  Would like to know the maximum ram that the system will support.  I saw a few features that say that it supports up to 4 GB but have seen others say that it does support up to 2GB maximum.

  It has been a while since I had to dust it off. Refer to the section for models of level 2. While you're there make sure you have all the drivers like chipset.

  To visit different places if you want to install XP on your machine as it came with windows vista.

  So let's start our trip...

  First, install the chipset driver and restart.  This should also install the network card.

  Hello

  I have a Presario V3440TU (p/n: GS115PA #AB5) with Win XP installed on it for a few years now. I would switch to Win 7, as the Win XP from Microsoft support lifecycle policy is now complete. Unfortunately, I can find no drivers Win7 or Vista to V3440TU anywhere.

  I know, there used to be a page for V3440TU on the HP site where I could download the drivers, but it seems to have bee removed/archived now.

  I would really appreciate if comeon could direct me to a Web page or other source where I can find these drivers.

  All I could find is a V3440AU.

  Take a look at the product specifications page, and if the material is the same, then the drivers on the driver page will work on your model too.

  To find the drivers for XP, you will need to visit the Web sites of OEMs making the individual components. Trying to install XP on an active AHCI system can cause you should be. It is easier to install Win XP with the BIOS SATA IDE options value.

  AMD chipset

  AMD Radeon HD graphics card

  Realtek RTL8105E (download and install 7 article to the bottom of the list)

  Audio Realtek ALC662-VC1 (check accept, click Next, select 6th item down in the list)

  Make sure to install Window XP SP2 or SP3 before installing these drivers

• Compaq presario sr1350nx: drivers missing

  the video controller drivers are missing. I'm looking for PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_2782 & subsys_2A08103C & REV_4\3 & 11583659 & 0 & 11. I don't know if these are codes error or pilot ID numbers. I replaced the hard drive and no longer have access to the driver info. If someone can tell me where to find these drivers I would appreciate the help.

  The graphics card in your PC is not quite able to work on W7.

  This is a driver that you can use which will allow you to change the resolution of the screen and have the graphics acceleration.

  This package contains the Intel 915GM Graphics Driver for the laptop listed models running a Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System list.

  Windows 7 Aero does not work on the graphics card Intel GMA 900.

  You must manually install the driver as follows...

  Download and run the graphics driver above.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

  Conclusion of any windows error.

  Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller needing drivers (if there is no video controller device in the list, and then click to expand the category of graphics device and you will see a Standard VGA adapter y).

  Click device of ether you have.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

  This file will be located in C:\ SWSetup\sp34749.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

  Then restart the PC.

  I am very surprised that card reader driver did not work.

  I guess you can try the XP driver for this support from your PC and driver page and see if it works (on W7 XP drivers work).  You may need to install manually as the graphics driver.

  This is the first report I received where someone said that this driver messed up the PC.

  In regard to the clock does not follow time... There may be several reasons for this, and nothing of which I have an answer for.

  Please read the guide on where to find the ID of the equipment once you click on the network controller device.

  You click on the network controller device.

  Then there are tabs at the top of the window. Click the Details tab.

  Now that you see a line marked property.

  There is a drop-down list that is set by default to the Description of the device

  On this line and select the second item in the list just below the label description of device and it will be labeled In the hardware Id

  Then you will see in the window after you select hardware ID's a list of characters that looks like this:

  PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1502 & SUBSYS_1494103C & REV_04
  PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1502 & SUBSYS_1494103C
  PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1502 & CC_020000
  PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1502 & CC_0200

  I need you to post the first string of what you see. So I have need for this example, this line:

  PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1502 & SUBSYS_1494103C & REV_04

  Without this hardware ID, there is not a thing I can do to help you in other than to post the links to about 25 different drivers for the wireless card until you find one that works.

  The problem with this method sometimes tries too many pilots mess the registry of your operating system and can cause problems with the installation of the driver who is supposed to work.
