Premiere Pro 5.5 make a subelement containing Razor Cut to create a clip

Premiere Pro 5.5 make a subelement containing several mode but in fact with a subelement

Select all the 3 clips, right-click the selection and choose nest. Type a name for the nested sequence and it will be added in the project Panel. Therefore, you can process the sequence that is nested as a single item.

See you soon,.

  • Premiere Pro - how to make a power of Attorney?

Hello! This is my first time on the Adobe forums. I use Premiere Pro CS6 on Windows.

I received a short film to change (this is my first shot) with the film being originally: Apple ProRes 4444, 1920 x 1080, 24 VPS

As I am on a PC, I can't export the whole movie in this same format - so I will (later on) move the project to a Mac (and maybe Final Cut Pro) to solve this problem.

But in the meantime, I've been invited to export several clips in the film as substitutes, so that the VFX artists can create layers which are then added to the original images.

VFX artists require same rate (24 fps) and the same resolution (1920 x 1080).

I don't see a QuickTime preference that allows this.

What are my best options for specific ASAP proxies? Thank you!

1080i Preset and change the frame rate to 24 and progressive fields (if they want progressive - will almost certainly for VFX)

  • Adobe Premiere Pro, rendering and make again?

    Hello.

I have a large collection of mp4 videos and the memory becomes full. I want to save space of memory by convergent clips selected from each mp4 files in a great videos, but I don't think that this will be the final video. So the question is, if I make a file and use the output file again rendered again with the same output parameter, the video quality decreases it the first time only, or its quality decreases whenever she went?

If you mean by rendered exported, Yes.

I think you mean the hard drive space, not memory.

The best solution would be to get a bigger hard drive or additional hard drives.

  • Why isn't Premiere Pro using my makes export?

I've been by clicking on 'Use previews' in Media encoder to speed up exports, but it doesn't seem to make a difference, it still takes half an hour to 3 minutes, no matter what I do to export. Because it crashes when I try to export more, then 3 minutes and also crashes when I try to make more than 3 minutes, I'm really stubborn by my long one project, it is quite frustrating.

It's fixed! I think so! I updated my Windows system and suddenly it works. It must have been some conflicts. I have Windows 7 and I saw an error message saying something about Windows Media Player, 32-bit and 64-bit, I, but I don't know who was linked. But I tried timidly export pieces bigger and larger, even without make it first, and it is popped in a few minutes. Phew! Thank you all for your suggestions because I have explored the corners of the system and program with thinner then than repeat the things little I could think in panic.

  • Premiere Pro will not make a clip with reverse

I have a video sequence where several clips are threaded. One of the clips I ticked the box reverse speed and he slowed down. The clip would not render or export. After some troubleshooting, the only thing I had to do was uncheck the reverse speed and would be fine. This seems to be a bug in the current version of the CC, because it was working fine until I updated the app.

Help, please. I need to finish this video and out to the customer.

I found that power GPU rendering for the playback engine off and go with the software only worked for me. This seems to be a problem that adobe has to fix

You can have many compositions of AE related dynamically in a Premiere Pro sequence. Just select an item (or multiple clips) in the Assembly of the sequence, right-click, then choose replace with After Effects Composition.

Note: this is not how I would do, but that's what you ask and a lot of people do it this way.

I just usually copy and paste clips from first in an AE project, working on it in AE and then make it in an intermediate codec in AE render queue and bring back the file obtained in the first.

I don't know what you mean by that.

Again, I'm not quite clear on what you're asking. You can certainly do AE work and drop it in your Premiere Pro sequence.

I'm not sure. Move your time indicator current far in your composition.

It might behoove you to read the help on work with Premiere Pro AE file.

  • Premiere Pro CC - program monitor displays only a black screen

    Hi all

I hope there, can someone help me (and I'm sure many others) with this problem.

I used the first Pro CS6 and was at Midway through a project when I upgraded to first Pro CC. It was very good and I finished the project, however shortly after this when I re-entered Premiere Pro CC to make some final adjustments and settings, the program monitor seems to be black. I see nothing but black on the monitor of the program window. When I play the project, the sound works fine, but I don't see anything in the program monitor.

Please see the discussion linked here (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5487954) for more information on this issue. I'm hoping to turn the heat on it and get answers for everyone having this problem. She made my first Pro useless right now. I can't yet start new projects because it has the same problem.

NOTE: I tried to roll back the CS6, but it does not work and I discovered this forum that roll back versions has never been possible. I also tried to reinstall CC PP but that does not solve the problem.

I hope someone can help here.

    Thank you!

I hope never auto-updates for nothing! I went to Nvidia.com and found a driver for your 5200M last month, try this - http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-320.49-whql-driver.html

  • Premiere Pro CS6 vs After Effects CS6

I would like to know which of these programs would be better for me.   I shot with my Canon Vixia HFS 20 HD camcorder.  I have a studio decent green screen set in place in my basement.  I currently use Corel VideoStudio Pro X 3 and I'm not happy with the chroma poor main features there.  Is the key Chroma identical or similar on these two programs?  I'd rather spend less for Premiere Pro unless there is some really cool stuff in After Effects that would make the extra cost is worth it.

I just bought a desktop computer new Dell XPS 8500 with a processor Core i7, 12 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT 640 1 GB GDDR5, power 460 watts, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit and a 2 TB hard drive.  I just installed a WD Black 2 TB internal second hard drive.  I would be willing to update the graphics card or RAM if it would make a noticeable difference.

I really want good advice on what to buy and suggestions for improvements of the computer if necessary.

    Dan Hauck

Both programs have good chroma keying. In Premiere Pro, it's Ultra key and in After Effects, it is Keylight. Both work very well.

I'd be inclined to direct you to a video - Premiere Pro - rather than a program of special effects - After Effects Editor - if you get only one.

However, if you are happy editing with Corel, After Effects may be the way to go. You do not get integration, you have between Premiere Pro and after effects, but you can still enter and create headlines and animation in After Effects and then assemble the change in Corel. Or try using a free editor like Lightworks. Still not as good, but free is free.

  • Audio stutters every time that Premiere Pro is in the foreground

    System:

    Mac Pro

    OSX El Capitan

    Processor 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5

    64GB memory

    Graphics AMD over-pants D500 3072 MB

    First Pro CC2015 v9.2

Question: If I have Premiere Pro and After Effects opens at the same time, whenever the PP is brought to the foreground, my audio stutters - not only in reading, in PP, but any application that might be audio playback (YouTube video, iTunes, etc.). I don't know which version this started on, but he did until I upgraded to El Capitan, and it's also on my older Mac Pro 2.66 Tower. It is almost immediate. I can work on a project in After Effects by listening to iTunes. All right. As soon as I switch on do first at the forefront, iTunes will begin to stutter. Or, even if I do not have open iTunes, just reading a sequence in first - the sound stutters. As soon as I switch to After Effects, the audio is smooth again.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Samcomer,

Any Audio capture external peripheral connected?

    Please, try the following steps:

Create a global device and change the Audio preferences in Premiere Pro.

  • Makes me nuts. Adobe Premiere Pro CC - Mp4 fine but Choppy in playback and export.

It's driving me crazy. I can't find anything about my situation.

I transfer all my VHS tapes & tapes Hi8 using Blackmagic Media Express. They fired to the mp4 format, but the sound was a little out of sync so I went to fix this in Adobe Premiere Pro CC because I'm adding titles in any case. The original mp4 file works perfectly. But when I import it into Adobe CC he plays rough AND when I export, the new ground thus plays file. I tried using a converter that makes the works, but the video does not look more good. This is my first post so I apologize if I lack info.

    I have a...

    Mac Pro (end 2013)

    Processor 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5

    32 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC memory

    Start drive Macintosh HD

    Graphics AMD over-pants D700 6144 MB

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The problem is obvious, as the sequence frame rate and the output is 14.985 when be 29.97

I wonder if the mp4 clips captured with the good rate, but first he misinterpreted?

MediaInfo is a free downloadable software that shows all the technical features of the file source video. First, right-click on a clip in the tray, and then select Properties - what does say for pace?

Try this - open a new project, import your mp4 clips captured. Right-click and select change > interpret footage and if the pace is not 29.97, change it to 29.97

Now click with right button and select new sequence of the Clip. Add the clip to the timeline and play, how is it? Check sequence > sequence settings and make sure it is 29.97, and the output should be as well.

If you have already done a lot of editing and of course don't want to start over, try this. Make a copy of your project. Create a new sequence DV NTSC. Do the thing of frame rate change on source clips in bin. I think that you may be able to select multiple and modify several at a time. Go to the original sequence with published clips and do CTRL + A to select all, then CTRL-C to copy, then go to the sequence of NTSC DV you did and paste with Ctrl + V.

If all goes well, he takes the work you have already done and make a beautiful sequence of 29.97, you can then export to 29.97 and everything is fine!

  • Using "Keylines" to help make the titles broadcast safe in Premiere Pro

    Hello

I use the following great link provided by Bill Hunt to help make downrezzed to look reasonably good SD HD titles.

    http://library.CreativeCOW.NET/articles/hodgetts_philip/titles.php

I have a question about the screenshot below, taken from the link above:

    Screen shot 2011-05-17 at 7.06.45 PM.png

I understand the notion of "keylines" here, but I'm not sure how to make that happen within my title options menu.

Does have another name in Premiere Pro?  My search for "keylines" in the Help menu has been in vain.

In addition, in this context, the "80-204/204/204" numbers mean mean?

    Thank you!

    Matt

No, probably just outside. They are useful here, while the Interior would be just if you need a specific look.

The numbers, by the way, are the RGB values.

  • Make After Effects lower third editable in Premiere Pro

A friend has created some lower thirds using After Effects.

I want to be able to edit (change text) within the first that I will use them a lot.

Is this possible and if so, how?

    Thank you, Mark

PS. I have just moved from Final Cut Studio, which I use for more than a decade.

It is not possible now, but it will be in a future version of first Pro CC
