A loop of a sample of EXES

Ugh.  I used to do this with my eyes closed in the early 1990s with an Akai S2800s.

I have additional trouble in Logic X so I'll try to do this in Logic 9.

All I want to do is put an audio file graphically set loop points and EX.

I have "convert audio file into a sampler instrument" by the audio region arranges a right-click.

I will open EXS Editor, right-click on the sample and select 'Open in an audio editor' (this is impossible in logic x for some reason any)

I select a piece of audio.  On the Edit menu, I chose "selection of sampling loop."  The section of the loop is displayed in the bar of the loop below, as expected.

Now the problems:

(1) in the audio editor-, the loop is ignored during the preview.  When the loop mode is enabled, the preview loop selection cursor, not the section of the loop

(2) playing the EXS instrument with the keyboard does not recognize the loop probably because:

2 bis) the EXS Editor shows always loop of 0 and 0 points

(3) I think I'm supposed to save the audio file, I'm editing with its loop point before being able to play and hear the loop?  (which would be still unacceptable)

No. 3A) save option in the Audio Editor window.  Can I save AS?  Still, who does not seem to work.

I did a very good job of not to scream.  You are welcome.

Seriously, thanks for any help.

Playing the keyboard, loop should be on in the EXS Editor.

In the audio editor, you must change the selection by loop start and end points bar, not selection cursor.

Loop is saved when you save instrument.

That of all, have to work!

    Hello

I would like to acquire the data of the instrument with a 6024E Board then put the peaks and which repeat at the highest frequency possible. The task of data acquisition is configured for sampling finished using a trigger, generated by the instrument (55 Hz) signal.  When I use a VI such as demo_v1 (see below) everything works well but it takes about 200ms, just for the lu DAQmx VI to run.

It seems that begin the task outside of the loop (see demo_v2) helps reduce acquisition time, but it no longer works with over sampling. If I configure the task of sampling in continuous synchronization with the trigger of the instrument is lost.

How can I solve this problem?

    Bernard

    OK, thanks for the clarification.

Another clue would be to use WAS redeclenchables, which means that you combine a Counter task - that is redeclenchables - in order to generate a sample for your Acquisition of AI clock. For example a trigger of your instrument happens every time you take exactly 100 samples with the clock generated by the task of counter.

  • Sampling rate 9172 OR cDAQ

I am using a cDAQ 9172 with modules NI 9219, NI 9264 and three NI 9211.  I'm looking to acquire signals out of the acquisition of data within a loop under continuous sampling.  My program works fine if I set the number of samples to read 1-2 Hz, but I need to go faster than that.  If I change the sampling rate, the loop is executed at this speed but sensors still read only in samples at 2 Hz and then duplicating over and over again.  I was wondering if it was possible to read on 1 sample at the time of the acquisition of data at a faster rate.  I know that the frequency of sampling on the sensors and data acquisition are much higher than that.  1 sample at the time of the Board of Directors has the limitatioins of being only able to run at 2 Hz?  Please let me know

    Thank you

    Craig

    Hi Craig,.

I don't know exactly what you describe. Are you feeding the DAQmx Read output in an express VI? Or are you using the express VI DAQ Assistant for the analog input task?

If you use the DAQ Assistant, you can set the ADC synchronization mode without changing your code:

If not, use the 'Active channels (if subset)' property to control the subset of channels on which your VI defines AI. ADCTimingMode.

For example, the following code snippet creates 8 virtual channels named myVoltage0 by myVoltage7 and sets HAVE them. ADCTimingMode on myVoltage4 of virtual channels through myVoltage7. These are in the cDAQ1Mod2/ai0 physical channels via cDAQ1Mod2/ai3:

If you leave off of the entry "name" on the string to create VI, then the virtual channel names are the same as the names of physical channel, so it's the equivalent:

And by the way, a right-click on the property and selecting "create > Constant ' context menu saves you from having to hardcode a number like 14712.

  • Analog LabVIEW myRIO data sampling rate

I have been using the myRIO to acquire the audio input from a microphone.

In LabView, I use the VI Express Analog Input to get the data.
I wanted to know if there was a way to increase the sampling rate of the data of this VI, or any what VI to whom?

    Hi ykhali,

Try to put the VI in a timed loop and set the loop to your sampling rate.

    Kind regards

  • sampling time changed the buckle timed

    Hello world

I use the timed loop to control the DC motor with the vi of PID. in the loop and the sampling time are defined as 0.01 s. However, after I added a few other screws in the loop, for example, writing of measure file.vi, to collect the errors between the angle and the practical perspective of the engine for the time histroty the movement of the motor, we find that the sampling time changed, not always 0.01 s before the vi has been added, but 0.01 or 0.02 s. the entire program desinged to be fininshed with 7 s, now's done it at 9.4 s, that is, execution of the loop time is extended.

Another thing is, if the sampling time is defined as s 0.05, the sampling time is always 0.05 s and the execution time of the loop is always 7 s as predined, regardless of writing custom file.vi is added in the loop or not.

As a result, I think that if the complexity of the loop is incresead and time of sampling sets is small, then the actual sampling time will be modified due to the design of things load in the timed loop. What is the reason? If so, are there methods to solve?

It is important: the collection of the angular error of the engine in the time histrory is very important, which will be used to show the correctness of the settings KP, KI and KD.

A friend suggested using the queue vi, but I don't really know how to use them. Can someone give some instructions?

    Thanks a lot!

    See you soon

Cram features in a timed loop is like stuffing 5 books you know that in a book bag 3. The timed loop is only really practical on a rt system, but even in this case, if the code inside requires more time than the period of the loop, there is no magic that the loop can do to increase the execution time. Just point out you that the loop is late. The solution is to remove features from the inside of the loop. Writing to a file of measure is one of the worst if you write to a text file. Look at the producer/consumer model of design that you have examples of. There, you will have a normal loop that you will write to a queue, and a second loop will process data in the queue. Use file > open...

  • DAQmx task Read DAQmx with sampling frequency of 10 Hz produced much too much data

I have a simple configuration with a strain of channel 4 OR-9237 amp holds a carrier of series C of WLS - 9163 (wired ethernet mode) - Details probably does not matter.

I used MAX to create a DAQmx task associated with which all four gauges samples.  The calendar setting is "Scan Loads" is continuous sampling, 2 k buffer (read samples) and 10 Hz rate.  I guess that this task would generate 40 data values per second - 10 for each channel.

I have a simple loop of reading using DAQmx Read.vi that works always (without any stimulation time).  Playback is set to read all available data and then pump it into a table.
In the attached example, I also added a few words of debugging to stop the loop after N iterations.

As the loop is programmed with a 0.2 second period, I expect each pass of the loop to read about 8 samples or 2 samples per sensor.  Instead, I get hundreds each passage.  It's like reading has substituted the sampling frequency specified in the task of the unit.  I absolutely need data to be material to the rhythm.

    Where have I lost?

    Thanks Adnan,

I changed your example I selected 'Strain gage' entry analog and then lowered the minimum and maximum thresholds to +-1-2.  What happens is that each other in the loop, I 2048 samples or zero samples.  The display flashes a whole line and then it clears any other past.

In response to your second post, I understand that the loop cannot run quite right that I select.  I think that, but at a sampling frequency of 10 Hz, I have to sleep on the software side for nearly a minute before I built 2 K samples.

I played with the frequency of sampling, assigning to various values from 0.1 to 10000Hz.  The behavior is the same until I approach the high rates where available samples remains to 2048-4096 sometimes, the display becomes continuous.

Ahhh, Darn.  Yet another search was this link that points to the root of my confusion.  The 9237 can taste arbitrary rates using its internal clock.  Duoh!  I wish that the pilots are smart enough to warn you if there is a discrepancy between the selected sampling rate and capabilities of the device

  • How to set up the execution in a way independent while loops?

    Hello

I hope someone here can help point me in the right direction for that.  My system at this stage is still quite simple, I just data collection of 2 resistance probe and a pressure sensor, their output in the Panel before and sometimes to write.  I have put architecture in place to call parallel loops running at the frequency I would ideally like to do.  that is, I want the RTD to update every seconds and the pressure transducer for updating chaque.5s, I want to write to the file at a rate defined by the user and I want the Panel before updating a half second (correspondence with the pressure transducer).

Now, in the structure, I wrote, it should run all the while loop once before it can restart the sequence.  Technically, the code works, but it takes ~1.5s to the RTD to collect and update and so the whole VI takes ~1.5s to complete.

I don't care if the RTD is slow to update, but as I use the sensor as a gauge of the cell pressure I need to know at a high frequency that the pressure is in the cell, and I don't want to wait 2 seconds for the information.

I know I'm starting to get into a much more advanced architecture for this and ive spent the last googler 6 hours trying to find a procedure for how it works but I can't figure out a way to have the whiles stop waiting for RTD loop finish.  I guess that this is to divide the VI in several screws and construction of a library, but the resources I could find about it were not very useful for a beginner like me.  If someone could point me in the right direction on where I should look then that would be great!

    Thank you

    Zach

    Zach,

Because you created the tasks of data acquisition elsewhere, we do not understand how you have set up. Continuously, starting and stopping tasks may be slower than setting up of a permanent task and let it run.

You have not indicated that you use the DAQ hardware.  It is often better to leave in the DAQ hardware clock set ignition rather than rely on software distribution. The pressure loop reads 1000 samples at a time and calculates their.  If you're not sampling at 2000 s/s or faster, the loop ends late due to waiting for data.  In two loops DAQ, you do not use the calendar information.  Acquire the data in tables rather than waveforms.

The Dequeue functions in the loop at the bottom have no wait times for this loop will not iterate until all three queues have data. As the pressure loop runs faster than the loop of RTD, the queue of pressure slowly fills.

The upper and lower loops are vying for the data.  The preview queue item does not delete data from the queue, but the functions of the Dequeue elements in the loop of the low fact.  If data is deleted form the queue before the upper loop resembles it, it will never be saved. With your installation there is no way to ensure that you get all the data or that you do not read and record the same data more than once.

You don't have anything set up to stop one of the loops.  You use the Cancel button to stop your VI?  If Yes, STOP! Other aprticpant on the Forums said: "using the button abandon to stop a VI is similar to the use of a tree to stop a car.»  It works, but can have unintended consequences. "Things like closing of files, freeing up the queues, by closing the task of acquiring data, and other things can occur when the program is interrupted.  You do not shut down your computer by pulling the plug.  Stop your program also neatly.

Ok.  I have highlighted some of the things that can keep your program to run as desired.  What can you do about them?

    1. you probably don't need call loops.  Normal so the loop should be good enough.

2 put a stop button on the front panel. Put the terminal in loops (bottom) and connect it to a function to send a Notification and the status of the Terminal loop (stop sign).  Put wait Notification functions in each of the other loops.  Put a period shorter than the time loop minimum on all of them if the lops can work.

    3. see the comments above regarding the DAQ bed material.

4 use the Dequeue timeouts to adjust the pitch of the loop the loop where the data is used.  Also make sure that all data is removed.  You need to think about your time together and what are the bottlenecks.  Except if you expect this system to grow to much larger dat sets, I probably acquire ALL data (pressure and RTD) at the same rate and reduce the displayed amount by the average like you do for pressure data now.  If you want different final data rates, just average different amounts of data.

    5. it might be useful to learn how to work the State machines.  Display, averaged and recorded files could be managed in a loop by a simple state machine while allowing for more flexibility in the calendar.

    6. Another good reason to consider a state machine is that initialization and shutdown processes can easily be handled in the corresponding States. At this point you do nothing with errors. A state machine would enable you to handle errors (for example, the cancellation of the selection of the user files) without stopping the program.

  • best type of measure daqmx for several closed loop control system

    Hello

I wonder what kind of type of measure daqmx which are suitable for the control system of closed loop with control about loop 128?

I design unique loop with continuous sample and sample application. The two correct answer. But I don't know if the control loop number increases.

Another question is, clock synchronization of time needed for such a system?

    taov,

I recommend you to use continuous sampling because it is time of material while on demand collection is software time.

  • NEITHER 9212 - issues with sampling frequency, number of samples and size of buffer or slowness comes together with thermocouple module

To begin with, I am very new to labview and unfortunately on that my first task is to build something rather complicated for a project that my company works. Fortunately it is especially followed rather than control critical processes.

Currently, I have a cDAQ with modules, DI, AO, and TC.

    cDAQ-9133

    NEITHER 9472

    NEITHER 9421

    NEITHER 9263

    NEITHER 9205

    NEITHER 9212

I'm currently running read-write for all 5 of these modules in parallel while loops and analog and digital inputs/outputs modules that all work as expected. Each loop requires 1 sample per channel through the wizard DAQmx etc for each module and I got can interact with all the asyncronosly inputs and outputs which at the moment is the goal. I can switch power switch for each module save memory, or if the need arrives later.

My problem is that the module TC (NI 9212) when tilt on which allows the acquisition of sample 1 loop seems to take much, much longer to collect samples. I have played with different acquisition parameters and can seem to get a continuous flow of data when you use streaming samples, or even when specifying N-samples but I come in questions where the "application cannot catch up with the hardware.

I tried to find an optimal number of samples/sampling, rate, etc I can get an update of temperature more than every 1 to 2 seconds, but if I set the number of samples that are high enough to apparently get a constant flow, what ends up happening waveform graphs seem to lag behind the actual data, and that's where I get errors. I only want 1 sample per channel per cycle anyway. Yet once, all the other modules in the cycle with less than 100ms delay between acquisitions but the module thermocouple ends up being 1-2 seconds. It's okay because in our application temperature should not rise/drop very quickly but its boring nonetheless.

I have the acquisition set up for the same (NI 9212) thermocouple module was like my modules of analog and digital inputs (NI 9205 and NI 9421) take 1 sample every time the task is called so I'm having a hard time understand why do the same for the TC module introduced such a delay. Max sampling rate is supposed to be 95 samples/s/ch, so I guess that the delay must come from call the task over and over again in a loop.

Synchronization and how you have configured the 9212?

In the case of high resolution, it can reach 1.8 samples/s. see page 7 of the plug technique here for rates for the supported modes:

  • Continuous sampling method get unreasonable values

Here to measure the amplitude of a signal as Attaché of the 'Ori.jpg' file, if you use the method of samples N (1 k samples, rate of 239kHz) for the acquisition of data, the result was perfect in the file '1k_N.jpg '. But the speed was too slow.

Although the method of sampling performed much more quickly, continuous values were not usable. As files "1k_continuous.jpg". Do not know what is causing these outliers, and he only appeared occasionally. The 10.5537 should be the maxmum reading value of NI 6361.

BTW, is - this impossible to accelerate the sampling method N? Even tried 20 samples instead of 1000, the loop still cost of similar duration. Data acquisition was not stopped in each loop.

Helps decrease the time of N sampling or taking good readings from continuous sampling method are greatly appreciated.

    PEM

In the version N-samples the DAQ Assistant acquires only 200 samples whenever it is called and it returns oll of them. In the continuous version samples sample are acquired in the 59000 per second, they are returned to the main program or read or not. Yes, at a rate of 20 ms per iteration about loop 900 new samples are acquired than read at each iteration.

When an error occurs the DAQ Assistant, stops the task and Unreserves it. The next time the loop runs through the DAQ hardware to reconfigure. I have no way of knowing with certainty, but it is possible that some false values enter the buffer during the shutdown process / reconfigure.

  • To the bottom of the sample

    Hi all

I need to re - sample a 1KH 1MH tdms file, it seems that it is possible with the help of "Sample Compression" but the point is the entrance to this block is a single signal and my tdms file consists of a few different channels a beginner I don't know how to get my file PDM signals and connect them as inputs to the block of "Compression of the sample!

I would really appreciate if someone can help me with some advice.

    Thank you very much

    Navid

Read your file TDMS using the open functions then reading PDM.  Here you can specify the offset and length to read.  You can then put this into a while loop get 1000 samples at a time stopping when there is an end of file error, or your reading returns less then 1000 samples.  Take these samples of 1000 and get the average of them.  Then write this single data point to the TDMS file as a new group.  Then close the file TDMS times all 1000 pieces have been processed.  Then you will have a file with the raw data in the existing group and decimated in the new data.  You can also choose to save them in a new TDMS file but I find that to do this way because it would be all in one file.

  • Last updated Winload.exe is more signed

So the last update of windows has been installed automatically, and shortly after that my computer turns off and I found myself stuck in a loop of startup restart, I myself turned in a repair boot loop, then to a WinLoad.exe is not signed error screen. I did the restore of the system and could not solve the problem, I bootrec / everything, even tried sfc/config, but it says that I need to reload windows to make it work. (What I would do if I could load windows) Even the disk to fix Windows crashes just before it finishes loading. I've been trying my brain for days trying to figure what happened until I read the little ad on the optional update that came out today and the other slightly in the future. I could wait, but I can't update if I can't get into WINDOWS!  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can put signatures on Winload.exe, Winresume.exe all my User32.dll files for x 64 and x 86 (I know I had the Trifecta of files has chosen it, like I got lucky this on the track) many thanks for at least taking the time to read this, and if you know how I can fix this problem please let me know. Kind regards.

I managed to finally get into windows, I used Active @ Boot Disk to access my hard disks file system and took all the additional files of Winload.exe and Winresume.exe files (there were about 8 extra each) I then copied Winload.exe and Winresume.exe files from my laptop and transferred my office troubled. Then I reloaded with the Windows 7 installation disc and reconstructed the boot with these commands in this order. Bootrec /rebuildbcd bcdedit/export c:\bcdbackup attrib c:\boot\bcd-h - r s ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old bootrec bootrec bootrec /rebuildbcd /fixboot /fixmbr later, I loaded windows up and it worked, rude I'm now told that my copy of Windows 7 Pro is no longer "Genuine", lol, I can worry about fixing this small issue in the morning , now I can finish with everything that I need to before I format this drive and fresh all over again. It can be a pain in the * to do, but when you really need to get back in and everything you learn and try fails, at least, this is a way that will get back you in.
