  I think that the camera records for XDCAM EX (which is MPEG-2). Usually, XDCAM EX is contained in a file MP4 and CS3 (version 3.2.0) and up have support for this. However, the MOV wrapper is not supported with this codec, probably even if the codec and format is. Check out this post and the next for additional information and a solution.

  I do turn Pr 2015.4 Pro on a Windows 10 PC and continue to have a problem trying to make. I can make my calendar and fine individual files but after rendering is compleat all my clips are labeled "missing media. I deleted all my files rendering and a new made it several times and the same problem still occurs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  -delete the cache of media, media cache database and overview of folders?

  -modify the project settings to preview the files?

  HI, I know there are a lot of similar questions over there, but I can't find a solution to this problem. My partner receives technical and has a very narrow period difficulties. It receives the error message indicated in the title, when you try to import video files/records. HOWEVER, because it uses the CMA of the University, we cannot download or run programs that other people have suggested in the forums. We are all unfortunately two illiterate technology and really desperate for help.

• MOV files in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 - XDCAM (MPEG) MPEG 1/2 (xdvc) resp.

  Description of the problem:

  I got a bunch of MOV files on a disk formatted HFS + for editing on Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.3). When I import to Premiere, first said "Codec missing or unavailable. Paragon HFS + is used to manage the disk formatted HFS +. I copied the data to a disc formatted NTFS before use.

  Research, I gave the following indications:

  I tried to play in Quicktime and Quicktime said that I would need additional software to play the .mov file. But I could run the detective movie and it shows "XDCAM EX 1080i 50 (35 Mb/s VBR).

  VLC plays (!) and says it's a "video Mpeg 1/2 (xdvc)"

  MediaInfo said "MPEG video (XDCAM).

  The sound is PCM (L) according to inspector mov programs.

  The MPEG2 format seems to be supported by first (also in HD), forum entries tell me that I should be in version 5.0.2 as it Adobe supports the MOV container. So now my question: what am I missing?

  I have no idea on the camera used to film, but it could be a JVC, as it says that the JVC writes mov files.

  OK, let's go:

  1. Get an accumulation of static electricity of FFmpeg here: FFmpeg Windows builds of HawkEye. The 32-bit version is fine.
  2. Open the file from archive downloaded and go to the folder "bin"; ffmpeg.exe extract to a folder containing your SBDAs.
  3. Create a new text document in the folder with FFmpeg and the media, called 'mov2mp4.bat' files by making sure that you change the .txt extension to. bat.
  4. Open the text document and paste the following text:

     @ECHO OFF
     for %%a in (*.mov) do ffmpeg.exe -i "%%a" -vcodec copy -an -f mp4 "%%~na".mp4
     

  5. Save the document (even once, ensuring, it has a .bat extension), double-click it in the Explorer. The batch file runs and every MOV in the file processing and repackaging it in a MP4 container. It is lossless (there is no transcoding) and should go relatively quickly. Note that this is not also copy the audio, so you do not have the video files only. The resultant MP4s will perfectly be important in first.

  Keep in mind that everything works fine in CC2014. There is no question here to do with import, proper use of AVCHD file structure blah blah... the problem is with Premiere Pro CC2015 codecs does not.

  I already talked to others who see the same thing with Canon C300 MXF images when you open CC2014 files in CC2015. That's why two very different codecs with the same problem.

  All combinations of signs out and sign in again and restart. None have worked. Codecs remains unreadable.

  THOUGHTS ON PROBLEM?

  Reminds me of the old modes where some codecs did not work due to the licensing of demonstration. Looks like CC2015 can not access the codecs for one reason or another. I don't know how to fix it.

  I looked up the prefrences codec of video via VLC. Here are the codecs:

  You can download it from the Web Avid site.

  NB: If PrPro will not see the Avid codecs after successful installation, the Avid QuirkTime codec package, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \QuickTime\QTComponents folder, copy all the *.qtx files and paste it in C:\Program Files (x 86) \QuickTime\QTSystem folder.

  I have files that comes from a new camera Panasonic 3 ccd of friends.

  I get a "Codec missing or unavailable" error when I try to load files into PP CS4.   Is there a special .mov Codec I need to download or something?

  Function of log capture and transfer of the PCF uses the Apple Intermediate Codec, which is not available on Windows at all.  It must export from FCP using a codec such as Photo-JPEG or PNG lossless and then send you these files.

• Premiere Pro CS4 trial update, now the codecs are missing

  I had to reinstall my Premiere Pro CS4 (which was a downloaded update) on a new computer and install the free trial first. Now, after working with Adobe support and supposed to have been upgraded to full CS4, I get the error message: "additional codecs that do not appear in the Premiere Pro CS4 trial version must be installed." I try to update on the Help menu, but get the message that "there no update at this time."  Anyone have any ideas?

  I bought the Master CS6 Collection (for Windows) last six months partly because he had Premiere Pro.  Once I installed both disks, I realized today that Premiere Pro is not on my computer.  I think it's the only program that I'm missing.  He even said that it on the box.  He said on the Web site.  It just doesn't appear anywhere on my computer.  Should I try re - install disks?

  My apologies nameUNORIGINAL I missed the mention CS6 in your initial post.  The uninstall instructions are identical for the Creative Suite 6.  You do not want to reinstall from your installation media.

  Also instead of C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe first Pro CC you want to go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

• Premiere Pro Audio 2015.3 filter missing

  Updated for Premiere Pro 2015.3 and I am missing and audio filter that I had requested multiple clips. I received a message saying - missing Audio filter: 1735550321 1634758764 4:1635083896 the same message appears 4 times. When I open the audio clips, it reads as a filter off line and there is no filter or settings more. Everyone knows the same? I had already worked on the audio for audio project where the client liked it and now miss me the filter.

  Tried using chat clients and phone, but it seems that, because of the holiday we help is not available from Adobe.

  This procedure worked for me. The error message actually appeared randomly in first 2015. I decided to update (despite being in the middle of a project) in the hope that the missing CAP, called "Complete left internal" should be reinstalled with the updated. However, the message reappears and still appear despite my tracking sheet instructions scan above. What's also weird is that I don't think the filter "Fill right" for use with stereo tracks was used in my project (started by another editor on another system), I have never seen or used a plug called 'left internal filling.' I was assuming that this is another name for the filter "Fill right", but as I think about it, which is not really make sense. In addition, I can still see the filter "Fill right" in my list of audio effects. The turn off to where it has been used in the edition does not restore original channels right, to the left, which leads me to think that once you apply this effect, you can't go back. But in any cause, the effect is still there under the effects controls. If this is a mystery with an annoying dialog box popping up when I start the program.

• Premiere Pro 2015.3 update - missing audio filters?

  I've just updated for Premiere Pro 2015.3 on my end of 2014 3.5 Ghz Intel Core i5 iMac and I see that the new version of first does not include a significant amount of audio filters from previous versions - I'm looking particularly to the series to THE. (i.e. AUgraphic EQ).  Its a similar problem for the missing lut - which I was able to solve through this forum.  Any advice on where to find existing filters and the folder in which drop them for first to register would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
