Premiere Pro CS6 breaks my audio files?
Raw files that I use are fine, audio no problems at all. but when I import the video into the first, it breaks apart my audio track and it makes a loop in unusual places. like a record that is scratched. I am very new to this program, so you'll have to dumb down the acronyms and others if you need more information. (I use this to edit my videos of gameplay, go youtube!) The file mess is a mp4, when I play the file raw its fine. Where my confusion.
OK guys, I can find a work around.
Closing the first and go to your media for first Cache Directory. Select ALL and delete these files. Open the first and this project and let him meet once again. See if the sound is fine.
First Pro preferences > Media and there is the button under the cover of database called Clean
See if it works and get back to me.

Premiere Pro CS6 only import audio .mov
Recently, I exported a file XML in FCP7 which seems to have translated well into first. However, I cannot reconnect media on a PC.
When I imported the files in the project, only audio and no video.
The files are XD Cam sequences .mov
Apart from first set of files perfectly in VLC Player.
Any suggestions? I am a newbie to first.
Images (usually MPEG-2 with different bitrates) XDCAM wrapped in a container mov quicktime on windows needs a format consisting of quicktime to decode - I know works is http://www.calibratedsoftware.com/qxd.asp
They have a trial version of their elements that allows you to see if it will work for you or not.

Greetings.
After a few sessions, navigation I have not found a specific problem within a bloat of project management. First; We are always backed up. I have a copy of the restoration of the project to which I have referred herein. Verify that the list.
Several people have posted here and around Creative Cow with problems about a growing using CS6 file size; I look at the files range from 300 MB to 2.8 GB. The unfortunate problem is when the project crosses a magical line that translates into an inability to open, import, export or access the sequences contained therein. Has anyone addressed a solution to repair the first CS6 save files? Reduce file bloat? I saw nothing (remember the days of repair FCP7... of solutions exist because the problems were frequent; fortunately not so bad with Adobe).
Know someone inside the code size file size maximum project first can read? I've created a monster... More than 200 sequences using 4.5 TB of sequences, which extends from Red EXCam MPEG4 and H264 codecs. And for a while, the size of the project was manageable. Then, it inflated. And one day stopped randomly opening. No of auto-enregistre it open.
Just curious. The files are not the problem, but the 2.8 GB backup file is. Specifications of the machine / / etc. are freely available, if needed. a lot of ram, no problem with all projects (just that one beast).
See you soon,.
Jon Michael Ryan
The problem lies in the automatic backup. Disable it. Turn 200 minutes. Save the project yourself. Make your own auto save folder. It has everything, but he healed for us. Now it's turn to Adobe to fix it.

Premiere Pro CS6 generates the HUGE file - settings of the encoder help please
Use PPCS6 to create a 6-minute AVI file. The video source is a screenshot of Camtasia AVI for an application that runs on 3 monitors, making the screen/video resolution 5760 x 1200 with a rate of 30. I need the same resolution/output format (Camtasia won't do that, where my first use).
The original screenshot is slightly less than 2 GB.
The output of AVI since Media encode is 45 GB that is simply too big to use.
Is there some settings I can use which will create a file of about the same size (less than 3 GB), and always look as sharp as the initial capture?
My current encoder settings are:
Codec: Microsoft video 1
Quality: 90
Width: 5760
Height: 1200
Frame rate: 30
Field order: lower first
Appearance: Square Pixels (1.0)
Depth: 8 bit
Key frame interval: 8
Optimize images checked.
Use of Camtasia files their own codec TechSmith (TSCC) that is highly optimized for Screen Capture where virtually nothing changes from one image to the image, and realistic you can beat it with any one of the default codecs, which are designed for full-motion video. With MV1 file size is what I would expect from such a massive resolution. Also, do you really need 30 images per second? Most of the screencaps OK look at 12 15 or even at a push.
You should be able to encode to AVI/TSCC, if you have Camtasia on the same machine as Prem, otherwise you can download the pack codec for free from the Web of Techsmith site.

No files Premiere Pro CS6 F1 help
I have Premiere Pro CS6 without a help file. When I click on help or press F1, nothing comes.
What should I do?
Keyboard mapping is in the key Board Short Cut, but F1 is set by default to help.
Even if she worked for you (virusscanner, firewall? at), you will be directed to support CC and not CS6 (have no idea how to change that).
Better is to set the pdf help

Export of media in Premiere Pro CS6 ONLY produces an Audio file in Media Encoder
First of all, all the System Info:
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card
I use the first Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC: 264587)) «Mighty Kilt»
Version 6.0.3.1 (64-bit) Adobe Media Encoder cs6
Other Adobe applications: AIR, creative cloud, Download Assistant, Encore CS6 Library, 12 ActiveX of Flash Player, Flash Player Plugin from 12, Manager help, Premiere Pro CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 functional Content, reader XI
I ran on Premiere Pro and Media Encoder updates and everything is up-to-date
I produce a two disc double layer DVD for 100 families of my sons of fanfare.
I have half an hour "masterpiece" of interviews, segments of performance, rehearsal sequences, credits, etc. that I edited complete set with sound, etc.
I also have various other video segments of the season, a high quality (1920 x 1080) and a decline in quality.
Rather than import in yet and have yet to transcode all the same quality, I wanted to make sure the piece of half an hour and some other segments were transcoded in highest possible quality and given the large size of the files that I could and then transcode other segments at lower levels of quality as it is necessary so all the space on the disks.
The company I use to duplicate/replicate the 100 DVDs of my DVD Master advised me to encode them FIRST in Premiere Pro as you wish and THEN import these files into yet.
I used Adobe Media encode a lot to export the individual segments in the files, I could upload it to Youtube and have had no problems for several months.
But now, two things happen:
(1) SOUL automatically designates the file 'exit' with an extension .aac (see table)
(2) when I do a file "import under" soul encoded in still won't load an audio file (obviously)
Huh?
Here are the settings I use in my export media dialog in Premiere Pro CS6:
Format: MPEG2-DVD
Screening: NTSC widescreen high quality
Out of name (and the file type): _ name with like kind of video Files (*.mpg) «»
Boxes to "Export video" so much "Export Audio" is checked (see attached screen print)
The filters tab: on the left as is, don't do anything here
Multiplexer tab:
- Click on the button "DVD" (vs. the "None" button)
- Bitrate type: left as Variable that matches what is selected by default
Video tab:
- Codec: Reads MainConcept MPEG video
- Quality: increase it up to 5
- TV standard: NTSC
- Frame rate: 29.97
- Field order: no (progressive)
- Pixel Aspect ratio: screen 16:9 wide
- Go to maximum depth box checked
- Encoding Bitrate: I choose CBR for my high quality segments and VBR 2 pass for my segments of lower quality
- Bitrate: kick up to max to high quality segments, adjust as required to obtain the size of the file that I want for my lower segments of quality
Audio tab:
- Audio format: Dolby Digital
- Codec: Dolby Digital
- Bitrate: 320 at least, sometimes higher for segments, I want to be the highest quality
I check the box of "quality to make Maximum usage.
I chose 'Tail' for everything and then let it run all night
And Yes, the original media has TWO a video track and audio track that works (see screenshot)
So... What am I doing wrong, useful experts?
A - ha! MPEG2 export formats missing in the SOUL is the key to the riddle. You have a license problem, possibly the one discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4401451.
I'm not familiar with this issue and has not taken the time to read the pages that links Todd to-instead, I wanted to get the link for you as soon as POSSIBLE. If you have a problem directly solving the problem, I see two immediate options: 1) encode "in-process" by Premiere Pro by clicking 'Export' in the dialog box export settings (as opposed to the queue, which of course sends the job of the SOUL), or 2) to install the trial version of CC (aka 7.x).

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on a MacBook Air. (I use an external hard drive for files and the project, don't worry). I'm editing an average movie film I already filmed and stored on my hard drive, however the audio is missing part of a clip when I open it in the program. When I play the original video in QuickTime format, the sound is fine. In Premiere Pro, the audio works at the beginning of the clip, then it just suddenly stops at a certain point and does not return. It stops at the same place everytime I play it. I tried to open Bars and tones, and I hear the tone very well. I tried to look at the audio mixer Panel, and nothing is cut or a smaller volume. I double checked to see if the clip is on and it is indeed turned on. As far as I know, there is no other clips blocking audio somehow. I tried to cut the video with the razor tool to see if he wanted to kickstart audio feedback, still nothing. I tried to change the name of the video. MTS of. AVI (tip, I found online), no change. I have really no idea what is the problem, or why the audio is missing. And I don't understand why it affects only part of the clip. The clip is around 10 - ish minutes and audio works for about the first ten seconds, then stops. He's a longer video which is about 20 minutes in the length, clip, that I'm getting is the last half of the video.
If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it. It's for my graduation project and it is due in like a month, so I'm a bit required for the moment. If you have any other questions, please send them!
I can't really give you a reason happens, but I can offer you some options to work around him.
Open the item in Adobe Media Encoder and export it as a WAV file. See if the Audio is finished. If so, put that in first and make a subelement with the original video file.
Again, NO idea why this might happen, but rather that why worry... Let's see if we can get your finished project.
Good luck!

Hi Jason,
Navigate to the following location:

Premiere Pro cs6 - video pane of the workspace remains empty when you try to view the imported files
Hello
I am currently working in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. When I import my media into my workspace and drag it into the timeline, the preview area where you can review your cup video remains black. Double-click the imported file gives the same result. I was initially import files .jpg (about 300 KB of size for each) so I tried to import various other image formats - .png, .tiff, etc... I even imported a my scene movie file to determine if the problem was with my format of content. With video, the audio plays fine, but the video remains empty in the preview area. I tried rendering my workspace and change my initial parameters of the project, but to no avail. I went to my preferences for first and far as I know, everything seems fine.
I use the software on a HP Pavilion, Windows 7 intel core i7, 8 GB of ram with a 2 GB of 650 M from nvidia card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello
Have you tried to change your Video Renderer? It would be under the project > project settings > general. Switch option only the Mercury playback engine software and see if it helps.
Thank you

Mapping of channel audio in Premiere Pro CS6
I use Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.5. Double-click an imported file to ac3 5.1 in my sandbox showed 6 channels in waveform in the Source Panel. The channels are mapped to L, R, Ls, Rs, C, LFE. This is not consistent with Dolby Digital standard, L, R, C, LFE, LS, RS. I tried to put the Channels in this way when Audio output mapping preferences without result.
Question 1.-y there a way to change the mapping to conform to the Dolby Digital?
Question 2.-j' use the plugin Surcode. SurCode will automatically map the channels properly when exporting?
Thank you!
Hi DAC1x,
You tried to edit the audio channels in the project Panel. If this isn't the case, please try the steps and check if it helps
In the project Panel, select the clips you want to map.
Select Clip > edit > Audio channels.
Under track Format, click 5.1
Kind regards

Strange audio problem in Premiere Pro CS6
Hello
I encountered a very strange problem. I am changing a documentary film in Premiere Pro. All the material was shot on the Sony FS 100 camera - imported in PP with the media browser. In an interview, the last part of a clamp has corrupted audio. At some point on the timeline audio stops playing, and it looks like a scratch on a disc vinyl - two words that are repeated at the end of the clip (see screenshot of chronology). The images are as it should. When I open the clip of Avchd source in VLC the audio works. When I import the clip in Final Cut 7 using the Log and transfer the audio works. My only other option would be that there is a problem of software with Premiere Pro CS6. Any ideas how to solve this problem?
PP version: 6.0.1
Source of images: AVCHD, MPEG-4 (1080/25 p - Sony FS100)
Mac version: OS x 10.8
Model name: Mac Pro mid-2010
Processor name: Intel Quad - Core Xeon
Processor speed: 2.4 GHz
Number of processors: 2
Total number of cores: 8
Memory: 20 GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
Third IO: Matrox MXO2 with Max
Mercury playback engine: Mode of software
A similar problem, potential, which can develop, is when the standard compliant process is interrupted before completing 100%.
A quick way to exclude this possibility, would be to browse media Cache files and delete the CFA and the PEK (waveform display) for this Clip, outside of Premiere Pro. Then, when you launch PrPro and open your project, the program will recreate both of these files. There are a small progress bar, that many do not notice. Let him finish 100%, before even touching the computer. Test.
I hope it's as simple as that.
Good luck

I can't find my file of Premiere Pro CS6
I downloaded Premiere Pro CS6 (trial version) on this computer, but I can't find the file. I have searched for it but no luck. On my other computer, I can open it.
