  I see your Notes application crashes just after opening. When you have enabled synchronization iCloud offshore, you have not the question. I understand perfectly. I use iCloud for my Notes too, so I know how critical it is that it works, and you can synchronize Notes between devices. I'm happy to help you with this.

  First, we will start your computer in safe mode. Safe mode disables many startup items and can help you diagnose problems you're having with your Mac. Once in safe mode, configure iCloud via the Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud and test to see if you get the same result:

• Mail application is suspended

  9.2 mail application (Build 3112) hangs at the start of the application.  Even in safe mode.  Suspect some corrupt system and/or Mail Pref files / UI (?).  Carried out the full charge of the OS X 10.11.3 (Build 15 d 21) and restoring from Time Machine backup. However, couldn't find any combination of deactivation of accounts and/or deletion of .mbox entries that could make it work.

  I reloaded all the emails-sometimes suspended during reloading, then these offending .mbox directories has set aside for a later attempt.  After rebuilding is finally completed successfully (more than one offending .mbox was withdrawn), the Mail App would just stroll.  From dock app hangs after reloading resulted immediately reproducible.

  Noticed the following in the problem report: sending sweet thread limit: 64 (too many threads to send blocked in synchronous operation)

  Mail still works on my iPhone – so I know that IMAP accounts are OK...

  Is there a way to restore my account of any user from a previous snapshot in Time Machine?  (When I'm connected to the account that I want to restore, I get an error that the account cannot be changed or deleted because it is required by OS X.  When I'm logged in on another admin account, I can't restore the structure of directories in the user library...   Hmmm)

  If you use iCloud drive, please open the iCloud pane in system preferences. There is a marked checkbox iCloud drive, and next to that, a button labeled Options. Click this button and in the sheet that drops, that uncheck Mail if it is checked.

  Step 1

  If mail crashes or freezes immediately on launch, try the steps on this page. Sometimes a damaged on a mail server message can be deleted by logging in to the server through its web page. If Mail doesn't always start, or if you are unable to take step 2 for any other reason, go to step 3.

  Step 2

  There are three types of e-mail account: POP, IMAP, and Exchange. You can determine the type of each account by opening the Mail preferences window, by selecting the tab accounts and then click on account information.

  Export all the mailboxes of POP in the office folder.

  If you have accounts IMAP or Exchange and you don't store sent, deleted, and junk messages on the server, export these mailboxes in the same way. You can determine if the messages are on the server by selecting the mailbox behaviors tab accounts.

  Also export all the mailboxes in the category on my Mac.

  You do not have to export the other mailboxes, because messages are stored on the servers.

  Exit the Mail.

  Step 3

  In system preferences, open accounts (OS X 10.9 or later) Internet or Mail, Contacts and calendars (OS X 10.7 or 10.8). Take notes settings for each e-mail account (all types), and then delete the accounts.

  Step 4

  In the Finder, hold down the option key and select

  in the menu bar. Move the following (some may not exist) in the folder that opens on the desktop:

  Note: you do not move the Mail application. You move a folder named "mail".

  Step 5

  Launch of Mail. It will behave as if you have been putting in place for the first time. Go through the process of installation with a single account, using the information from step 3. Test. If Mail works now, recreate the rest of accounting (if you have several) and other parameters.

  Any writing paper custom that you created may be lost. Ask for instructions if you want to keep these data.

  If there is no improvement, quit Mail and put back items that you moved to the desktop, replacing the more recent who can be created in their place. Stop here and post your results.

  Step 6

  If you followed step 2, importing mailboxes mailbox that you exported (see article of support related to step 2 for instructions.) Generally speaking, the process takes a few minutes, but this can take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In this case, you will be able to speed things up temporarily by adding your file to the list of personal information protection in the Spotlight preferences pane.   Test. If Mail still work, remove items that you moved to the desktop in step 4.

  Reactivate the e-mail option in the settings to iCloud by car, if you have disabled it and retest. If you weren't already the iCloud drive with Mail, there is no need to enable it now, unless you want to.

• Gel application messages

  My Messages application is freezing when I open it, and I have to force quit to close. I am not able to use the application at all.

  I have an own OSX install based on a Macbook Pro, end 2013 edition shaped.

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  1. If a McAfee 'anti-virus' product is installed, please remove it by following these instructions.

  Back up all data before making any changes.

  2. If you synchronize Contacts with one or more network such as iCloud services or Google, please turn off all accounts contact in the iCloud or subwindow accounts system preferences. When you are prompted to confirm, choose to remove contacts from the Mac. They will still be on servers and other devices.

  Log off or restart the computer.

  If the problem is resolved, re-enable accounts one at a time, wait until the network contacts reappear and test after each step.

• Error 50103 during continuous acquisition and triggering

  Hi all

  I'm ai0 data acquisition: 3 4 analog inputs (voltage) in continuous mode, display the data (tables and graphs) and data flow to TDMS files in a loop of the consumer.

  The same time, I want to be able to save "time windows" with my purchase. For example, I want to be probe ai1:2 and when the voltage exceeds a certain value, that is to say 0, 5V, I can trigger with analogue reference and get a certain amount of samples (finished samples) after and before (samples before).   So, is it possible to accomplish this task without having to fall on reserving resources problem? And if there is not a way could you suggest a way to make this front trigger and trigger sampling?

  The first thing to do is update your version 6.6.1 Lightroom and try again.  No sense trying to debug an old version, especially that this old.

• 6.4 Lightroom does not start on my Imac on Yosemite...

  Just downloaded Lightroom version 6.4 (build 1060496) and you try to start the program. It blocks half a minute after the departure of doubleclick.

  I use a PCI-6602 card to record the time of incoming pulses. I would like to add a trigger line so that my program will retain the value data of 20us pulse before and after the outbreak. I tried to use a trigger to armstart, but I only managed to configure to start recording after this trigger impulses, and if I don't get the before trigger pulses. I also tried to set up a relaxing instead stop: I read pulse time and ignore data prior to 20, and when the trigger comes I let the program run for 20 microseconds. The problem with that is that, being new to LabView, I did not understand how exactly to do this kind of buffer that will reject the older data. I looked at a node of feedback, set to return only the samples after a number of iterations of my acquisition of data earrings, but of course, that returns only the oldest data. I also feel that using this method of stop-trigger seems a little roundabout. I have create a new task for the trigger channel, and I fear that this may slow down my program because I need to run continuously (I want data surrounding several triggers), and it seems unnecessary to re-create the task each time. Any suggestions? Is there a simpler way that I have not yet thought to?

  These express vi is known to be ineffective.  All this works only to save the last 20 values.  Hmmmm OK I have attached a mod of your vi who works as a buffer and operates on data without conversion of type and the place (should be orders of magnitude faster) I also have initiallized the SR and FBN and fixed a bit of logic on the counter

• How can I download a sample of a pre-ordered iBook?

  Hello world. I pre-ordered an iBook a few weeks back. I recently heard say that the book (Bobby BONES: I'm not alone if you are reading this) now contains a sample 30 pages to download before the book comes out on May 17.

  When I went to the iBooks store on my iPad 2 (with all the latest software), I searched the book and tried the button 'download sample '. He wasn't there - all that it was me that I pre-ordered the book. The book was also in my library book shelf, but clicking on it took me to the page of the book in the store.

  Download these pages somehow, even if I pre-ordered the book? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

• A loop of a sample of EXES

  Ugh.  I used to do this with my eyes closed in the early 1990s with an Akai S2800s.

  I have additional trouble in Logic X so I'll try to do this in Logic 9.

  All I want to do is put an audio file graphically set loop points and EX.

  I have "convert audio file into a sampler instrument" by the audio region arranges a right-click.

  I will open EXS Editor, right-click on the sample and select 'Open in an audio editor' (this is impossible in logic x for some reason any)

  I select a piece of audio.  On the Edit menu, I chose "selection of sampling loop."  The section of the loop is displayed in the bar of the loop below, as expected.

  Now the problems:

  (1) in the audio editor-, the loop is ignored during the preview.  When the loop mode is enabled, the preview loop selection cursor, not the section of the loop

  (2) playing the EXS instrument with the keyboard does not recognize the loop probably because:

  2 bis) the EXS Editor shows always loop of 0 and 0 points

  (3) I think I'm supposed to save the audio file, I'm editing with its loop point before being able to play and hear the loop?  (which would be still unacceptable)

  Playing the keyboard, loop should be on in the EXS Editor.

  In the audio editor, you must change the selection by loop start and end points bar, not selection cursor.

  Loop is saved when you save instrument.

• myRIO sampling rate

  I'm new to myRIO and use it to measure sine wave (0V to 5V) of up to 10 Hz 20 KHz. I also quickly transformed of Fourier (FFT) of the signal measured in real time.

  Sideways FPGA of things, I try to keep things pretty simple, just read 2 channels of AI (connector B: AI0 and AI1), therefore potentially able to read each HAVE 250 kech. / s (as the unit has a capacity of 500kS/s). Does that mean this program gets a two analog inputs data exactly every 4 microsecond? If this is not the case, how can I make sure that the data is acquired through a fixed sampling rate?

  

  I realized that we can add to the FFT in FPGA function, but I wanted to manipulte the acquired data of analog inputs before it is sent to the FFT, which I don't know how to do now. Can someone explain me how do the arithmetic data (muliplication, division and so) on the acquired data and analog inputs to reducde the 12-bit resolution 10-bit to program FPGAS.

  Later, I created a myRIO program to read analog data 2 FPGA program which continues to turn in timed loop. In the program myRIO, the timed loop is configured to 1 MHz clock source type by a delay of 25 microseconds.

  This configuration means that the loop runs exactly every 25 microsecond?

  When I set up the less than 10 micro second time, myRIO has stopped working. Why is it so?

  Is it because myRIO cannot run as fast as FPGA?

  A lot of good questions here, I will try to answer as much as I can so as to offer a bit of advice.

  First of all, if you are looking to acquire data at a very specific rate on the FPGA, you'll want to use the Timer VI.  You are also going to use a FIFO of DMA to transfer data of FPGA in real time. A node read-write using as you do now means you'll run out of samples, or read the sample even several times.  The link below is a very good tutorial on how to do what I described above.

  In general, you should not run a timed loop much faster than 1 kHz.  Using timed inside loop knots, you can monitor the real rate of loop during execution to see if f you meet your needs of the moment.

  The portion of your myRIO RT is slower than an FPGA in the sense where it cannot manage the rates of lines 40 MHz (he makes up for it by being able to work with much better pictures) and it is important to remember that it is just a computer.  The advantage of a real-time operating system, is that you have more control on the Scheduler, not that he is faster (less jitter, not faster code).   I would say that it is generally advisable to treat your FFT on the side FPGA as long as you have the resources available, but for many applications probably little matter ultimately.

• How to delay a PXI-5122 trigger before routed to string of PFI

  I use a PXI-5122 in a PXI chassis. I want to synchronize with two external devices. The first will send a trigger (with a 10 Hz repetition rate) for PXI-5122. Then PXI will generate a trigger (with a constant delay) in the second.

  It seems that I need to generate a trigger, then export this trigger to PFI 0 line, but I do not know how to delay triggers with a timeframe of 4µs. I read that there is a slight delay between a trigger on the PFI and the first sample. And the length of the cable is also an important factor to consider.

  Could someone give me some suggestions?

  Thanks for the drawings, that helps a lot!  Somehow, I see this work (how to set up the scanner):

  1. set up the record length to be 12us (4us trigger samples, 8us after outbreak).  If the sampling frequency is 100 ms/s, that would be a record length of 1200 samples.

  2 configure the position of record reference to 33%.  That's how the digitizer breaks 1200 400 samples according to trigger before triggers and 800 samples.

  3. configuration of triggering immediate reference.  This will allow the acquisition of trigger the moment she gained 400 before triggering samples.

  4. export the "reference trigger (Stop)" to send to Device_2.  This output pulse is of variable width, so if you want consistency, you will need to the Device_2 trigger the rising edge of the pulse, did not not fall m.  Once 400-pre-trigger samples are acquired, this impulse will be sent, and then the scanner will be immediately habitable after initiation of sampling.

  5 configure the trigger of the entrance of Device_1 (10 Hz trigger), as the 'Advance trigger' and 'Start Trigger'.  This will make the digitizer wait this impulse to start sampling before the next record.  We set up, the relaxation of beginning to the 1st record and the trigger in advance for all subsequent records.

  This facility should allow a pretty decent timing, but please test to be sure that it will be sufficient for your application.

• 4472 sampling finished

  Hi all

  I use a 4472 to take a sample done with a digital reference falling edge triggering. The sample per channel is set to x and the pre-trigger amount is 90 %x. Now we start taking data using the StartTask (task_handle) in LabWindows/CVI. Suppose a falling edge coming soon after start of the measurement task so that it will not be long enough for 4472 to acquire 90% of data points x. In this case, is it possible that 4472 will overlook this first reference trigger and continue to fill the pre-trigger part until the arrival of the next reference trigger?

  Hi XR.

  I think I understand what you're asking, but I repeat just to clarify: you want to know what happens when you set a reference to a DSA device trigger after the beginning of the task running at the hardware level, but sufficient time has not elapsed to capture all pre-trigger samples you specified before the arrival of the trigger.  Is this correct?

  I've included a visual aid that we hope will make things clearer, in which 10 samples are acquired.  9 nine samples are specified as sampled pre-trigger (90% of 10) and the rest 1-sample is a sample of trigger post.  In the picture, earlier reference trigger can happen to capture all 9 samples pre-trigger is between 9 and 10 samples.  It will arm the device to collect the remaining samples 1 (10th sample) as the trigger after.

  The Manual of the DSA (on page 2-17, or p. 30 of the PDF) explains what is happening in this situation.  The device will ignore triggers until first pre-trigger samples fill the buffer allocated for these samples.  After that pre-trigger samples are filled in part of the buffer, pre-trigger samples will continue to be updated with the most recent examples until the trigger is detected, and the remaining part of the buffer will be filled with samples after outbreak.

  In other words, once pre-trigger samples are acquired, the circuit and then waiting for a trigger arm the remaining samples in the data after release.  If the trigger circuit will not affect functionality pre-trigger or after trigger until all pre-trigger samples are taken first.

• External sample clock change takes a lot of time on the SMU-5186

  Hello

  I use the external Lv - niScope EX Clocking.vi example to define SMU-5186 using an external sample clock.  However, it takes a long time, 5-6 minutes, before I can get the first block of data acquisition.

  Then I run the example 'niScope EX Acquisition.vi Configured' to switch to dashboard clock. There are also 5 to 6 minutes on the first acquisition.

  I think maybe the SMU-5186 made some calibration when I change the source of the clock.

  Anyway is to ignore the calibration? Or make it faster?

  Delays in acquisition are caused by calibration routines that must be performed on the engine to sample (ADC) every time that changes sampling rate.  This ensures our justified precision specifications.

  I don't know if you've noticed also calibration of Power-Up, which will take 5-10 minutes to complete when the unit is turned on.  This is mentioned in our specifications at page 18:
