your battery, so your computer might turns off suddenly" messages so we don't have to see that every day because the battery is actually GOOD and functioning.
