Why isn't Premiere Pro using my makes export?

I've been by clicking on 'Use previews' in Media encoder to speed up exports, but it doesn't seem to make a difference, it still takes half an hour to 3 minutes, no matter what I do to export. Because it crashes when I try to export more, then 3 minutes and also crashes when I try to make more than 3 minutes, I'm really stubborn by my long one project, it is quite frustrating.

It's fixed! I think so! I updated my Windows system and suddenly it works. It must have been some conflicts. I have Windows 7 and I saw an error message saying something about Windows Media Player, 32-bit and 64-bit, I, but I don't know who was linked. But I tried timidly export pieces bigger and larger, even without make it first, and it is popped in a few minutes. Phew! Thank you all for your suggestions because I have explored the corners of the system and program with thinner then than repeat the things little I could think in panic.

  • Why doesn't Premiere Pro use my GPU for rendering?

    Hi all

    I bought two GTX 770 s in order to render super fast with the wonderful first Mecrury playback engine. The issue I'm having is, I realized a project right now, but there is no any purpose of my GPU. My CPU is stationary at 55-80% usage, so I was wondering what was going on.

    Any kind of upsetting my investment has gone to waste. Thank you!

    It is possible that no matter what your project is not accelerated by GPU, or can be done by using the GPU.  Read this blog post by Todd K, which describes what Pr can do using a GPU (or two... or three...)  Follow the links to understand the list of effects that are accelerated, etc..

  • Premiere Pro 5.5 make a subelement containing Razor Cut to create a clip

    Premiere Pro 5.5 make a subelement containing several mode but in fact with a subelement

    Select all the 3 clips, right-click the selection and choose nest. Type a name for the nested sequence and it will be added in the project Panel. Therefore, you can process the sequence that is nested as a single item.

    See you soon,.

  • Premiere Pro uses all resources

    There is a lot to consider here, but when I visited, only about 50% of the CPU is used, while close to 42% of RAM.  However, there are a lot of hardware specification I should mention and rendering settings as well, on top of all the effects that I've applied, then let's go through each of them:

    Material:

    5960 X CPU

    2 x NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970

    32 GB DDR4 RAM

    256 GB Samsung 850 Pro (Premiere Pro and other programs installed here)

    1 TB Samsung 850 SSD Pro (film Source layer and rendered output)

    Now, we must also mention that I used an After Effects composition that I've linked in Premiere Pro that I THEN modified with SpeedGrade.  None of the pictures was made in this process.  So back on the effects that I applied.

    It is a 1.21 GB, 6 minutes, 1080 p, shooting video AVCHD in 59 FPS which has been modified with (it started in After Effects) corners, slightly corrected with optics Compensation, and then had a Compound Blur (blur Maximum set to 2.0) applied to him, all these effects for the duration of the 6 minute video.  Yes, it sounds like a large number, and it is.

    That After Effects composition has been linked in first and then open with SpeedGrade, where all kinds of ranking makes me, by stresses to shade and saturation.  Then, he was referred to first.

    So naturally, after all that, no matter how good my material, I was expecting a long render time.  What I wasn't expecting a 50% CPU usage only and nearly 42% of RAM of its use.  I did not follow the GPU activity during these renders.  So, which makes me wonder, what are my export settings and which programs are using the CPU?

    It was exported directly from within the new version of first CC 2014 (there is no update available).  I essentially corresponded to the source in everything (I was exporting no audio either) and did not "Use restore maximum quality" checked.  Isn't that 1 pass and flows have been set a target of 10 Mbps and a maximum of 12 Mbps.  So these are the export settings, but now, we need to know that I put the software to use.

    Seeing the Task Manager, even if I export from Premiere Pro, since nothing has really been done to images in Premiere Pro, After Effects takes the largest part of the CPU, to 45% while the first takes up the other 5%.  So I look at my settings memory and multiprocessing, I even if I understood it, to see that I set them as follows:

    U8OgPM1.png

    I tried messing around and changed a lot of these different settings, but I have not seen much difference.  However, there are many combinations that yet, I have to try.

    I know that the time for export will be long.  But, given all the above, why only half of the CPU used?  I know that the 8 is half of 16, as you see above (which seems to be a hint), but change that number to something lower did not alter the use of the CPU, I don't understand.  If I have to give an estimate, it takes probably about an hour and twenty minutes to export what I mentioned above (which is not too bad of a time given all the effects that I applied and it was exported to 59 FPS).  So, to sum up, are there other settings I should change to make more computer resources are used during the export process somewhere?  What don't get me?

    Multiprocessing AE is processing several frames and not multithreaded like many believe. AE threads on as many threads as systems manage to the limits of Windows for a group of processor. However, the treatment several frames is much more aggressive and regular application where permitted. Otherwise AE will simultaneously be multithreaded on 1 or 2 frames against multiple images for each instance.

  • Clear sΘquence in Premiere Pro using ExtendScript

    My work is almost done, but there is a simple question, how to remove the sequence using ExtendScript?

    In my script I can clone, rename, move the footages, WAV, pictures etc, but I can't delete it.

    In Data Browser (ExtendScript) it is app.project.deleteSequence (), but what are the arguments for this function? I know QE and I found only one thread on this topic (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1977423?start=0 & tstart = 0), there is no response, how it works. For many years, I'm waiting for the manual PR as a Guide of the effects scripts after = ( )

    In my project, there's a sequence I need to make a copy, create some footages and titles, then rename the cloned sequence, export it as a Premiere Pro project and remove it. Everything works perfectly except the last.

    This is the part of the code:

    app.project.activeSequence.clone(); // create "old_seq copy" from "old_seq"
    var nI = app.project.rootItem.children.numItems;
    for (var i = 0; i < nI; i++)
          {
             if (app.project.rootItem.children[i].name == "old_seq copy")
                {
                  var item = app.project.rootItem.children[i]
                         item.name = "new_seq";
                 }
           }
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    /*--*/
    for (var i = 0; i < nI; i++)
          {
           if (app.project.rootItem.children[i].name == "new_seq")
               {
                 app.project.deleteSequence(); //<--- this is just an example of the line, but how to delete "new_seq"?
                }
           }

    I can't find anything about this in PProPanel. It is possible at all?

    Thank you!

    There is no scheduled Scripting Guide for the organization. Potentially comforting: > 140 panels there to use today which depend on ExtendScript API of the body, and none of them had documentation either.

    It is not possible at all. Best thing: move old sequences in a sandbox that you create, named something like "Andrei_says_to_delete_these".

  • Best editing for Adobe Premiere Pro using laptop and external drive

    I'll confess that I'm not a particularly technical person. But I am learning!

    So I want to ask a simple question and hopefully get some good advice.

    I'm editing a feature-length documentary on Adobe Premiere Pro. I have a lot of HD footage, and I want to optimize my drives to optimize performance. To that end, I recently bought a StudioRAID 4 to glyph.

    I currently work for a Mac Book Pro. I use Mac OS 10.9.5.

    Processor: 2.66 Ghz Interl Core i7

    Memory: 4 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3 (2 GB 2 benches)

    I searched a bit on how to better implement my discs, getting some useful infor here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/662972 and here: https://www.video2brain.com/en/lessons/optimizing-hard-disks

    But there is a little too much information - and I'm getting lost. Use a 2 disk configuration tips? Or should I partition my drive of new glyph and use the 3 disc mounting configuration.

    I'd appreciate certainly all of the tips!

    Thank you

    Rebecca

    partition the disks will not help and will not change readership by this ranking. better performance would use raid-0 on the StudioRaid of glyph and 2 disk configuration in the table. Make sure that there is a backup of the raid, in case something happens.

    also 4 GB of ram is dangerously low, you can upgrade to 16 gb.

  • How to return disk space that Premiere Pro uses when editing?

    I use Premiere Pro on a Mac to edit video. Whenever I have a project, I noticed that a lot of hard disk space is missing. I deleted all of my video files and almost all my project files. I have released as much as 100 GB of space and after the editing of a large project, more than half of the TI had disappeared. I went in Finder on Mac to see if I could find were the room isn't, but I'm not able to see all the really big files that could be made of the space. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm at 7.6 GB on a 500 GB hard drive. Can not know where will all the space.

    First of all, most of the people working in these programs use more than a sub-Go of disk.

    Second... I don't think you have check your files from the cache, the database & such? Look in the drive of the project files tab / Scratch...

    Describes circles are the "bits" on your computer, parts of arrows are the location. You have to put in a place you can easily find & em empty from time to time.

  • AE freeze for a while during the passage of Premiere Pro using dynamic linking

    Hello

    I use Premiere Pro with dynamic links to AE constantly. In this particular computer I had it for 3 months without any problem. A few days ago began almost every time I change first Pro AE (CMD + Tab), a little bit at the beginning and now, a LOT of freezing. It takes several minutes for AE start working again.

    Looking at activity monitor the % CPU for AE when this happens is over 100 and often red (not admissible). Time range from 10 seconds to several minutes. I work with this constantly so I have to be able to move quickly from one to the other.

    Some details of what I am working with:

    OS X Yosemite 10.10.3

    iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2014)

    4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor

    32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory

    Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

    First Pro CC 2014.2 Version 8.2.0 Build (65)

    After effects CC 2014.2 Version 13.2.0.49

    I tried to uninstall and re-installation of AE, Premiere Pro and Media Encoder (in desperation) and the recommendations of Adobe support I run repair permission to drive on the boot drive, as well as through all the permissions in disk for all the Adobe folders and subfolders... No use, it keeps freezing like I use it. Memory RAM remains a good 20-25 GB when this happens. I'm running out of options.

    Any ideas what could be the cause and what I could try to fix it?

    Very appreciated

    I found the problem. HAVE nothing to do with the files, but with the huge amount of compositions that are related to the time wherever I have reach about 30 or so it starts to slow down.

    Solution, keep the compositions related to various projects of the AE. Works like magic again. Thanks for the help anyway!

  • Premiere Pro - how to make a power of Attorney?

    Hello! This is my first time on the Adobe forums. I use Premiere Pro CS6 on Windows.

    I received a short film to change (this is my first shot) with the film being originally: Apple ProRes 4444, 1920 x 1080, 24 VPS

    As I am on a PC, I can't export the whole movie in this same format - so I will (later on) move the project to a Mac (and maybe Final Cut Pro) to solve this problem.

    But in the meantime, I've been invited to export several clips in the film as substitutes, so that the VFX artists can create layers which are then added to the original images.

    VFX artists require same rate (24 fps) and the same resolution (1920 x 1080).

    I don't see a QuickTime preference that allows this.

    What are my best options for specific ASAP proxies? Thank you!

    1080i Preset and change the frame rate to 24 and progressive fields (if they want progressive - will almost certainly for VFX)

  • Why doesn't Premiere Pro show in the creative cloud

    I just bought the monthly membership, paid, got the confirmation, but still Premiere Pro only shows not in my creative Cloud options - under video only shows and Photoshop, prelude and hearing.

    When I use the link in the confirmation email I received, I can press "getting started."

    Which results in a me of Online Creative Cload download - when I scroll to Premiere Pro, click Download I go to the next page, but yet the program does not appear?

    What should I do differently? I'm already logged in.

    Please help me!

    You have a 64-bit machine?  The list includes only the programs that your machine is able to run normally.  Check your capabilities of the machine against the requirements for Premiere Pro and see if it comes up short.

  • Premiere Pro - number during video export with effects of gloss applied

    Hello.

    I created a video in Premiere Pro, in which I added some effects highlighted using the video effect of brightness. In the preview, everything looks fine, but when I export (like H.264 / / 'corresponds to the source - broadband' preset) the resulting video flashes like a strobe light in all the places where I used the effect of brightness. Does anyone know what could be the cause? I'm not an expert in Premiere Pro (as it might already be obvious), but the same video has already been correctly exported before, using the preset even, so I don't know what could be the problem now. I would be very happy if someone could help it.

    Thank you!

    There are ways to hide and even key them with all the effects of color images, you could try to do this with the Lumetri group and the color workspace. I moved the effects Panel on the right with the Lumetri effect controls panel in the color workspace... Notice, if you go into control panel Lumetri here, you have direct access to the masking.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 - how export/burn to DVD?

    I know, I know.

    Whenever I try to get some sort of help with a specific version of an Adobe product, I find the results for versions a bit several years old.

    Very, very exasperating.

    Now, as well as others, I would like to do something truly innovative old, and it's simply burn a DVD, but since the last version of the software, Premiere Pro CC 2015

    It seems that Premiere Pro CS6 - old - several generations is necessary, and then again - who seems no longer to be elite.

    Is there any other way to do something that (in my opinion) so fundamental?

    Without worrying about whether I have a new project file or an existing one, changes or no retouching, whenever I click on export, Premiere Pro simply crashes.  Same for Media Encoder - cannot open this same one.  I have all the latest updates installed cs6, the computer is new for two weeks - OSX 10.9.1, NVIDIA GeForce GT 1024Mo of 650 M.  The only way I've been able to export is through a back door: I use the dynamic link in After Effects and then returned to my sequences it.  Help?

    Recently exported a 6 minute video and it took about 2 hours. Same file in another application (Camtasia) on my computer took about 12 to 16 minutes. Usually take 12 to 16 minutes in Premiere Pro, but lately, he has been extremely slow. Anyone suggestions? Anyone else having these issues?

    If you do not return, we will assume that you have solved the problem by activating the GPU acceleration in SOUL & Premiere Pro.
