predefine the trace color palette

Has anyone found a way to change the set of colors used by Labview for color in a waveform or xy chart?  By default, the sequence of color is white, red, green, blue, yellow, purple, orange...  I'm working on a waveform graph that trace a sequence of signals collected by daqmx.  The user can choose what signals to measure and field - for example voltage, current intensity, light.  The user also defines a series of test where they would like to look at the response of the DUT to each segment of the sequence.

Based on other posts on this forum, I figured out how to switch between the two tracks in a xy chart to get the colors, but it seems like it should be much easier and more effective to simply change the preconfiguration of the colors that will be used by the waveform graph.   Why not just define the palette to something like red, white, red, white... and let the chart to do its thing?

Any ideas?

Depending on how your tracing memory are not as big.  If you use an XY graph, then you have to use twice the memory.  Just drag a data point y NaN between the two plots.  The only reason why I had to do the same was because I was using the waveform graph and had to have it.

As far as I know, the colors are hard coded in LabVIEW.  When you change the colors in the development environment, the changes are stored in the control, this is why you do not lose information when you close and open the VI or LabVIEW.  However, when you compile your code in an EXE file, all changes made in the EXE will not stick between the execution.   You can certainly change the colors using the property nodes, but unless you preallocate parcels that are not used, you will have to do with each new parcel, as Active plot isn't available for a plot on the graph, for a future track.

Personally, I stay with the 2 land and reduce everything I did a Nan.  It is much easier.

  • System is stuck on the classic color palette and don't return to the vista color palette

    I put my laptop on 5000mAh last night and then today I tried to open it but she refused to light because she had no battery, it probably updated itself, then restarted it self during the night (it has happaned before, it is quite old now, 3 years). But when I plugged in and turned on the theme (or so I thought) was classic. So I did the basics and tried to change the theme and and he said that it is on vista, but it just changed my wallpaper, returned and he says it's always on classic. Then tried to change the color scheme and when I click on Aero or basic preview is empty and if I click on apply just going darker. I tried many different things, like going to computor and clicking on manage and relaunch the themes. Went to the windows site and he did not like a check and he told me that the Office Manager wasn't on, I went and it was on and tried to restart my laptop.

    Please is - can anyone help with what I almost reached breaking point here and want to punch my laptop or throw it on the floor

    Yes, you can get the theme PNG with a URL, as indicated by Shamit.  You can take a screenshot, or if you use the iOS app, you can share an image of the theme by e-mail.

  • Restore the Vista color scheme

    original title: my Windows Vista window color to go and how do I restore it?

    My Windows Vista color scheme disappeared from my computer. To turn on my laptop this morning, I realized my taskbar has been a gray flat Strip and my previously round start button was a small rectangle. By clicking on the Start button, revealed my menus for the menus 2D without inspiration, that I remembered from earlier operating systems. I right click on the desktop, click on 'Customize', 'window color and appearance' and checked the color schemes in the "Appearance settings" dialog box He registered "Windows standard" Windows classic"and four high-contrast patterns. It does not, however, list Windows Vista. Now, I'm getting a little reached cognitive as I get older, but I'm sure that Windows Vista was listed as a color scheme this area the last time I looked. A quick check confirmed that, in all other respects, I am always under Vista Home Premium. Only the color scheme, transparencies, etc. seem to be affected. I remember doing nothing that should have an effect on my color schemes. Someone has an idea why my laptop would suddenly lose its color scheme of Windows Vista, and more importantly, how do I get it back?

    You also see "Windows Aero"? It should be at the top of the list. If so, select it, and then click APPLY. Wait for it to change. > click OK when done change Windows Aero.
    Now click on "window color and appearance", you will see the back color palette.

  • CC 2015.5 does not save the interface colors

    After installing CC2015.5, I noticed that my interface was reinstated to the lighter color palette, I prefer the darker.

    I changed the color of the interface in the preferences, but when the reboot of the SP, the color palette was light, once again.

    Suggest you follow the steps below:

    • Quit Photoshop
    • Navigate to the location of the settings Adobe Photoshop CC2015.5 folder

    • Give full read and write permissions on this issue of parameters CC2015.5
    • Launch Photoshop and check if preferences are saved

  • It is possible to disable the custom color picker color?

    Hi guys!

    I searched in the discussions on the color picker, but I found something...

    It is possible to disable the option to select a custom color? I work in a company that makes software to Brazilian clients, and not everyone understands English phrases...

    In other words it is the translation of the option, but I don't know if it is possible also.

    Thank you!

    You certainly need to add the stylesheet to the scene, not to anything else. If you take my example and change

    scene.getStylesheets ()...

    TO

    root.getStylesheets ()...

    you will see that it won't work anymore.

    The difference between that and the css that you used, it's that the css you used is applied to the selector button display color; You should apply styles to the popup (color palette), who does not appear in your VBox or AnchorPanes. Notice how the police changed to the name of the color in the button, but it has not changed for the label of 'Personal colour' you are trying to remove.

    Somewhere there is a code that adds the VBox you are subclassing of a scene and this decoration in a stadium. Your best option (maybe second best option, see below) is to find this code, you can add the style sheet to the scene itself.

    If you are working within a framework of someone else wrote and cannot access or modify the code where the scene is set, you have another option I see. Each node has a stage property that refers to the scene which this node belongs. So you can observe the changes made to this property and when it is updated, add the style sheet to the scene.

    So here's a hack to make my original hack works, in case you can not directly access the scene for some reason any:

    final String suppressCustomColorCss = getClass().getResource( "noCustomColorPicker.css").toExternalForm();
    colorPicker.sceneProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener() {
     @Override
      public void changed(ObservableValue observable,
      Scene oldScene, Scene newScene) {
      if (newScene != null) {
      List cssClasses = newScene.getStylesheets();
      if (!cssClasses.contains(suppressCustomColorCss)) {
      cssClasses.add(suppressCustomColorCss);
      }
      }
      }
    });

    This code basically says "when the color selector becomes an integral part of a new scene, add the stylesheet to this scene.

    At this point, you're applying notch on top of hack to get the effect you need. I think if I were in this situation I would not go ahead and define my own color chart. What you really need is a menu button, a property for the selected color and a popup with a layout of controls allowing to choose an arbitrary color. It would be a bit of work, but shouldn't be too hard. If you take this option (which I think may be your best bet), it's more work now but it will be clear what you do - when you (or other programmers on your team) eventually return to the code, you will understand how it works much better.

    You must also file two requests for features. An API toggle the option of choosing a custom color, as this seems to be a reasonable piece of functionality to have. The other should be properly internationalized text for the labels in the selector of colors, which are currently just hard coded in the code source in English.

  • Where is the color palette in Adobe Sketch? !

    I recently downloaded Adobe sketch to use on my new iPad Pro. Each of the tools seem to have already assigned to them that I can't change the colors. I tried EVERYTHING. Please help me.

    Thank you!

    KIm

    Hi Kim,

    To access the color palette, press any brushes in the Toolbox. That will open a color menu. To join the color selector, press the color circle in this menu. Tapping opens the menu color. Tabbed Picker (a color wheel), themes (a handful of predefined in the application color themes) and my library (color of Adobe Capture CC assets).

    To change your brushes, press and hold (hold) on any of the brushes in the Toolbox. Who will open the menu brush with tabs for App brushes (selection of the application of the brush) and my library (active brush of Adobe Capture CC.

    Since you are new sketches, here's a tutorial that may be useful: drawing and painting with Photoshop sketch | Adobe Creative cloud Mobile Apps tutorials

    Please let me know if you're still having problems changing the brushes and colors, OR if you have other questions.

  • Using the keyboard to increment values in STL & Hex color palettes

    Reach out to see if someone gets glitchy results trying to increment values in the STL & hex color palettes using their keyboard. I use 2015.2.1 on a Mac under 10.11.4. To be more precise, the works of hue but Saturation and brightness fail. None of the Hex field work.

    What is happening in the fields of Saturation and brightness are the numbers increment upwards once but then fail all following keys. Sometimes they will work only in one direction, incrementing, but fails then decrement. Hex fields fail to increment in total.

    The strange thing is that the fields of all other pallets work very well. This failure makes the colors to refine the most tedious. In addition, anyone else want to see a color STL for their LESS/CSS selector work?

    Hi Adrien,.

    Tried to reproduce the problem, however was not able to do. I suggest you to re-create your preferences to HAVE and then check. To do this, press Command + Option + shift (Mac OS) when you start Illustrator.

  • Auto Custom Color Palette apply to the photo?

    I have two questions:

    (1) is there a way to automatically capture the colors of a photo to create automatically a custom color palette? (for example, if I want a color palette of 20 colors, it would automatically pick 20 colors and create a palette).

    (2) is it possible to pick a custom color palette and automatically apply this palette to a photo?

    (I don't want to just use the color picker to choose my colors... I'm looking for Automation)

    Thank you!

    There is always the Image > adjust > Color Match (but this was not very successful in this case IMO).

    For lower quality and smaller size, you can use save for Web with GIF or PNG-8. Save and reload the color table.

    Thank you

    Double-click the word effect (this resets everything including the color picker)

    or

    Open the color palette, drag the saturation slider in the lower to zero.

  • No idea why the trace function is limited to 256 colors?

    y nA <-I typed everything and instead, it came out like that. It's the same thing when I tried to type "I want." VERY WEIRD. Worked fine in Notepad.

    On the subject. Why trace would be limited? I can imagine system performance would be affected by more colors, but shouldn't this be left to the user if they want to deal with?

    Looks like that the traces could be even more realistic picture if they allowed more colors.

    On the subject. Why trace would be limited? I can imagine system performance would be affected by more colors, but shouldn't this be left to the user if they want to deal with?

    Performance is more or less irrelevant. You get all simply yourself in a lot of trouble to create math of quantization under the hood in something else than 8 bit, at least with most of the algorithms. If you want, you get just too much to work with and the results of the internal equations get more ambiguous, which may have the undesirable effect of actually produce out worse. That said, it is really not meant for the realism of photography. If you wanted that you would employ different principles together to work with fields of vectors 3D instead of pixels or voxelization of algorithms that produce 'stable' results by comparing all the pixels, not just those near a certain threshold.
